So I searched this forum for "hands" and then for "zombie hands" and no results were found. It is almost scandalous that no one has created a topic about this until now. This topic proposes that hands in DA3 should look like normal human/elf hands (if I recall correctly only humans and elves had the zombie hand medicial condition) and not zombie hands. I'm sure Bioware have already got onto this already but just to make sure this thread was created. (Well someone made a topic about fixing the mouth and I think hands are the bigger problem so it too deserved its own topic)

I don't know why hands seem to be such a problem, but I assume they won't be aiming for the zombie look

It looks like they recycled that hand model from the skeletons.

They have that?....
And either way the devs should have been fixed the hand problem. And I hope the hands look normal in DA3 instead of looking like my grandmothers foot.

NO!

There, I said it. I've been using Tmp7704's mods, that not only reduce the size of the zombie hands, but also fix proportions in females. But damn, we shouldn't need a mod for this!

The hands in Origins were actually pretty good apart from being about 1.5x too big--and that was on men too. Granted, people's arms were too long in Origins and it made everybody look like Sasquatch. Oh, and the necks are consistently too long. The funny part of this is that the most non-human characters (Dwarves and Qunari) look the best!

I'll grant you that, yes, some people have long necks, long arms, or big hands, but not EVERYBODY. Make your modelers go to an anatomy class. Please.

Oh, and please take this opportunity to fix the problem where people with dark facial skin (particularly dwarves!!) have inexplicably white necks.  It looks like someone shot them in the face with a bottle of self-tanner.

I say yes because bashing the zombie hands is too mainstream.

Hopefully the hands in DA3 look good this time and not like DAO/DA2 *shutters*

You can put me on the "who the hell cares" bandwagon. It's a video game. I used to watch little pixelated characters jerk around the screen 15 years ago. If I had been unable to get over an unrealistic visual depiction of something I could never have enjoyed those old games. It's as true today as it was then.

If li could be nomed oftener the characters would have purtee-er hands.

And i dun look at the hands. I look at other parts of the characters. But mostly on gores and sword action. Cause after dialogues I play it to min max my tactics.
Plan on make some youtube videos on boss fights. Was the best part of da2 community. All the peops who challenged each other. +drolls+

if simple, small-sized mods can fix this, there really is no excuse for zombie hands in DA3

Now THIS is something I can get behind. The hands were GROSS. Especially Isabela's.

To be fair with those old games though it was a consistent visual depiction (mostly).  The zombie hands are just out of place.  You'd not be hearing complaints if it was Zombie Age (should definitely be the next age) and it was zombie hands on zombie people.

Nevermind zombie hands, look at Bethany's hair! That happened to me once and I redid my character so I wouldn't have to put up with that.

Yeah, they're just hands. Hyperbole aside, they're not good-looking hands. But I didn't and don't care about that. If they were claws, or hooks or something, that'd be inconsistent. These are hands.

I'm not sure why people hoping they'll improve something that was terrible is some inconcievable/unreasonable topic.
