Yeah...even if we have to straight up replace Samara or Kasumi slides, etc., I'd really rather have a Garrus slide or something, you know? It's weird the main crew don't get "here's what they're doing now." There's closure for the "side" characters, but not the main ones you spent the most time with? Wha...?

At the risk of sounding noobish, I downloaded v0_2 from the first post and the fix for EDI's slide, so apparently, to install that last one I need DLCExplorer? The instructions seem to say so...

In any case, I think I may just wait for the newest update after Citadel comes out. Thank you so much for making this - I just finished the game for the first time (preordered it as soon as it was available, but disliked it so much it took me

Rio de Janeiro, thus South America would be most appropriate. Ms Goto and Mr Taylor still owe Shepard those drinks, after all...^_^

I'll second Rio.

In addition to the R&R reasons above, it has the N7 academy and a defensive force from the multiplayer mode. It is a plausible location for the current Alliance Brass.Shepard can walk in and claim 2 years worth of accumulated vacation.

With 200 years worth of global warming, even Germany is hot. Rio at least has a sea breeze.

The codex also says sea levels have risen 2 meters. Bremen is now a coastal city!

Yes, you will need to peruse DLCExplorer. The folder-structure is quite intuitive, and you should find the optional EDI-slide replacement easily enough. Just follow the instructions provided by MrFob and you are good to go.

or you use wavions installer and add the slide-fix later.

is should save you a lot of time.

@Jokerine: Yep, you could go with the installer and just add the EDI slide fix (it's just one file replacement, nothing major) or, if you are not just about to hit the ending yet anyway, just wait for a little while longer. In v0.3 the EDI slide fix should be included from the start.

@Bierwichtel: Whatever place makes the planet blend in the most. Rio sound good though. Or London of course, I mean, Anderson was born in London after all, right? Or how about Singapore or something like that? In all SciFi movies and shows I know,, if you see earth from space, it's always either the Americas or Europe/NorthAfrika/Middle East, never Asia (noteworthy exception is First Contact and the Solomon Islands). Anyway, it's really up to you. In most cases, the Normandy flies away again anyway :).

@Ironhandjustics: Yep, nice find. Coincidentally, I just saw this video a couple of days ago myself while searching for stuff. Consider it "accounted for" as far as MEHEM is concerned ;).

@MrBlazenGlazen: Adding fan made slide is very easy, just adjust the time of your video to the one of the slide you want to replace and change the correspondent bik file. Adding new slides to the epilogue is rather difficult and I don't know how exactly to do it yet. I gave a rather detailed description about thos difficulties a few pages back if you are interested to give it a try.
While I have no plans to add slides at the moment, changing some of them ... well, just wait and see. ;)

Do you think you could modify the new DLC content so that the party would instead happen AFTER the ending, and it's a victory party rather than a let's-forget-about-the-millions-dying-right-in-this-moment-party?

This would require drastically changing the game. Currently, there is no playable save file made after the end. This would require not only the "Legend" save to put Shepard back on the Normandy but reset the galaxy map to before Chronos Station when all systems become off-limits. I don't think the current mod tools are up to the task.

Yea, I am guessing that wwinter99 is right. However, it's really tough to say without knowing what the DLC looks like exactly anyway. Let's just wait and see what we get first.

It will all depend by who's gonna be the main quest villain I guess. I think that otherwise it shouldn't be that hard to make it an epilogue story as long as not massive modifications into the dialogues or the setting are necessary. But I know very little, if not nothing, on the matter, let's see what MrFob and the others will say.

... That's all I can say there really.

One question though: Even if we can't put that in the game (not sure if we can/should). Can I put this image in the MEHEM picture gallery here on BSN?

It's pretty incredible to me the stuff you're putting together. Blows my mind.

Fantastic stuff indeed, that.

However, I'd suggest putting the name on a close-up of a cruiser. Far as I remember, the Systems Alliance's handful of Dreadnoughts were christened after mountains on Earth.

are you sure this is a dreadnought?  ::curious:: looks like frigate to me (doesn't seem to be much larger than the Normandy... (she actually looks like she's the same size)

Yea, I thought it was a cruiser. Tough to tell though because you don't see her for long there. Originally this is Hackett's ship (it's from the scene where he comes aboutd the Normandy for his speach) and Hackett is on a dreadnought for the rest of the battle so maybe Chashan is right but I can't make it out in that scene.

Besides, still works since "berg" is "mountain" in German.:D
