At least Mark should be open to the concept, he did act in a Mass Effect fan film...
Just wondering...
I like the current minimal dialog MEHEM ending. If you got the VAs to re-record the dialog MrFob painstakingly pieced together as one fluid take, that would be awesome. However, I don't think MEHEM necessarily needs brand new voicework. The simple hug at the end speaks volumes more than any dialog.
Not to mention, if you start recording different scenes depending on LI, surviving crewmates, etc, it becomes an awful lot of dialog, time, money, and...oh god...I sound like a Bioware dev.

Hale also was very supportive to the anti-ending crowd when everything started, while Meer even these days released an interview saying stuffs about keeping play Shepard at conventions and other for-fans initiatives. If someone wants to try to call them I can only say "go haead". Dunno about Joker nor the main LIs VA's instead. For them I'd be better trying to look out for people capable of doing some good impression. See the ones working on the Marauder Shields audibook... Liara and Tali in those ones for example sounds very very close to the originals.

If new voiceover was adopted to make the scenes flow more smoothly, I'd go with soundalikes.

I never thought it would make sense at the moment to involve them anyway (my line of thinking was along yours, wavion. Wait for the final, final version.
Still would be interesting to see what they think of MEHEM...

Also, forget kickstarter. I don't know why this keeps coming up around the forums so often (not here but especially in the S&C section) but kickstarter doesn't work for stuff like this. This is BW's IP. Even the free modding stuff is at their sufferance (technically, modding the files is in breech of the EULA). You start bringing money into this in any way (donations, kickstarter, whatever) and you can bet it won't last 5 minutes.
Oh, btw, I tried to contact some of koobarex's (that's the guy who makes the Marauder Shields comics) voice actors for MEEM last year but non of them seemed interested so sadly, that's not going to happen either. I have some ideas on how to improve some of the voice stuff for v0.4 though. Hope it'll work.

It's really well done. There were a few things that bugged me, but for what it is, I can't really complain considering all the work you've put into it.

@UNATCOHQ: I am not sure what exactly the Texture mod does but MEHEM in it's current form reaplces a file called PCConsoleTOC.bin in the Mass Effect BioGame directory. This file stores the size of every other file the game uses, including Texture archives. My guess would be that the Texture mod increases the size of some of these archives and updates the PCConsoleTOC.bin accordingly. However if you install MEHEM afterwords, that file is overwritten by the one from my mod, which is based on the original.
This can screw up the game. If you want,to run both, install everything, then try to downlodad the ME3Explorer and run one of its tools called "TOC.bin Upadter". This tool reads out the current file sizes of all your ME3 files and updates the PCConsoleTOC.bin accordingly. So if that is what causes the problem, running the updater when everything is installed might just fix the problem.
Of course, it might also be something else. Can't tell until I have a closer look at the Texture mod. If you do want to give it a try though, let us know if that solution works. Hope that helps.
About your second question, everything works fine for me with the latest version of the game.
later EDIT: And what wavion says.
Appreciate the reply.
I'll let you know what happens after installing and doing the TOC.bin Updater.
*UPDATE*:
It appears your solution of using the PCConsoleTOC.bin updater worked. It detected 170+ish changes and the game loads now.
Nevertheless, thanks for the solution, it works now .
Having the same problem right now and tryingthe same fix. Hope it works. This post should be linked in the first post or it should be in the readme of MEHEM. I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem. Would be a shame if people missed out on MEHEM because they cannot use it with other mods.

1. Install the game with all uptates and DLCs available
2. make a backup
3. install thr texture mod (I installed Saltisgood's mod)
4. install MEHEM
5. download and open MEexplorer --> choose: tools --> PCConsoleTOC updater --> then choose: "file" and navigate to your PCConsoleTOC.bin. (in BIOgame directory) --> wait until it finishes --> apply the update once it askes you.
6. Launch the game and have fun.
Note, I haven't pplayed yet, so I don't know about any issues while playing, I was just able to launch ME3 again, after applying the PCConsoleTOC update. Soyou might still run into problems, I don't know of.

^does it matter whether you install the *.mod files firs and then install MEHEM?
You should install MEHEM last, because, as far as I understand it, if you install MEHEM first and then the texture mod last, you will not be able to uninstall MEHEM, without uninstalling (parts) ofthe texture mod.

Finishing ME3 with the normal or EC ending left me feeling like I had my soul ripped out. But, the MEHEM made me feel like a bad-**** when I finally defeated the game. The new epic music only amplified this, helping me smile as I watched the Reapers fall and scenes from the galaxy.
You have restored my love for Mass Effect!
Thanks again,
Eric

It took me nearly a year to get to the point where I finally think about trying the MEHEM, the official endings destroyed the game that much for me and I had no desire to even think about ME. I just finished today, and from the bottom of my heart I want to say "THANK YOU MR. FOB...YOU ARE PURE AWESOME!"

I feel the same way. It's been a rough year for Mass Effect fans. MrFob has given us an anding that makes sense. It will always be my canon.

Haha. Fair enough! It's only a few minor criticisms anyway.
When Shepard says "Joker is that you" the total shift in tone/way of speaking is jarring. I think having Shepard just being silent for that line is fine. The "I don't know how...Joker...Go!" works though, but the earlier line sounds out of place.
The Joker rescue sequence also feels like it drags just a little bit. I think taking out some of it would help with the pacing. I don't think it's necessary to see the whole process as it happens.
And heh, yeah, the voice acting of the rescue pilots was kinda hard for me to understand, but I know that doing decent voice acting is damn hard to do. Maybe if there was a way to customize it, so people could do their own? Think of it like giving the community a chance to be the "rescuers" of Shepard. Everyone can record and insert their own rendition of the line if they so choose. I have no idea how the modding works in detail though, so I don't know how/if it would work at all.
Otherwise, I really enjoyed it. I look forward to whatever the future updates bring!
And of course, that's all my opinion, etc etc not trying to be a jerk. Just giving my two cents since I was prompted.

I was wondering if you had plans to do something with that Buzz Aldrin scene. I was never a big fan of that scene (I like Buzz but the whole scene comes across as creepy and urgggggh). Maybe replace the buzz aldrin video with a sort of "aftermath" video with someone narrating some cool stuff. Anyway just a suggestion.
I so look forward to what the future holds for MEHEM, but for now what I have seen from Version 0.3 it makes my heart soar. Now to have that party on the citadel 1 year later ;-)

@Scitenik: Thanks for the suggestions. Bierwichtel is right, we need feedback. As for your points:
1. (Shep VO): I agree that three is some inconsistency there and I am working on improving that for the next version.
2. (rescue scenes) Not sure what you mean, right now, we don't even see the rescue itself. You probably mean the battle scenes? Most people (me included) seem to like a bit of battle for the finale. I'm afraid, v0.4 may actually have a few more seconds of material there, not less (but just a few seconds really and I think most people will love those
3. (Cpt. Fob VO) I am planning on re-recording these lines for v0.4 to make them better. However, allowing the community to insert their own voices is technically difficult. At that point, I have to encode the sound directly with the whole video. It's no a single file and therefore hard to replace on the fly.
@The PC Patriot: As soon as I finish my current playthrough (probably in a week or two), I plan to work on a package which is meant to make it easy for people to replace that scene and (if everything works) will also allow for romance specific replacements.
