im gonna do my playthrough on this game again in my last playthrough i was an assassin double daggers now i kinda want something right in your face lol i kinda hear bad thoughts on 2H Warrior though but when i had Sten he was pretty much one hitting everything? how can that be a bad thing? shield and sword seems fun as well Alistair was a pretty good tank

i just don't know which one seems fun they both seem very fun so can someone give me a good pros and cons type of thing why didn't people enjoy this class and why they enjoyed this one cause i need some real help on picking between these two

2H warriors will give you huge burst damage numbers, while sword and shield warriors are more about drawing aggro and then mitigating or dodging the incoming blows.

Although a well built SnS warrior will also deal quite a lot of damage at higher levels, but the damage numbers won't go as high as a 2H warrior, at least in Origins. Awakening is a totally different thing.

If you like using activated talents, you'll find a 2H warrior fun, since it's mostly about spamming talents, generally speaking, although crit builds are also possible synergized using hasted style of autoattacking. If you want a tanking experience, SnS warrior is your thing, but most probably some other member of your party will outdamage you, otherwise, expect the battles to run considerably longer. Whatsoever, you'll survive; a tank always survives.

Even if that doesn't make much sense, 2H warriors are also good in tanking due to their sustainable talents and high armor penetration which are especially good for boss battles where the extra defense that shields offer is always not really important.

I'm late to the game, but these 2H guys seem to me to hit once per hour only, when a DW goes like a nutcase around his targets. With SnS playing somewhere in the middle of this.
Now, animations talking, I like SnS and DW the most. When I first saw that Back Slash anim, I knew I was right with buying DA. And now Sigrun, in "Awakening", fights like she's dancing.
Lethally dancing.
Fun.
I can't stop saying how beautiful that game is...

those are very good points still though i love both of them i love the power of the 2H warrior but i hate how weak he is so i love the defense of the SnS but his attack power isn't near as good as the 2H so i think im planning on doing another playthrough in the future but as much as i love your points which one would you suggest for this playthrough being a full on tank or being a full on power house?

You may want to play as a tank as you have already played as a damage dealing rogue. It would be a bit of a different experience, I guess.

A dual wield arcane warrior with flaming weapons deal more dmg than both,
while simultaneously being more survivable than both combined.
