Playing devil's advocate here, I don't see why you would need to cut that content. I think the bulk of the Citadel DLC should be played, as intended, before Chronos Station. Everything except the party scene and all dialogue references to the party. Then ONLY have the party scene following the game's credits (in lieu of the Stargazer scene). Instead of asking the player who he/she wants to invite, the game would just automatically invite everyone available. I think the most obvious point to end the game at that point is the group photo. A couple of minor "party aftermath" lines would be lost, but I don't think they would be missed.

Not to get too spoilery, but right now, the party is triggered in a conversation with Glyph. The game would have to be modified to delay executing that trigger until after the credits.

One of the upgrades is an accent wall. The texture could be replaced with reconstruction pictures, medals, thank you notes, etc.

More than on the party, personally I'd focus on the last cutscene of the DlC, the "it's been a good ride" one. Starting from that, making a scene with Shepard wearing civilian clothes, and showing some scars/bandage still on, his/her LI coming to snug near him. Outside the window there's not the Normandy, but we can see Earth and vague shapes of the other still damaged Citadel's arms. No dialogues, just the two of them with some bittersweet farewell music. That'd require some hudge modding though, both in textures, and programming for the whole thing. Just throwing out some ideas, even though I'm almost sure that'd be impossible to do.

I think that scene would be best left in Citadel Proper: You go on shore leave, you do the main mission, then shore leave is over, and the first time you return to the Normandy, your crew returns to the ship and you get that scene. It makes more sense. Two (or whatever) years later, your whole squad might reuinte for a party, but they're not all going to get back on the Normandy afterward.

I was talking about "cloning" and heavily modding the "we had a good ride" scene to make a good final shot of Shep and LI out of it, leaving the whole Citadel DlC untouched. But as I said I doubt it's possible. Just pure wishful thinking.

But, I actually think a party with everybody is better than a tender moment with your personal LI. That way it works for every player, and you don't have to make a new cutscene/video for every possible scenario. And that scene is already designed so that if you talk to your LI during the party, he/she makes it clear that he/she loves you. I suppose you could also include the "wake up the next morning next to your partner" clip before ending the game. Maybe you could even tweak that conversation to include the "It's been a good ride" "The best." line.

1. About the face healing process: I added an addition for v0.3 to the customisation thread to make the "healing" HEX edit work with the non-hugging scene as well.
2.About the randomness of getting the hug or non-hug scene: Please check the following (and this may sound strange):When you got the hugging scene, did you play all the way through from the beginning of the chapter (i.e. before Marauder Shields) without reloading a save?
And when you got the non-hug scene, did you load a save after getting transported to the citadel?
It would be helpful for me to know these combination.
hug or non hug and when was the last save loaded.
Also, did you romance anyone else in any of the games in the trilogy?
Don't ask me why, the game is doing strange things with the file loading some time and it would take ages to explain.
The fact of the matter is that I had to implement the LI thing a little "dirtier" than I'd like for several considerations. That's why I tested it for so long. For me, about 20 consecutive tests in row with different saves worked out just fine so I thought the issue was resolved but it looks like it can still occur.
Also, it would be good to get some more numbers on this. If people had a successful no-hug ending for Jack/Miri/NoLI, please let me know as well.

Eh a least with MEHEM its an ending I finally can play and feel satisfied ..which to me is most important.
Also I wanted to ask forgive me if this is rredundant and I missed something..How come only male Sheps get to see slides of Miranda and Jack, so they were his LI..
However, especially Jack..
My femshep whatched her grow and with her care saw her grow to be a positive force, as a teacher now..Also Miranda became a freind .. I think female Shep, should see, those two alive..somehow if it
possible..As far as I ..am concerned..Zaeed and Jacob could go, I never did like either one..then MIranda and Jack slides alive could replace them.. Unless the party came afterwards..then it would be fine..
Also watched the tralier, Showing Aria alive..THANK YOU!!!! She played a important role in my FemShepards life.and helping with the war, in her way...knowing she was alive was grreat, for I feel we became freinds after taking back Omega..Ok so I had a crush on her also..lets not tell Liara..
.I wish mabe they would have allowed in t]he Citadel DLC to at least allow you to invite her up to the apartment for a one on one..and Or a game at the arena, with her...

I'm working on a new installer FAQ for quick copy-pasting into this thread. Already paying off.
Problem: The installer didn't ask me if I wanted Geth slides. HALP!
Cause: MrFob has integrated the Geth slides directly into MEHEM v03. The game will recognize the Geth situation and show the appropriate slides.
Solution: Nothing. Everything's fine.

It's weird that you think it got worse because I didn't change anything there for v0.3 but I do see the problem. I'll fix it for v0.4 but if you want to fix it already yourself, extract BioD_End002_730MemorialGreen.pcc, open in a HEX editor, got to the offset 4A9BF2 (4889586 in decimal base) and change the next byte from 60 to 51. Save and reinsert the file -> problem solved.

I believe this is particular to the Destroy ending. For whatever reason, you only get Miranda/Jack slides if you romanced them . My own male Ashmancer did not get slides for either of them
Concerning Citadel: I haven't played through it yet, but personally, MEHEM's memorial scene is just right as an ending. It's a good mix of happiness, mourning, and hope. Reapers are dead. Shepard's alive, the galaxy is messed up, biut full of hope and possibility.

Over the summer I was trying to create my own ending by replacing the Breath Scene video with my own custom videos.
The new videos would be dependent on the LI. For the two I am showing you these are for the Shepard with no LI.
Basically these videos show/imply Shepard gets rescued and as a final send-off Shepard gives a speech and wraps up the Trilogy.
The Speech Shep gives is from the Refuse Ending, which I think someone in this Thread wanted to see the Refuse Speech used in an Ending Sequence or something.
Anyway here's the videos (Same video but for each gender).

Since there has been some talk/action on replacing/making new Ending/Epilogue content, I figured these videos might be of some use. Maybe they might inspire those who are working on Epilogue Content. Or at least they give you 22 seconds of entertainment.

I just loaded a save from right before Marauder Shields and this one had the healed face. And my no-LI Femshep hugged Ash.
