MEHEM - the Mass Effect (3) Happy Ending Mod - No more star kid, no more deaths and a reunion

The voice-overs are not perfect -- it's the levels; the voices themselves are quite good! The video splicing was pretty sharp. But you know what totally kicked ass?
1. The music. You cut to the theme from ME2 when the Crucible starts doing its thing, which is COMPLETELY AWESOME. That track opens in this sinister, chilling way and then goes full epic and it works -so- well. Then, when the credits start rolling--Maluka's _Reignite_! Perfect, amazing.
2. The whole memorial wall scene. I knew it was coming and it was still so unspeakably awesome to see my Shepard gathered with the crew. My favorite moments throughout the game have been the little reflective moments, and the embrace that you put in between Shepard and the LI right there at the end of it all was 100% perfect.
My hat goes off to you, MrFob, and to everyone else who has contributed to this mod. I can finally put this amazing fairy tale aside now that I've read its "happily ever after". When you all decide that the mod is good and done, I will happily play through the ending once more to revel in your terrific achievement.
Thank you for making the ending great.

I -finally- saw the MEHEM mod in action for the first time. I saw the trailers and I knew it was going to be great, so I started a full run through of ME3 with my first Shepard, who's been with me since ME1.

This says it all. Imagine what could be done if one had the resources and all of the stuff that Bioware has. The fact that fans did this just because the desire was there to make it better for other fans. This is what makes this community great and it's what's been lost in all the noise and dissent that was created for no reason.

This is a brilliant piece of content and it boggles my mind why Bioware didn't have something like this as an ending option.

I don't know, how the whole modding-thing works, but I guess that adding dialogue is considerably harder than adding new cutscenes, if not outright impossible.voteDC wrote...
Honestly the only thing I'd like added to the MEHEM at the moment is the extended dialogue between Anderson and Shepard when they are sitting, side by side, looking out at Earth.

I believe you pretty much got it right. Right now it is difficult to have the extended dialogue, sadly. However, as modding tools improve maybe one day, who knows?

I've now models for all the ships minus the asari and the crucible.
Has been a hard search and model conversion, but I think I like the results. Lets see

I'm not sure if I'm hyping it...
But it will probably require a lot of upgrades when out. I can see some mistakes on it, but surely you will see a lot more. No problem, I'll fix them as they are discovered

Dont worry you are not hyping, but you have to understand the community is interested to see the new scenes. Based of the samples you provided, things are looking pretty good
Lastly, mod is still in development, so mistakes are allowed

I guess this will help you, I released a patcher today, that removes the DLC auth check on the fly, so you dont need a crack anymore, I tested this on version 1.5.5427.124 with all patches/origin on and so on.

Does this mean that the ending videos no longer need to be the exact same length as the originals?

yeah, should work, but you will need to use me3ex's coalesced editor, as the format is different than in basegame

Then it's mixing, mastering, and out the door to Mr Fob. I'm glad I'm retired.

Lastly, mod is still in development, so mistakes are allowedStill looking forward to seeing Harby battle though. I think thats what everyone playing the series wanted to see/expected
Is normal, I suppose. Well, the samples I showed of the battle were pretty green, to be honest. The animation scenes were bioware's work, so I hope to give something worthy.
Nope, I hadn't. I've been recording another thing, and my personal time is near to zero lately (not only for this, for everything) but I hope to check it soon to change at last Cortez.
Thanks for the support. I have to admit that was after seeing koobismo's work when I said: "I have to do this!"
Kudos for him too.
