I just downloaded Citadel and it didn't do anything to my EC Default.sfar as far as I can tell (the 'last modified date' was still from last night when I last modded it). Also, the new DLC package does not contain any ending files that might overwrite the old ones (like Leviathan did). So so far so good. I am running a clean install at the moment to make sure everything works properly but I don't anticipate any problems.Chashan wrote...
*PS: On that matter, can anyone confirm that Citadel leaves the end-game files untouched, meaning beam-run, chat with TIM etc.? Despite the worrying amounts of raw silliness that appear to be featured within what passes for its "plot", I may as well grab it once that is out of the way.
If anyone can confirm that v0.2 still works fine after installing Citadel (and doing a re-install of the mod after that), that would be very helpful though because I am running something like a version 2.9 at the moment.

i dont think so .. 0.3 mostly contains "behind the curtain" changes and bugfixes.
major changes for the videos are planed for 0.4 - if i am informed correctly. there are some very talented people working on the matter.

I haven't played it yet though, I haven't installed it yet either. I'll wait until Mr.Fob says it's done and then I'll play it. And hopefully it will repair the damage done to me by the original ending. I'm positive it will.
Thanks again for all the hard work.

You can still go with that if you want. In fact, as long as you romance one of the Normandy crew it probably won't make that much of a difference for you. There are some nice new gimmicks in the new version though, so I guess it's up to you, v0.3 shouldn't be that much longer now and you can always spend some time in the casino in the meantime.
@Jason76: That may yet take a rather long time. Still lot's of things to do. I'd recommend you give it a try after 0.4 (or 0.5 at least). It should be pretty much content complete by then.
EDIT: Oh, btw, I'd really appreciate it if we could keep this thread spoiler free for the Citadel DLC. Cheers!

Ok, so I just tried a clean v2.0 install and that works with the new DLC.

Well then,
Bioware - please send MrFob his commission for my purchase of this DLC. His effort at saving Mass Effect was the deciding factor in my decision to buy.

Can you check if Ashley's invitation button for that new DLC got bugged out? In case that's true, it should be possible to mod it back in since BW doesn't intend to release another patch for ME3.
In case the entire invitation scene isn't included - nevermind.
Just wanted to know it. I definitely want to invite Ash to Shepard's new appartment. *g*
And yeah, I'm still figuring out how to do the CGI stuff I promised months ago. I'm just gawddamn busy

@Cpt. Data: Hey, good to see you again. Not sure what "invitation button" you are talking about. If that is something from the DLC itself, I haven't touched it yet so I can't comment on that. Or does it have something to do with the endings? I didn't test an Ash romance save yet but I don't see how there should be any difference unless the DLC screws with some plot flags. So yea, not quite sure what exactly you mean there.
I think it's in reference to the DLC part where certain characters are able to be invited back to Shepard's new appartment. Because of the weird triggers it seems that players are getting stuck and not able to invite certain characters up.
Basically if you have time, do you think you could look through the DLC and see if you can find out if Ash is one of the characters able to be invited up and see if the triggers are setup right?

From what I've gathered on the forums, the Citadel DLC lets you invite LIs up to your apartment for unique content. A couple of them, Ash included, don't seem to have that option. "Bug" or "working as intended" I guess, is the question
Some other guys confirmed it IS possible to invite Ash.
But maybe those guys were talking about the Party.
I'm talking about private dates and it seems some (or Ash only) are not available. Either bugged or - well, as you said.
I hope it's a bug.
Somehow I've got a feeling MEHEM is becoming a community patch DLC ^^

So there's no romance scene with Ash? If not then wtf?

Well we aren't sure. The triggers to invite people to the casino/apartment seem to be a bit weird + hidden so that's why we're wondering if there's a way to figure out what is actually there.

From what I have tested so far, Citadel is completely independent from the ending so there won't be any interaction between MEHEM and Citadel.
As I said, it's probably a good idea to keep this thread as Citadel spoiler free as possible because people (me included) might want to read something in here before playing the DLC.

Triple for me, my brother and I actually put all 3 games away way far back in the closet after the first playthrough of ME3. Couldn't handle that ending. By sheer luck I stumbled onto this mod by a link someone posted commenting on an article I was reading. So happy I did, would not have touched the games again if not for this mod. Many thanks!
On a side note, I stumbled across this vid earlier on youtube. Seems like more and more people are learning about your mod MrFob. Guy gives a great intro at the beginning and some of the comments people are making are nice to read. Be pepared for more traffic in this thread.

Until then.. I'm envisioning an entirely fan based open-source development of another ME trilogy. You're the lead, I'm sure you'll find some people with appropriate skills around this forum. Fanfic writers will give you a million ideas for a plot, and it probably wouldn't even be that hard to create like a "library" in the fan developed game where you could read fanfiction. That way the people playing the game are involved in its development, be it artwork, coding, music, writing, whatever. It will be a challenge of recruitment, and organization, and tons of work, but I think you'll find the enthusiasm necessary here. I'd lend whatever lame undergrad level programming skills and general "I'll try to duct tape this together and figure it out"-iveness.
Give it some thought. If you've enjoyed working on this so far, that would be really really serious resumé building as well as making the world a more awesome place building stuff.
By the way, thanks so much for all the work so far.
