I normally hate playing Vanguards as I suck at playing them but as I am currently trying to finish the Biotic Mastery Challange this Weekend Event was right on cue to get the Biotic Charge and Nova parts of the Biotic Challange. So I soloed two and a half Bronze matches and got it done .. my reward was an Eagle 6 but well .. can't have everything I guess. I still ask myself if I will ever get an upgrade for my Valiant or if I ever get the Valkyrie .. *sigh*

One solo bronze = 33k points along with solo bronze challenge.

One team silver = 11k points... and thats about it.

Both takes about 20 minutes. And I'm not going into gold using only biotic charge. ;p

Apparently. I played a couple of games without restarting and nothing registered. I went so far as to shut down Origin and start totally fresh. I didn't get the splash screen (PC), but I just tested one wave on bronze and now the points are accumulating.

Done the op in Bronze. Picked up 3 other Challenges doing it with a Slayer. Also did my first Bronze Solo. And got a Valiant V in the Commendation pack.

Fair enough I suppose; I'm just in no bloody great rush to get a Crusader IX or Eagle III.

Well, the Eagle III actually helped me a bit into gaining this so fast. And I got the Hurricane II out of it.

THis is the best weekend op yet, anyone can do it and there's nothing in it to discourage teamwork. If anything it's a positive in that it may cause all-Vanguard games, which are generally rare (I've never been in a match with three Vanguards, much less four) and could be rather fun.

I'm envisioning four Vanguards all biotic charging the same brute at the same moment from four corners of the map.

That poor, poor Brute; never saw it coming.

Today, I saw two spectacular things.
A Biotic Charge-based Killstreak. Bronze, Glacier, we had three Vanguards (Phoenix, Asari, Krogan) and an Infiltrator (Shadow). Shadow was the first going in the spawn, Shadow Slashed a thing, put the electric DoT in. Then all three of us charged together *boom* *boom* *boom* *killstreak*
Three times, it happened three times

Then, I saw the Vanguard Machinegun. Game with four Vanguards, we all chose a single target (it was a Banshee, barrier down), and without any prior coordination since nobody had a mike, we all charged, one after the other, like a goddamn assault rifle whose bullets were Vanguards.

Playing this has taught my how annoying vanguards can be. Lag, I guess? So sick of mashing the 1 key while having my crosshairs/target locked onto an enemy that's out in the open with me. Died so many times while expecting to charge out of danger.

Congrats! Nice to get stuff done in tandem.

Got to play with the Batguard and rack up some Bronze solos as well. Eviscerator now 100%. Still so much to do though.

Valiant I for me, but I'm not a sniper normally.
