Hello m'dears!!

After a long frustrating break where I just couldn't make my brain work and my fingers type, I've managed to get my Chapter 7 up on ff.net.

Rogue on the Rocks - Chapter 7 - Panacea

As it says in the note at the top - I've not had this edited by my expert beta-readers so I apologise for any horrible spelling mistakes or grammatical errors you might find. And of course, I've not had an opinion from them as to the quality of the content, so it may be a load of old crap!

However, I hope it isn't and I hope you enjoy it. If you do, please please do let me know - it's just the best thing when I get your notes. But if you have something a bit more steely to say, I would love to hear from you but please be gentle with me - I'm a bit wobbly about this one!!

I love the story, it's very clever, readable, intense and it actually surprises me which is a good thing and rare to see. Kitsen is an interesting character.



The last three chapters end in terrific cliffhangers, it puts me at the edge of the seat. I can't wait for more.

Thank you, thank you for your very sweet comments. And glad you are enjoying the cliffhangers - that's what the end of chapters are for surely? I hope the mild smut wasn't too shockingly written, I confess I'm not used to writing it and I did feel a bit coy when I read it back. And I know it's hardly the full on glorious technicolour event that some fics have - you brave, naughty writers you!

First let me waste you time with something people probably tell you several times a day: This story is nicely written. I really like how you have your own version of  Zevran.

On a more serious note: How can Kathryn be both Warden Commander and Queen at the same time? Aren't the Wardens politicaly neutral?

@Apophis2412 No, she can be both ***spoiler alert*** at the end of the game, if you're Warden is female and you marry Alistair, you can even tell him at the end that you are going to go off for a bit to rebuild the Wardens. So I think it is a very unusual situation probably but they are not mutally exclusive. ***Spoiler End*** [small confession, I also checked with a kind Bioware person when I was writing it, just in case ]

Awesome writing again.

The plot thickens, and I have to say I like it. The almost resolved tension between Zevran and Her Highness is pure drama, on one hand it's heartbreaking but as story device it's quite entertaining. I hope we learn more about what's going on in Warden Queen's head, that I would like to know. How you describe her that's really something, her charm is undeniable.

Yeppers, working now, and nice chaper! I see the 'spark' is still there between Zev and the Commander...naturally. I think I teared up a little when she said she'd missed him. :/



Looking forward to hearing about the rest of the plot...and I hope Olivier isn't fooling them all. Slimy git. :I *shoos Kitsen away from him*

Awesome chapter! I like the dynamics between characters, it's well played and it really adds to dialogues that are so tension driven. Poor Zevran is fighting hard, loosing one second and wining the next moment only to loose again, well *sigh* :3 Kitsen is thrown in the situation trying to make herself useful, than the Commander with her overwhelming charisma... add a bunch of other actors and watch the drama That's quite entertaining and engaging. I am very curious where is the whole assassination plot going. Need some good conspiracy theory
