Its coming. I believe it is mostly completed, and mostly testing is involved at this point (feel free to correct me MrFob). It will be releasing *probably* shortly after the Citadel DLC releases, to insure the Citadel DLC does not conflict with the modJustGiveItUp wrote...
Anyone got any updates on the ME2 LIs version?

Please do not insult people on this forum. MrFob has done nothing wrong.
LoL, I meant game developers in general since it's pretty much like their standard answer to avoid giving out spoilers too much.
PS: wait, is being associated to a game Dev a bad thing nowadays? Didn't know that X) sorry if it is XD

True story, but I had never heard "Das Malefitz" until it leaked out that it was going to be the end credits for ME3, so I then went and listened to it on Youtube.... after I did, I knew without a doubt in my mind that ME3's ending was gonna suck hard and be tragic.sentinel_87 wrote...
Soundtrack wise I like Reignite, whenever I hear Das Malefitz I remember starring at my screen and wondering what had just happened. One of my favorite things with the MEHEM is the use of different music than the original game, it changes the mood dramatically I think.
EDIT: On a side note, I've actually been looking into using Faunts "Of Nature" instead for the end credits song for my own ME3 fanedit project.

Are there any stats on how many people are downloading the mod? (I'll be one of them, as soon as I can splash the cash on a PC that'll run ME3).

So I just wanted to pop in and reiterate that this is a pretty damn good mod, especially given what you had to work with, Mr. Fob.

Looks like the current number of downloads for V0.2 is 7579. That's just on the BSN, I don't know how many other places it's available, and I don't believe this includes wavion's MEHEM installer either.

Since its release a month ago, the installer has been downloaded from my server 1,768 times. This doesn't include downloads from the mirror (masseffectsaves.com), as I do not have that information.

That's pretty impressive. Y'all should have a party when you hit 10,000 downloads.
And I'm guessing that this is pretty much impossible, but is there any way to track whether anyone from the Edmonton area is downloading it?

What I still can't believe is how my youtube channel jumped from 10.000 views to almost half a million in less than 4 months. Suffice it to say that this whole thing got way more attention than I ever suspected or intended..It's pretty funny, if you look at the first couple of pages of this thread, it still discusses how my dropbox account got shut down for traffic a couple of hours after I uploaded v0.1

Wow.
That's worse than I remember and more depressing. Sounds like the ship on the crashed planet music too, which I don't like at all.
...Yeah, my brain lied to me. Don't want that. An alternate Faunts track like you suggested would be good, possibly "Of Nature."

So it's Faunts sad of ghost echo
random geth ME1 song, therum or something?
and PTSD once and for all
..
Not sure why I defended this credit scoring, my apologies to credit scores everywhere and even Reignite.

And if it ever gets reviewed by some popular game site, downloads will crash through the roof
And yeah Das Malefitz is depressing... never ever having it in my ME3 again, haha

I went ahead and extracted the credit track - it's not three separate tracks but just one music file. I was under the impression it was three transitioning tracks you had to edit all 3 of. (Glad I'm wrong).
This shouldn't be too bad.

And don't worry wavion. I'll certainly not change Reignite. I just adore that song.
@sH0tgUn jUliA: Thanks for the offer. If you want to, feel free to go ahead. Personally, I don't mind either way though. I usually skip the credits after Reignite is over anyway so I am fine with just fading the original back in. T'was the easiest solution.

Now, if I can just erase all memory of the original ending... The series may be playable once again.
Once you actually play the mod with your Shepard you might be surprised how quickly the bad memories get overpowered by the good ones.
I want a brain scrub as well please!!:innocent:

I absolutely love the "Reignite" song. I would be very sad to see it go. I wouldn't mind the Faunts song starting afterward, though.
Me too. I wasn't familiar with the song before MEHEM. Now I absolutely adore it. It perfectly fits the mood and theme of the MEHEM ending

Any suggestions for somebody who hasn't used it before, I'm going through and replaying the games now in prep for the Citadel DLC, which I will play obviously when it's released. Should I wait for the new version that is set to come out after the dlc is released?
Love ya work btw
ps: loved the new ending song, has such a great eerie feeling to it which suits the ending/the mood of finishing the game

Not much to know for someone who hasnt used mehem before. Just download wavions installer, and if *spoiler* you side with the quarians in 3, press the "No" option when specifically asked by the installer. If you broker peace or side with the Geth, press "Yes". And make sure you install it before Cronos station mission, or otherwise the mod just will not work

I mean when I try to play is says ME3 stopped working. I do have other mods that installed like the HR package and other with texmod but none of them is causing the crash. Any info about this would be awesome... Great mod btw

Of course, my MEHEM installer may be outdated. Wavion, have you updated the installer recently? If not, appears the whole mod may have to be fixed to be compatible for 1.5.5

Sounds like some of the sequences got screwed up in BioD_End002_400Guardian.pcc among other things. I'll look into it on the weekend. Did anyone do a manual install yet? Would be interesting to know if that still works with the latest version of the game.

could have any recent updates (like those regarding the new reckoning DLC) have caused any of these problems? I know that the single player and multiplayer are quite separate... but I am wondering if Bioware might have put some of the baselines for the new Citadel DLC in recent updates... :/

I found Of Nature on YouTube to listen to. That works a lot better than Das Malefitz for the end of the trilogy. Das Malefitz isn't bad, it just has this "twilight zone" quality that, funny enough, fit with the vanilla endings perfectly.
