With MEHEM as it is now, some of the more personal details are correctly left to the player's imagination.

MrFob the Internet is yours! Now i want to play ME1-3 again....... Thank you so much for this that is the ending i wanted to see. Not a happy fluffy ending with cupcakes and unicorn's. Again thank you and i look forward to any new version's you bring out in the near future.

That is a slippery slope I think.

It's one thing to be in a Fan Made Live Action story/movie, in which he plays a Mass Effect character that is not previously tied to the trilogy or a character he has never voiced before...

I just wanted to point out that, in "Red Sand", he plays Jon Grissom, who plays a major part in the Mass Effect novels. It's not a new character, and it is one that is very much owned by BioWare, et. al.  This doesn't exactly contradict  what you said, but I feel it is an important omission.

Oh wow. After re-reading what I said, it does sound a bit Bioware-ish. :?

I agree with iakus, speculations can be good when your first questions isn't, What the **** was that?!

Same thing happened to me when I first tried out v.3, Ashley looked weird when I got to the memorial scene. Miranda was my love interest and I'm not using any textmod alterations. After testing and repairing the files from origin, it still happened. Doesn't bother me much so I forgot about it, didn't realize there was a fix for it. Will try it out. Thanks! ;)

Interesting. Did you get no hug/Miranda and the Normandy in the end (like in my youtube video? I might have some idea why this can be happening in the case of a Miranda/Jack romance (although it shouldn't).
Will have to check it out.

@BDelacroix: Would be helpful to know what your romance was and if you had a Gibbet or otherwise modded game (aside from MEHEM of course). Cheers!

I had 0 romance.  This is from an uninstall and reinstall then applying .3.  So no other mods either.  Weird things happen in these games (had one where Shepard went all exorcist on me with the twisty head and all).  Might have just been a one time thing.

I had the no hug memorial scene.

It does appear to be a Traynor head poking through.  I do wonder if it is just an artifact of me running from the citadel save just to see if it worked.  (Citadel save just after Elusive man dies rather than starting again at the Cerberus base).  Perhaps something didn't get setup right because of that.

wow, this mod was amazing, I was blown away that subtracting something from the ending added so much more to it.  I'm sorry to anyone who loved the other three choices but this one makes way more sense.
It was dumb that the destroy pulse affected all synthetics, I understand that the idea was based off of an electromagnetic pulse but most likely advanced synthetics would be resistant to that especially space fairing synthetics.  So whatever the destroy bubble/ray/pulse/whatever would have to be engineered specifically for the reapers.  maybe if it was a computer virus it would also effect the geth but a computer virus would be trite and ridiculous.
removing the star child was a brilliant idea, honestly I never would have thought about it.  I would have done what MEEM did, which is still a better ending explanation than Bioware's ending.
I fought hard to make sure Shepard lived at the end. If your going to have the main character live at the end of a trilogy then show them enjoying the fruits of their labor.  The MAHEM ending provided a modest amount of closure for me in this area.

the only thing I would like to have happen which is a long shot and I totally understand if you don't want or can't add it in is to ether have the game go to a galaxy devoid of reapers so you can finish up your quest or have it go to the title screen instead of before Illusive man mission.

I can rant much much more about how bad the origenal ending, and how good the MAHEM ending was but to summerize: loved your ending more, super glad star reaper kid was gone, loved the touching addition of Shepard adding the plaque on the wall and hugging the LI, just amazing.

Great work!

I omitted this because the novels are not relevate to the video game Trilogy nor Mark Meer since he is not tied to the novels.  Having people "playout" the characters from the novels is different because... well, go to any Con and you can see how many people playout those characters. :)

And sorry, back on topic -- go Fob go! :wizard:

So has anyone actually figured out the root cause of the ashley/traynor glitches??? Fortunately, that is the worst that can be said about v0.3 :)

Btw So... Was able to follow thread via ipad in spite of trip... But wasn't able to answer questions on YouTube vids because of said device, sorry 'bout that.
Get back in a couple days and everything goes back to normal

Thank you so much for MEHEM. You made the Mass Effect trilogy playable for me again. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I missed the Mass Effect Universe. This mod is the only reason I bought Citadel.

As far as getting VAs back for a mod, there would probably be a **** ton of legal hoops you'd have to jump through, it just probably wouldn't be worth the time and effort.

Yeah this is why I think if new lines do need to be spoken, use volunteers who can do a good imitation of them.

Or use technical wizardry :D

While I agree in principle, I've seen this suggestion a dozen times and have yet to see anyone say, "Hey, I can do a believeable Shepard imitation."  It's unlikely to find a good one for one of the Shepards, even more so for both.

Yeah such a thing would be based entirely on there being people both willing and able to do it.

But it's probably still easier than wrestling with lawyers :D

Yep, I think for the stuff that is really needed, technical wizardry it's gonna be. :)

@BDelacroix & cfs3corsair & Bierwichtel: I have got a couple of candidates for the cause of this. Probably has to do with how I implemented the Miranda/Jack/No romance video differences. It wasn't the most clean way to do it so I'll try and fix it that way. It's a bit weird that this would occur in some saves but not in others. Not sure why that happens.
I am pretty sure it really is Traynor glitching through there, at least in McBlade's case, which is in the video (which proves that Ash has a bigger head :)). I'll keep you updated on progress in fixing it.
Good point btw, Bierwichtel, would be interesting to know if anyone encountered this with Kaidan as well.

You would also be pulling from a VERY restricted pool of people: people who know what Mass Effect is, people who know what characters sound like (and have mimicked them), and perhaps people who know what MEHEM is, or know of BSN.

Perhaps hold some auditions?  Actually, there is someone named simongenius1 that does a Mass Effect cartoon called Spectre Status on youtube that has a really effing good Liara VA.

Casting Call here

Maybe someone can get a hold of him and ask who did who.  Only one I wouldn't suggest is his femshep, voice is too high.

there is always AV Voice changer software... (I rec'd this to CPTFob quite some time ago, dunno if he thought about it or not...)

It basically scans the pitch and levels (and a bit more :D) of a voice sample and applies this to any spoken voices...

@ruggly: I love your profile pic :D

Or y'know...ask Koobismo if he can loan his voice actors. Some are spot on like his Jack and Tali voice actress.

For whatever reason it blacks out after the crucible opens up. I have no idea what the problem is, for I haven't changed or done anything. The only new thing that I added to the game was the Citadel DLC. Nothing else. I downloaded the MEHEM installer, tried to uninstall MEHEM and reinstall it, with the help of the installer, but when I try to uninstall it, it tells me that there is no version of MEHEM installed anyways ... and when I try to INstall MEHEM, it says it failed to :/ any ideas as to what is going on?

@SteffiSyndrom: Citadel has no influence on MEHEM. If you have problems with the installer, the best way to go is to repair the game, EC and the Leviathan DLC via Origin before installing MEHEM. If your internet connection makes a repair of the main game infeasible, it is enough only to repair the DLCs (go to the ME3 game details on origin, right click on the EC DLC and click repair, do the same for Leviathan). However, if your connection permits it, it is generally advisable to repair the main game as well in order to make sure you have a clean install with clean backups.
Hope that helps!

As for the voices, again, there is not much to record anyway as far as I can see. I'd like to have one single sentence spoken by Traynor but that's about it (and even that is not really necessary) unless someone has good suggestions of course. As for the voice changing software, the affordable ones are usually not good enough to make a real voice change that doesn't have serious quality issues. However, I intend to use some similar software to improve Shepard's lines during the Joker conversation in v0.4.
As for Koobismo's VAs, I have said this quite often already, I already contacted thema long time ago and they don't seem interested in this project.

Fair points! Like I said, they were just minor nitpicks. I know that working with all of this and the limited tools available has to be a huge pain in the drive core.

Oh, and yeah, I was referring to the battle scenes. Not a huge deal. The only thing that really stood out was the Normandy shuttle drop cause it was too calm in the background.

Lookin forward to the future updates! :)

The shuttle drop? Don't worry. I've got that covered. I've got to watch this thread a bit more closely than I have been. Any change in length of anything or change in background is might require some scoring edits. I've got things pretty well timed at the moment.
