Am I really the only one who hates Morrigan? I mean seriously I detest that character.

A chantry brother that used to work at a brothel until "the Maker saved him" (warrior) I like the idea of having a someone to show the Chantry isn't SO bad.
A rivani seer (mage) Give us a point of view of mages living outside of the Circle's influence without being dalish or an apostate
A surface dwarf (female) whose was raised by her uncle, a famous blacksmith. (warrior) We need another female dwarf
A retired templar (do templars retire?) that objects to the current Templar Order's actions (rogue)
Tevinter Magister just cause awesome (mage)
A baby drake that the Inquisitor found as an egg (replaces mabari)

Hah well I liked her for the sake of variety. Leliana was so sweet, I´ve got diabetes. Still thinking if I should sue Bioware.

Ain't that a good thing? She was the **** of the companions, so the banter was fun.

Also, I'd like to see a continuation of people being evil for better reasons than just evil for evil. I liked how the Arishok was a nemesis but more out philosphy than Meredith who was just cookoo.

She was interesting but not this legendary character some make her out to be

I romanced her, but I don't think she's any better or worse than any of the other characters.
But I want her. That one in the red, with the scythe. Or a girl who can kick that much *** and still look a certain degree of...I'm not finding the word. Wishful thinking, but...
Honestly though, I'd like to see a wide range of cultures. Meet someone from Tevinter, put a Tal-Vashoth in the party, a Navarran dragon hunter would be cool too. But if I have to deal with a Chantry-can-do-no-wrong fanatic, they go on the bus ASAP.

I'd disagree with you there. Loghain first underestimated his foe and then...well, went nuts trying to clean it up. He's a soldier, not a politician.
TIM was very reasonable and pragmatic, if a tad cold when it came to risking lives. Until ME3 had him go off the deep end.
We need someone like the Arishok. Someone who is our enemy for reasons other than being insane or a monster(literally). I'd like another Qunari, actually. Someone cold and logical and set against you for legitimate reasons, without going nuts at the end.

Well, excluding bringing Shep back and ME3, TIM was both.
Loghain also seemd a reasonable sort in the books. Until lthe Orlais paranoia got to him

Seems like a lot of people play DA2 multiple times, yet still fail to pay attention to the subtleties of the conversations.

I would like a femme fatale companion who tries to hit on the PC (irrespective of gender), luridly... a lot! She must be human.
