Dragon Age: Origins Question:

I saw on another site that there is apparently a work-around to make Jowen's Intention quest work, but beyond saying thast the work-around exists, the site failed to go into detail on how it gets fixed.  The glitch to this quest is when it appears at the denerim chanters board it already has the accepted icon to you can't click on it and since you can't click on it to add it to your quest list.  The other site indicated that I could transfer a saved file to a USB drive and somehow access the saved data and alter it to trick the quest into thinking I had not accepted that quest yet, then it's just a matter of moving the file back to the x360 and going to the chanters board and clicking on it.  So what's the exact process to make that work?

Personally I am shocked that I even have to ask this.  I had thought that they would have patched the game and fixed this bug by now.  It seems like it would be a pretty easy bug to fix.

Dragon Age 2 Question:

I have 63 out of 65 achievements, and I've got all achievements from Exiled Prince, Legacy, and Mark of the Assassin, and I was on the bioware site last week and saw that I should have unlocked The Deep Green, Pendant of the Morning Frost, and The High Lords Belt a long time ago.  I pre-ordered DA2, and got Exiled Prince from day one, and I downloaded Legacy and Mark of the Assassin within a few days of their release and completed them soom after.  I was never prompted to download these promotional items, though it says I should have them, and now it says that the deep green offer has expired, but I don't get how it could have expired if I purchased Mark of the Assassin so early as I did, and I didn't know I was entitled to any items until today, so how do I get them?  I emailed bioware last week and got no reply, so thought I'd post here.

Dragon Age 3 Question:

Also, I watched a few vids about DA3 and there were some unanswered questions I had.  First, will it be available on the xbox 360?  There are rumors about next gen systems in the works by Sony and Microsoft, so naturally it is a concern to me.  The next question is that if it is next gen, will we still be able to transfer over out saved game data from the x360 games?  Also, if it is available on X360 AND the next gen Xbox, will we be able to transfer the data over to the next gen console when dragon age 4 is released?

And I am in North America, and I have the regular Dragon Age Origins from x-box live.  A frind of mine  lost my original disk copy, and I already had the DLC's, so there was no point in getting the combo pack, so I replaced it by buying it on xbox live.  I also play Dragon Age 2 on the x360.

Origins:

Which quest are you talking about?
And, yes, there are quite a few extant unpatched bugs. Awakening has some terrible ones with DLC gear where you can permanently lose all the eq on your character. Nasty.

DA2:

No, they don't prompt you. People got mad in Origins when there was a prompt to download stuff. Some of the DLC items were only available for a limited time and you had to register for them within that time. The ones from Legacy, Exiled Prince and MotA depend on your BSN profile updating properly, too, which means, among other things, that your account needs to be properly linked to the BSN and set to update. If you're playing on a different XBox account from the one you have registered to the BSN (not unusual), it won't update and you won't get squat.

DA3: They have not yet made any announcement regarding this.

Oh, sorry.  Jowen's intention was the Origins quest I referred too.  When it appears on the denerim chanters board it defaults as being already acquired, so you can't activate it and it appears in your quest log, but the 'deep woods' does not properly appear on the map so the quest cannot be completed.

And as for those items on DA 2, I am registered and have always used the same xbox360, though I do have two hard drives for it that I swap between, but I never got those three items ever and I don't know why.  And I got all the DLC's quickly and completed every achievement in Exiled Prince, Legacy, and Mark of the Assassin.  I am only missing 2 achievements total, and those are from the main game.  So regardless of whether or not there was a prompting to download those items, I should have them, right?

I picked up DA2 on release date with pre-order bonuses, including Exiled prince, and I bought Legacy and Mark of the Assassin shortly after they were released, and it did not take me long to get every achievement.  In truth, Exiled Prince took me the longest to unlock the achievements because it was initially bugged and the achievements did not work, but as soon as it was fixed I deleted Exiled Prince and redownloaded it and acquired the achievements.

So I see no reason why I failed to get those items.
