Agreed, this is absolutely amazing work guys. I just watched it like 5 mins ago after finding myself severely depressed after Citadel DLC. This really helps, honestly.

Until then.. I'm envisioning an entirely fan based open-source development of another ME trilogy. You're the lead, I'm sure you'll find some people with appropriate skills around this forum. It's a matter of recruitment and organization. I'd lend whatever lame undergrad level programming skills and general "I'll try to duct tape this together and figure it out"-iveness.

Give it some thought. If you've enjoyed working on this so far, that would be really really serious resumé building as well as making the world a more awesome place building stuff.

Thanks a lot. Not just to you but all the commenters here lately.
However, I just want to quickly reply to the resumé comment because this compliment should really go to the guys who code the ME3Explorer like Warranty Voider, saltisgood and others. I am merely using their tools. Granted I learned a lot about the UE3 while doing this stuff but they are the ones who really know what's going on.
Just wanted to point that out quickly because I think these guys are just awesome. :)

That's just my point though, I mean maybe you don't have to be the lead, but Warranty Voider, saltisgood, and other fans of mass effect could make a team capable of doing really surprisingly difficult and awesome things. We have a diverse skill set here along with a few geniuses.

I think even a simple minigame type deal is not unrealistic at all.

Someone would have to kind of take on the organizational lead though.

Ok I just downloaded Citadel DLC..Doing a new play-through of ME3...now that I played it through with yours one time...I then un-installed your mod first, and ran repair, so it would be ready for Citadel..which is now installed..Does your MEHEM have to be installed right away, for it to take, or can I just start my second play-through, and wait for your 0.3 update..
In other words is there a cut-off point when installing your mod won't work..

you have to install mehem before activating cronos staion - thats all.

omega does not change the ending files and mrfob mentioned, that his own files are untouched after installing the citadel dlc. my guess is, that citadel does not update or change the ec-files.

Actually, you don't. You can install the mod just before Anderson's death scene if you like.

The only constraint is that the Extended Cut DLC needs to be installed by the time you start the Cronos Station mission.
If you don't have the EC installed at that time, the whole thing will be buggy.

I would recommend to install it before the beam run though to get the Harby lines.

Thanks...I have the Extenteded Cut DLC..for a while now as the rest of the DLC's also..
So I will wait to install MEHEM when you update to 0.3..Since you said that was coming soon..

I was wondering, what are your plans for the mod now that the Citadel DLC is out, and afaik, it brings back ME2 characters, and stuff. Is anything going to change?

Just aquick question:

Do you think it is possible to change the Citadel DLC, so it starts once you beat the game with MEHEM?

So you finish the game with MEHEM and have Citadel DLC as a post ending DLC. I have not played the DLC yet, but it does not seem to have any impact on the ending and almost no ties to the main plot.

So to those who played it: would the DLC fit post ending?

to the author: is it possible to let the DLC fire up after beating the game?

Signed! It seems to be a Perfect Ending, no doubt.

Does it work with the Citadel DLC? I haven't installed it at the
moment, because I don't know if it breaks the game with installed
Citadel DLC.


Citadel is completely independent from the ending so it will be fine, I guess. If you have any trouble, please tell us about it here.

I have to improve the cloud textures, but I think It could be cool once done. The problem is that is hard work to make alone, and will take time...

By the way, If someone has ship models that I can use to represent some races, it would be great!

You only risk to be banned if you modify coalesced.bin file, that is not changed on MEHEM for this reason ;)

Yeah, this would be ideal.  If Bioware were nice they would have made the Citadel DLC mod-friendly...

There aren't too many lines of dialogue in the DLC that explicitly mention the Reaper war.  Some of the stuff might have to be re-jiggered (that one conversation with Anderson, a few lines here and there, etc.) but maybe it's possible?

MEHEM followed by  a slightly modified Citadel DLC would pretty much be as perfect as it could get.

Eh, you'd need some lines about the DlC being set at least one year after the war or somenthing like that, to justify the fact that the Citadel is operative again, have Earth visible in some of the background texture here or there, and having some made-from-scratch dialogues, if not entire cutscenes where Shep and his/her LI talks a bit about their future together to make it feel like a good epilogue instead of making it "kinda working" as such.

So not as easy as it sounds imho.

This isn't really possible (as far as I know). The post ending "Legend" file isn't a playable save game. As soon as Shepard attacks Chronos station, as far as the game is concerned, the rest of the galaxy no longer exists.

Just as you can't run left in Super Mario Bros, you can't go back to the Citadel after the end game.

Yea, if you mod you can skip over the dialog that mentions the reaper war. The video conversation with Anderson would probably be the hardest part, but it might be part of a sequence that could just be unlinked.

What do you think about idea of moving Party from DLC Citadel, to end of game (after beating Reapers)?

After this DLC, I stated that this is my perfect ending, and I will never go to last missions.
This is ending option which is missing - Shep beating Reapers, everyone survived (or like in ME2 - only teammates who we don't have helped them before in their missions, are dying in final battle), and after that Shep meeting with them at huge party :)

PS: Sorry for my english - hope u understand my idea :)
