How about a line from the Anderson/Udina/Hackett conversation from the intro of Mass Effect 1? Bring it all full circle.
"What about Shepard?"
"
"Shepard's the best we've got"
Most of Mass Effect's songs have a vague title that still applies to the scene. See "A Rude Awakening" for the Lazarus Station in the beginning of ME2 for example. "Rescuing Shepard" or something similar is, in my opinion, too direct.

Also, is there some Bioware tool people can use to make these mods or is this a tech expert only field?

* "Rescuing The Commander" ; "Shepard's Rescue"....?
Then the scene pans to the battlefield.... and there's a break in the music of about 20 seconds... the wave hits the reapes and they fall. And a new theme starts.... one of victory!
It starts as a march opening with a French horn solo, then goes into the theme Malukah uses in the chorus "I will always remember" around the time the first galaxy map just before the Asari and continues with that orchestration until the end. It can actually have two names, and probably should.
I basically used the theme I remembered from a cross of "Spectre Induction"'; "From The Wreckage"; and "The End" and did my own arranging of it, and changed a number of notes to make things fit the arrangement. I've always thought of this as "Shepard's Theme." (melody by Sam Hulick Orchestral Arrangement by Me) So perhaps that's a fitting name for that section? What do you think?
But we still have to name my victory march....
* "I Love The Smell Of Napalm In The Morning" -- that was a joke.
I automatically thought of "Reaching Shepard" as a title but then realized it could be taken literally, like an image of Shepard reaching for something. Oh, well.
But sometimes, less is more: why not simply name it "Rescue"?
As for the victory theme, I was thinking something that instills a new hope for the galaxy: "Unity" or maybe "A Galaxy Triumphant."
Hope this helped. I cannot wait to hear what you've created!!

I know, it's a bit vague for those who haven't played the mod so maybe it's not such a good idea, just a suggestion.
As for the battle part, if it's scary, the title should probably reflect that. How about "Trials of Loyalty"?
ANyway, you know me and my naming skills.
@The Twilight God: Sadly, there are no tools from BW. However, modding is no longer as difficult as it once was. I am mainly using the ME3Explorer for this. An ever growing and evolving fan made modding tool. You can find many tips and tutorials here and latest updates and news here.
If you take a look around this section of the forum, you'll find that it is used for most of the modding that is done these days.
As for Miri and Jack. I haven't found a good way to do this yet. Replacing characters that are already loaded into memory is relatively easy, compared to loading other ones that are not even supposed to be in that particular level.

How'd "Trafalgar Square" sound for the preceding 'battle'-section?
By the time the laz0r is being charged, I imagine London being as infamous a battle-ground as Stalingrad, if not more so. Of course, simply naming it 'London' does not quite cut it, does it. So, referring to that particular local site, relatively close to where the short battle-footage is taking place before the red wave hits, itself named after a rather famous military confrontation, doesn't sound too bad to me.
The second part...a throwback to the briefing on Shepards from ME1 does sound nice, with a little alteration to it. "The only kind of person who could protect the galaxy." Hrm...

I have a question. I bought the mass trilogy game pack for the PC. My question is would I get banned from my Orgin account for using this mod? I really want to use this mod but I don't want to get banned.
SIngle player mods are fine. It's multiplayer mods that are a big no-no. So you're okay using MEHEM.

Pretty much this, for any game. Singleplayer mods are fine. Developers and Digital Platforms (like Steam and Origin) only tend to take issue with multiplayer mods that grant players an unfair advantage over other players.
For example, you're allowed to use MEHEM or a mod that changes armor appearance and singleplayer weapon stats. However, mods that change the stats of weapons in multiplayer or increase the amount of credits you gain per match are not allowed.

Less than 6500 downloads :-/ I can't help but think that so few downloads just show BioWare how much of a minority "ending haters" are. Despite the fact that many refuse to mod their game, or have just quit entirely.
6500 downloads in less than two months. More than a year after the game's release. And only for PC users on the BSN.
Keep in mind this is also available for download on masseffectsaves (and maybe elsewhere as well.. And imagine how many more there would be if this was available on all platforms.

You know on the section where Joker is flying away from that gaping bubble of space magic that looks like it is going to eat the ship? I've always called that the "plot hole from hell" or the "hole of suckage."
Is there any way of blacking out the bubble in that animation? Or are there any scenes of the Normandy flying that could be substituted since Joker is getting to the rendezvous point, and apparently has to set down on a garden world for some minor repairs. I even think the FTL "loading screen" would look better. lol.
But what do I know? Thoughts? Tell me to F off? Okay.

Well, MEHEM uses the extended cut version of scene (the one where Bioware retconned out the Normandy getting damaged). At this point in the ending we have already witnessed the wave destroying Reapers and leaving everything else intact. If you are viewing the scene from a fresh perspective, untainted by memories of the pre-MEHEM dark ages, you should have no reason to fear for the Normandy's safety.
As for the garden world, it's not in MEHEM, you must be experiencing more PTBE (post-tramatic Bioware ending) flashbacks.
It's all about context.
Pre-EC: Red Wave equals Galaxy extinction
Post-EC: Red Wave equals Genocide of allies
MEHEM: Red Wave equals Victory

Yeah in MEHEM, there's no garden world, and the blast never catches up to the Normandy.
So just think of it as Joker doing his own personal Unflinching Walk

Yeah, it's the PTBE issue. I'll get over it.

I was medically retired from video games due to PTBE. I still have nightmares.

I just purchased the Trilogy on PC and will actually be playing the game using the mod for the first time (have only watched the videos posted on Youtube previously). However, I was wondering how to go about changing the credits song for the mod. I do enjoy Malukah's Reignite a lot, but was looking for something a bit more upbeat, such as Amorphis - Sky is Mine (shoutout to LtRadczek for this great ME tribute using the song). It reminds me of M4 Part 2 by Faunts, and IMO it fits in so well at the end of ME3. Is there any guides you can share on how we can customize the credits song? I'm pretty sure I remember this being brought up before, but I can't seem to find out where exactly it was discussed.
Anyway, sorry for the long post. I really do appreciate all the hard work that is being put into the mod and just wanted to ask about the credits song. Keep up the amazing work!

I'll definitely stick with Malukah for the credits song though. I love that song and I think it fits the mod perfectly (in terms of the mood and the lyrics), not to mention that it was specifically made as a tribute to Shepard and Mass Effect. And since Malukah herself said that she is happy to have her song in the mod, I'll keep it there.
However, I am also happy for anyone to change and customize their games and MEHEM as much as they want to improve the experience. That's what the tutorials are for and I hope they are helpful.

Thank you. I love her song. I think it fits the mod perfectly, too. She's got an official song in the TES MMO now too!
