@garrusfan1: I already have plans for v0.4 (although I might take it
easy now for a weeks or two) and there are a couple of things in the
works by people in this thread at the moment which I really really want
to implement as well (because they are awesome, the people and the
things :)).. So yes, updates are planned.


Speaking of updates, would you consider further tutorials on DIY-customisation? I was not at all opposed to the hugs-for-everyone setup before, for one, seeing how screwed up the scene apparently gets for non-official LIs now...:lol:


Regarding the "bug" I encountered, would I be right in assuming that the key would be to replace 720MemorialBlue.pcc with its default, and possibly 730MemorialGreen with the 0.2-version? Or would I need to dig deeper than that?

I can not say it too often. Thank you MrFob and all the other great people contributing to this fantastic Mod.
V0.3 looks really amazing and I like the way the game recognizes certain states now.

I plan on doing a full playthrough of the series and I'm already looking forward to my favourite ending (on the citadel :D)

Keep on the fantastic work! I'm really looking forward to what v0.4 might have in store.

@Chashan: Sorry, I knew I forgot someone there. So, are you still getting to hug ash (and Trayner t the same time) are aren't you hugging any one (and both of them stand next to Vega)?

@creapsmantic and wavio: I always though Harby has the reaper monopoly on trash talk. :)

Machines are all about efficiency.  Why waste all that energy on a Terawatt laser beam, when you can cut just as deeply with a well-placed barb? :D

It's that, yep. Sorry I was being a bit long-winded there on that count...Could make a screenshot of it, it's both of them in the same spot, like the following:

Regardless, may try and tinker with it myself, if it's indeed merely a matter of switching out memorial.pcc-files.

Just quickly (edit: or maybe not so quickly :)) want to comment on that one because I am really glad that this one worked out. The game is very stubborn when it comes to conditions. The main problem with the ending scenes is to make sure things always get loaded in the right place and at the right time. It is a rather complex interaction between triggers in the level architecture it self and in the plot sequences.
For example, you cannot just switch from one memorial to another without taking into account which files get loaded before and after, which triggers are set when and where they are placed in the level. I also tried to skip cutscenes in the ending in order to test faster whether the memorials would work or not. Well, it turned out that just by skipping cutscenes, you can change what is actually getting loaded (it's one reason v0.3 took so long, because I had to sit through fifteen minutes of cutscenes for every single byte I changed and most often my change wouldn't work).
The most obscure problem I encountered was that the game would load things differently, depending on whether you load a save inside the citadel level compared to when you would enter the level during gameplay (must have something to do with how the files are streamed into memory).
So yeah, just to give a bit of background. I really hope that all of this works out for everyone. I tried to test as much as possible but it is very possible that there are certain things I missed or never even thought of.
Here's to hoping it'll work for the different EMS states as well.

I saw that you said you may need voice actors for scenes you are working on and planning to add. I have done some voice work before and have been in several plays so I would be willing to help if you are interested. I played the latest version of the happy ending mod and was really impressed with what you have done so far.

Regarding voice actors, the two that show up in the mod take me out of it. They sound so out of place (the quality of the recordings - like their mics were super cheap), but I know their lines carry the ending along. Just some criticism for something that could be ironed over.

It's only one voice actor (myself :)). My mic is fine but I actually added a bandpass effect and some static to try and emulate the comm channel effect from the game. I do agree that it's not exactly the same though. Will try to improve eventually.

As for actors: Thanks for the offer. I have to check out how I can do what I have planned first. I'll let people know when it's time to think about actually recording stuff. Maybe a while though, probably at least a month.

This may be a tall order but I shall suggest it anyhow. Would it be feasible to pluck some of the Citadel DLC content into the ending sequence? For instance, were Miranda the romance option for a file. You could show the final clip of her romances: when they say "it's been a hell of a ride" prior to the credits. And it would be amazing to do the same for Jack - calling back to her remark about pulling Shepard out from the rumble.

Not sure if this has already been mentioned but in the credits for the mod during the Stargazer scene, I believe the word 'suggestion' was misspelled.


Again, loving the 1-2 combo of CItadel DLC and MEHEM. It's nice to know that the last 10 minutes of ME3 won't depress me anymore!

@MageTarot: Oh, you are right, sorry #bout that. That's what I get for always making videos in the early morning hours when I am too tired to deal with the game files. :)
Will be fixed in v0.4.

@Mr.House: Did you use the installer? Did you do a clean install? Do you run any other mods? Does the crash happen when Shep enters the beam (after Marauder Shields) or right after you get hit by Harby (before Marauder Shields)?
Try to use Origin to repair both the EC DLC and Leviathan. Then, run the installer again.

I'd known about this mod for a while, but I never actually tried it out until my second full playthrough, which I completed just tonight. And holy crap, consider me blown away. I just can't imagine how much work has gone into this. Sure, it has a few rough patches, but I'm seriously amazed that you've all managed to pull off all of the things you did. Awesome stuff.

And I'd also like to thank you. For the first time in a year, I can finally accept the ending of a trilogy that has influenced my life to an almost ridiculous amount. You guys gave me back the Mass Effect world that I know and cherish, and for that, you have my eternal gratitude.

Figired out the issue, it seems the TOKupdate borked and broke MEHEM while also making sure the picture mod worked. All i did was uninstall MEHEM, then installed it again and it worked.

OK, I was done with mass effect franchise, but today I played trough Citadel DLC (awesome) and finished the game with newest MEHEM. That is the experience I was hoping for a year ago. Excelent job Mr.Fob and the other contributors. Thanks to you I can not wait for my next trilogy playthrough (could not get my self to play ME1 and ME2 again since finishing ME3)
