A bit off topic but I was wondering if you can help me?

If i want change some music in the game (I want to change the purgatory music) is this still the way to do it..

The file size of the replacement will more than likely be larger than whats currently in the game, will this be a problem?

Also is the filter effect when your outside the club applied by the game on the fly or is it a seprate audio file that the game mixes between depanding on whether your outside or inside?

Having read through the link I understand the process... The .pcc file contains the link (ID) to the asset (the audio file and it's location in the audio file - .afc). The import sound function in ME3explorer imports sounds to the end of the file. However for music there is a soundbank that contains more info to basically fire up the audio and play it....

The problem is the soundbanks for the main game are either different (in terms of function) to the DLCs and / or hard to find...

Well I'm still going to try... If I find anything I will update.. (Probably won't but who knows maybe I'll get lucky)

Will I have to install this myself, or is it automaticall done? :)

If you use Wavion's installer, then it's automatically done.

Well guys, here it is: v0.3 for your enjoyment.

This is the recommended version.

If for any reason you need the single files, they can be found here
EDIT: Turns out, the traffic restrictions of this file hoster only allow one person per day to download the single file archive at the moment which means effectively it doesn't work. The installer is the preferred way to go anyway though, so just stick to that for now. I'll see if I can't find a better solution for the archive.

Oh look, there are videos already as well.
Here is a second one with a Miranda romance.
I apologize for the fact that the youtube video are a bit choppy. My video recording software seems to get worse actually, no idea why.

Also, special kudos goes to wavion who stayed up until 3 in the morning after a hard day of work in order to get the installer to you as soon as possible. Cheers to him. :wizard:

MEHEM v0.3 changelog
New features and improvements:
- Jack and Miranda now have individual farewell videos (thanks to areyouareaper for the slides)
- New slide with citadel survivors (thatnks to Alienmorph for the new slide)
- A couple of new and colour corrected scenes for the videos (thnaks to Bierwichtel for the new shuttle landing scene)
- The game now detects automatically if you saved the geth or not and shows the appropriate slides. No more manual file changes are required.
- Stargazer scene now features MEHEM credits

Bug fixes:
- EDI slide can no longer show up during the epilogue
- Shepard-hands and Garrus-hug clipping issues improved
- Female animations for male Shepard removed
- Hackett's cut lines during the beam transport cutscene are back in
- Sound adjustments for the videos
- Lip synching improved during the videos (still not perfect though)
- Took care of some video formatting issues. Videos should now be of slightly better quality
- Sound balance during the videos adjusted. Thi is still work in progress though, please tell me if you think something is drastically too loud or quiet. Keep in mind though that the audio during the new cutscenes is dependent on you sound SFX volume setting (dialogue in those cutscenes included).

Changelog for the v0.3 installer by wavion:
- MEHEM v0.3.
- Fixed Disk Space Check for huge disk drives.
- Added CRC algorithm for troubleshooting (only runs if patch fails).

The new to-do list for v0.3 (08. 03. 2013):
- Improve the videos with custom scenes (Ongoing discussions and plans in this very thread)
- Improve the music (sH0tgUn jUliA is working on a custom soundtrack for MEHEM. If everything goes well, we'll hear it in v0.4)
In the mean time, if you like to change things for your version, try the tutorial on this page(last post on the page)
- Suggestion: Implement the extended dialogue between Anderson and Shep during Anderson's death scene (Not sure if this is feasible, it'd be nice but it will be pushed back until we have a clearer idea on how to do it)
- Fix subtitle IDs for Joker and Hackett (This turned out to be much harder than anticipated.More research is required before we can effectively change the IDs. Note: The subtitles themselves are modded and work. It's just that the wrong person can be displayed as the speaker.)

Hope I didn't forget anything.

@chomicze: Thanks. This picture was definitely the right lead up for my v0.3 post. In terms of creepy situations on board the Normandy, I think I might even be able to raise you one. For example, what do you think is going on here? Gotta make one for the motivational thread out of this one. :)

Great, as usual thank you very very very much for all your hard work and to everyone else doing some more concrete contribution than I did with my dumb extra slide (xD)

Now, speeching of possible future edjustments there was a thing that popped out in my mind... would be possible to remix the dialogues of Leviathan to make the monster saying that the original rebel AI became Harbringer instead of creating him? So absolutely nothing hinting the existance of the Starchild would remain in the game.

Also making the light that flashes for a second when Shep faints being red instead of white, so that it looks like the Crucible's and not random flash?

Just trowing ideas, I hope it's not too soon xD xD xD

Hey, I think your new slide is really awesome and adds a lot to the overall thing.
Also, sorry to you and areyouareaper for taking so long with implementing it (people should know that I have the slides for the citadel, Miranda and Jack lying here since December already).

As for Leviathan, I haven't played that yet either, just used it for testing purposes. I've also tried to keep spoiler free for it so I really don't know what happening in that DLC (consequently I also stopped reading your post after the word "Leviathan" :)). Will hopefully get around to play it soon though. Then we can see.

BTW, has anyone succesfully downloaded and ran the installer yet from BSN? I got a timeout error after uploading but the file seemed fine. I'd just like to know if everything works before getting some sleep as well.

Great. Thanks! Yes, looks like the installer has to suffice for now. It's the best option anyway.

Rapidshare is pretty crap since thay allow only 1GB per day which effectively means only one person can download the 600MB archive per day. I just couldn't find another file hoster who'd allow such large files. I'll have another look tomorrow.

I just read that (sorry I missed it before). Yes, that's exactly how it is. If you find the right objects, that would be really cool. I didn't really get around to searching for them lately. However, I am pretty sure they must be somewhere in the BioSnd pccs (just like in the DLCs). Good luck!

LoL sorry about the almost delivered spoiler... I guess I'll wait you played it before mentioning that idea I had again.

Another one, then. How about replacing the random N7 helmet shot, with the flash of Anderson that Shepard sees when picks the final decision? It'd make much more sense since the final scene is now Anderson's funeral.

Also, finding a place to reintroduce the "Holy sh!t he/she did it!" comment from Hackett would be possible?

No worries. I have stayed clear of spoilers for almost 9 months on BSN. I have learned what to look out for. :)

The Anderson slide is currently replacing the EDI slide so there is a chance people might already see it.

Hackett's "Holy ****" comment should be back where it belongs in v0.3. That it was cut was just an oversight of mine in the earlier versions. It's fixed now.

Oh wow.... just found this mod and just... wow...

Watched the Miranda LI v0.3 video, and it really feels like the way ME should have ended

Looking at the older versions, I can see the lip syncing has been improved quite a bit which is great for immersion.

Would it be possible for the still shakey lip sync parts to be said while not looking at the characters face or is that not possible? I have no idea how this modding works :)

Fob, what can I see...damned great work as usual, and then some more. The Citadel-population being considered is grandeur in and of itself (somebody seemed to have forgotten about them on BW's end, even with EC).

About the installer...I take it file-limitations on BSN will not allow for the manual files to be uploaded?

Well, Shepard's skin is still really tender after having his armor melted off by Harbinger, see...:P

Also, I'd like to once again say thank you to both you and Wavion for the work done here.  Just watched the v0.3 video and this mod just keeps getting better and better.  It's literally saved Mass Effect for me.  Can't wait to see what you, Ironhandjustice, Shotgun Julia,  and everyone else helping out has in store for v0.4.

Okay having a bit of trouble with the installer.

After doing a repair on the game (to clear out V0.2), I try to run the installer, but get a message "Default.sfar (EC) is incorrect size! Aborting installation"

Now I manually installed V0.2, could that be a problem? I'm totally okay with doing a complete uninstall/reinstall if that's what it takes. Jsut wondering if there's a less srastic means to do this.

Just used my original saved character. Yeah, fantastic. Cleaner cuts and more cohesive. Now I just an actual LI to see how that plays out. Time to finish up run #2.
