If this game takes place in Orlais then I expect a lot of overly expensive, delicious cheese. I know the whole game isn't set in Orlais, but for the part that is there must be cheese. Not just one kind of cheese either, I want like twenty different flavors like despair and such.

If I have to go through a orlasian party with stinky cheese...I might just murder knife someone.

The nerve! If you kill someone at a fancy Orlaisian party then at least have some class! Poison their drink, tell everyone that said person loves Ferelden, or tell the host they called their outfit hideous; all will result in a painful death of said person

Dat reference. XD

And why? Has there been some lore entry to indicate that Orlais is a large producer of cheese? Do they have a lot of cows? Is Orlais so rich for their fancy cheese shipments? Mmmm...

Well, DA3 is looking to Skyrim for inspiration and there was a lot of concept art done for kinds of meat in Skyrim.  And man did it show with the variety of cuts that could be found on tables throughout the lands.  Perhaps DA3 can do for cheese what Skyrim did for meat.  Indeed we can only hope that some poor Bioware artist (preferably a recent hire, mwaha) is toiling away at cheese art as we speak.  /vikingchorus

While on the subject of food, it would be nice to see the PC and companions eat. I don't think Hawke or the Warden ever did except for downing potions.

And maybe all the cheese will be a clever symbolic metaphor for the game being so cheesy? Yes, no?

Anderfels has ham that tastes of despair, it is indeed Orlais that is known for its cheese
and I hate cheese ... though I hope there will be some easter egg armor like Orlesian Cheese Plate (with cheese on it and obscure stats like ... repelling enemies)

Alistair disagrees.  He said the Anders are known for being religious, and making a great deal of cheese.

Admittedly, this was when he was talking about how he was raised by giant slobbering dogs with wings.

I love you for this reference! Although I'm pretty sure it was Colonel Mustard!
