For those of you who had Miranda as Shepard's LI, how did you feel about the reveal she used to be sleeping with Jacob?

Just asking out of curiosity, since Jacob was one of the least popular squadmates.

Beautiful 35 year old has an ex-boyfriend. In other news, dog bites man. I was sort of rooting for them after his LM before the Brynn nonsense. But no, I wasn't threatened. She seemed sincere in her interest, and infidelity isn't her style.

Really really old news from me2. I'm not surprised if people don't know. You would have to want to talk to Jacob in order to hear it.

In Mass Effect 2.

Jacob reveals it in one of his conversations. I can't remember now if Miranda says anything about it.

Oh, is it Jacob's one-liner about how she requires a better man or something? I thought this was new dialogue, nevermind.

I'm in the same boat.

My Shep had Miranda as an LI in ME2, and I didn't really mind it. But I also didn't hate Jacob, I just thought he was a little boring and could be standoffish at times.

Because from the sound of it, unloyal Miranda would be meeting the Human Reaper and Jacob would be going into the tubes.

I forgot about that video.

It looked like Miranda was inviting Jacob back to her quarters. "Heavy risk, but the priiiiize."

Still, if a player had skipped Jacob's conversations in the main game they might have missed that aspect of the Shadow Broker vid.

I didn't really see it that way.
To me it seemed more like a " lets get to work" kinda move from Miranda.

No big deal. She's a woman in her mid 30's. Would be weird if she had never slept with somebody, especially with those... assets.

Did they have sex? It seemed kind of vague to me. He says "it got close, then it got really far apart." Sounds like he said "something almost happened, but then it didn't."

But there was that champagne scene in the iPhone game, which could be interpreted as suggestive. So yeah probably.

It doesn't really bother me either way. They don't seem very right for each other. Jacob doesn't seem to like baggage and Miranda has quite a bit.
