In DAO and DA2, we could use the radial menu to pause combat to issue orders. Like who to cast heal on or buff, where to target AoE magic skills etc.

But, it never allowed us to be able to pick a target in range for single target skills and magic. Like I could never pick a foe to use Winter's Grasp on or Pinning Shot, unless they were right infront of the user. (This most likely isnt the case for PC users)

So will we see a more, advance targetting system in DA3 for skills and magic that will allow us to cycle through enemies in range when we clicks spells?

You can target wintergrasp ect. You target with the little small circle in the middle radical menu. The cross swords is about your current target.

Yep, point crosshairs and shoot.  I'm pretty sure there was a button to tab between enemies as well.  The D pad maybe?

Perhaps, I am ps3. But do remember switching target often, I has just become something automatic for me, so I don't remember the exact procedure beyound point cross hair and shoot as you so describingly say it.,
