with all the work you're putting into this...
just out of curiosity, what do you do for a living...?
or are you among those fortunate enough who are able to CHOOSE to work?
my hat (not actually wearing one
) off to you...
there are actually no words to adequately express my R.E.S.P.E.C.T. to you...
I was medically retired 14 years ago. It's complicated. Let's put it this way, everything went through without even having to appeal. I have good periods and bad periods. It could be a lot worse. I'm 60 now. In 5 years I'll take my official retirement.
Enough of that....
I need to come up with some names. Names are important. I need to come up with a title for the battle music. It is not happy music. It is more scary, but we're rescuing Shepard. Coming up with names is difficult I could use some help here.....
* "Rescuing The Commander" ; "Shepard's Rescue"....?
Then the scene pans to the battlefield.... and there's a break in the music of about 20 seconds... the wave hits the reapes and they fall. And a new theme starts.... one of victory!
It starts as a march opening with a French horn solo, then goes into the theme Malukah uses in the chorus "I will always remember" around the time the first galaxy map just before the Asari and continues with that orchestration until the end. It can actually have two names, and probably should.
I basically used the theme I remembered from a cross of "Spectre Induction"'; "From The Wreckage"; and "The End" and did my own arranging of it, and changed a number of notes to make things fit the arrangement. I've always thought of this as
"Shepard's Theme." (melody by Sam Hulick Orchestral Arrangement by Me) So perhaps that's a fitting name for that section? What do you think?
But we still have to name my victory march....
* "I Love The Smell Of Napalm In The Morning" -- that was a joke.
