She seems like a cool character here is her wiki page     http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Gleam

i'd forgotten about her, seems strange that they'd develop a new character and do nothing with her in the games. Maybe they're saving her for something?

That is the most contrived story I have read in my entire life.

Definitely not Mr. Gaider's work. (that wasn't sarcasm btw)

Personally, I despised the non-Gaider DA comics. I won't shed a tear if they are dropped from the face of continuity.

I'm pretty sure that whole thing will be (or has been) pretty much forgotten from the continuity. Not that it really factored much into the continuity anyway.

I must like contrived because Gleam the videogame looks like it would be fun to play. Still I would prefer the different medias not overlap otherwise you end up with characters killed via twitter and that was not cool at all.

A mage and a templar child. Haven't heard that one before........ oh wait, Rhys still exists.

Oh man, I totally forgot about her. Yeah, must say, those comics didn't really rock my world. Enjoying the new DG ones much more. Gleam and her whole story were a bit too melodramatic for me (which is saying something for a video game-spawned comic book...). The one interesting thing I took away from them were the crystals or whatever the templars used to suppress magic, altho I've never really seen them in the lore elsewhere.

God I hated that comic series (and I only read the summaries). Gaider is actually a decent writer, that whole series is just...ugh.

Or youu mean when Greagoir beats a pregnant mage, and then the templar father kills her when she runs away. Yeah, that whole series was pretty ridiculous and contrived.
