I agree, I have a core i7 / blood rage m/b @ 4.21 ghz and twin 285's w/ 6 gigs of killer ram and this game is very slow if played for extended periods. I have even tried new nvidia drivers and single video card game play- it still happens. seems it only happens after extended game play however. I thought it might be due to system heat- nope- cool as an ice cube. Not to mention the game - after exiting - seems to have a huge load on the system, takes a while for the desk top to kick in as it should, this is the only game that has ever slowed my rig down, and the grapics for this game are far from demanding- even at max quality.
hope they fix this, it's very irritating- it ruins the game play.

have you tried reverting the overclock and turning off turbo boost? it seems mostly i5/i7 owners and amd multicore owners are having this problem.

This is so retarded, but what can you expect? EA owns Bioware now. I can't say im surprised at the fact that nothing is going on.... I wasted $50 on a pc game that doesn't work, then had to shell out another $60 just so i can play it on the PS3 with inferior graphics... To say that they had to delay the PC release to wait for console versions to be ready is pretty shameful. But hey, thats got EA written all over it.
That happens for me after hours of play. While I agree that it should be fixed (and that kind of thing can be a real **** to locate and repair) if you just restart the game, it goes away, so there's no reason it should ruin your gaming experience.Osset wrote...
yeah this realy ruins the gameplay experience

I got memory leaks within minutes. At first, loading times are okay, but they seem to increase every couple of minutes. Then, the frame rate gets horrible. It's really anti-immersive to see a loading screen for five minutes, end the process, see Windows Vista, and get back into the game.

Hmmm. That's interesting. No problems like that at all. You wouldn't think there's be so much variation in effect. Like I say, I don't notice much until I've been playing for hours. I can only guess that has something to do with the builds of our computers.... Oh, unless...how many of you guys are using Vista?
