@Kesak12
Sadly this mod may never make it to the ps3 simply because of the huge technical problems involved with doing that
If it was me I would get the whole trilogy for pc. The series is under $60 if you get things on sale
@MrFob
how is the "replace stargazer scene" option regarding custom scenes made by fans gonna work?

Fair points! Like I said, they were just minor nitpicks. I know that working with all of this and the limited tools available has to be a huge pain in the drive core.

Oh, and yeah, I was referring to the battle scenes. Not a huge deal. The only thing that really stood out was the Normandy shuttle drop cause it was too calm in the background.

Lookin forward to the future updates! :)

@Kesak12: I am afraid cfs3corsair is right. Apart from the technical issues, even if we could do it, there are probably legal issues as well on the consoles (technically, they are already there on pc as well but at least there it's just up to EA/BW to let things slide. On consoles things get more complicated). In any case, we can't make it happen at the moment since - especially for ps3 - as far as I know, there are huge differences in the way the software works. Sorry.

@cfs3corsair: Well, depends on hot it'll worj out but ideally my plan is to release an archive, including modded memorial pcc files that are set up in a way, so that all the modder has to do is put a bink movie in the right place, copy the pcc into the EC DLC and the mod should be good to go. If I have time and if everything works out, I might even include a simple batch script that automates the process, I'll have to see about that though.
If we get really nice videos for all LIs, we could even make a real MEHEM Expansion, that installs everything automatically but that's further on, let's go one step at a time.

@Scitenik: Yea, the shuttle drop scene still looks a little out of place, doesn't it? Hopefully, We'll be able to improve that one as well.

Played the game through again and finished today with .3 being my ending. I see where some changes were made (the redness was taken down in the scenes copied from ME2 etc.).

Did I see a bailey/aria slide inserted there?

Good work. This is ending mod is the only reason I can bring myself to replaying the game. Wavion's installer makes it easier for me to recommend it to my non computer saavy friends.

I did notice in the memorial scene that Ashley had some creepy thing going on with her head. Like she had two faces attached to her body and the forehead of one was poking through.

Oh one more thing. I wanted to point out that I had a save at the top of the citadel in which apparently the game was patched before I could complete.  The scenes went all wonky on me and I had to shut down the game.  However, reinstalling the ending mod and restarting there (as I didn't have an quick way to get to the save at the start of the Cerberus base) worked just fine.

Ashley and Traynor are occupying the same spot. Do you have a custom Femshep/Ashley romance?

This problem was brought up a couple of pages back and MrFob posted a fix.

Your Ashley glitch may have been a one-off fluke.  I finished a run with MEHEM 0.3 a week ago and Ash looked fine (absolutely gorgeously perfect, in fact).  No glitches.  Are you running the game via Texmod and loading other textures too?  I did that and had a temporary glitch not too long ago.  Had to exit and restart (still using Texmod and the same textures) and the glitch had resolved itself.

Same thing happened to me when I first tried out v.3, Ashley looked weird when I got to the memorial scene. Miranda was my love interest and I'm not using any textmod alterations. After testing and repairing the files from origin, it still happened. Doesn't bother me much so I forgot about it, didn't realize there was a fix for it. Will try it out. Thanks! ;)

Interesting. Did you get no hug/Miranda and the Normandy in the end (like in my youtube video? I might have some idea why this can be happening in the case of a Miranda/Jack romance (although it shouldn't).
Will have to check it out.

@BDelacroix: Would be helpful to know what your romance was and if you had a Gibbet or otherwise modded game (aside from MEHEM of course). Cheers!

Yup, sure did. Only, Ash was there instead of Traynor though I think that's due to my virmire survivor survived my ME3 playthrough. I thought I read somewhere way earlier that if the virmire survivor dies, Traynor is there, but i might be crazy (hope not). I made a vid showing the memorial scene. It's no big deal to me really, if its something beyond control. Still happy with the mod. Image IPB

I've seen that weird shadow on Ash's face on that spot before too. Then another time I reloaded that same save and her face was normal.

Yep, that's definitely Ash and Traynor both being there in the same spot, clipping into each other. I take it that's reproducible since you could make a vid of it (thanks for that btw).
I'll try and fix it for v0.4.

I have just installed MEHEM with the installer all seemed fine however I am running the Ashley combat bun mod and when I try and have Ash in my squad I get to the armoury loading screen just after you choose your squad and the game crashes however if I load into a mission from a in mission save I loads up fine.
It only happens with Ash, other squad members are fine the files that are changed are: Bio_Ashley_01_Explore.pcc, Bio_Ashley_01.pcc, Bio_Ashley_00_NC.pcc, Bio_Ashley_00_explore.pcc, Bio_Ashley_00.pcc going into CookedPCConsole folder and PCConsoleTOC, PCConsoleTOC.bin in the BIOgame folder.  If I rember some of those Bio_Ashley_.... files are changed in MEHEM, any thoughts?

Did you run PCConsoleTOC.bin-updater via ME3-Explorer?

Because that seems to be the most likely culprit. MEHEM does not replace any of the meshes for Ashley, going through its files. Simply do the update with the files all in place, and it should be fine.

Which reminds me, has anybody here tried to contact Jenn, Aly, Mark or even Seth? Not to mention any of the other VAs...

At least Mark should be open to the concept, he did act in a Mass Effect fan film...

Just wondering...

Mark Meer is a really cool guy, if any of the VA's would do it, I'm sure he would.

Yeah, Mark Meer is great. If he has the time, I'm sure he'd be game.

Yeah. I Think so too.
Unless there is some legal issues that prevents him from lending his voice to an inofficial Mass Effect mod.

Well I don't really see the difference between mehem and something like red sand, at the end of the day they are both fan creations...

someone should contact gamermd, she interviewed him recently.

That is a slippery slope I think.

It's one thing to be in a Fan Made Live Action story/movie, in which he plays a Mass Effect character that is not previously tied to the trilogy or a character he has never voiced before...

...it's another to have him do extra voice work for a character that would instead be "part" of Mass Effect 3 but BioWare would have nothing to do with it.

I have no idea if there are contracts drawn up for this kind of thing (allowed to do impressions at Cons or panels but not other venues, etc.).  If Meer and Hale "can't" do it, then do not be disappointed or "angry" since it could be something completely out of their hands.

Just be cautious, just in case. :)

Yea, I think MrDbow is right. The other point here is that I don't really have much for Shepard to say. There are two lines of Shep that could be improved but I can do that even without a re-recording. Other than that, Shep doesn't have any lines in the mod. I simply don't see the need at this point.
Now, for MEEM, I'd love to have Mark Meer voice Shepard for MEEM. :innocent:

The less Shepard (or anyone else) says in MEHEM, the less likely a player's individual headcanon is disrupted. I think it's safe to say that no two Mass Effect players experienced the same story. With MEHEM as it is now, some of the more personal details are correctly left to the player's imagination.

Wow. I've just fully watched this for the first time on Youtube, but this is the only thing I want to say for now: The moment where Shepard puts Anderson's nametag on the wall is really great. This is what the original ending should've felt like.
