It is always a good idea for one person to be on the other side of the map while the other three do the escort. That way the people doing the escort don't have 3 scion's and 2 Pretorians completely wiping them out while they are trying to do the escort. But if the person on the other side of the map that is trying to draw enemies away from the objective goes down. He/she needs to know that he/she has to use a media-gel. We aren't going to leave the objective to go revive him/her.

Consider that cqc classes sufferer greatly inside of that circle. If they run to the other side of the map, that's one thing, but a vorcha or a paladin will help much more by keeping enemies away from their teammates than sitting helplessly inside the circle.
