No problem, glad you got it working. Image IPB That mod adds a lot of immersion to the game.

And just wanted to say a HUGE thank you Mr.Fob and WarrentyVoider for the tutorials and instructions on changing the music on Shepard's cabin radio. For the longest time I've been searching for a way to do that with no luck until I came across the forums of ME3Explorer. The original tracks were okay, but nothing beats entering the cabin and hearing Vigil's theme. Many thanks you guys!Image IPB Now my new endevor is figuring out how to change the music in Shepard's apartment in Citadel DLC. I'm assuming the same method will work, just have to find the audio files. Thanks one again!

Guys, sorry for not being around much these days. Don't get to mod much either, I am afraid.

Little update here.

Thanks to BDelacroix, I have a working-pieced Harbinger. I have to test the textures yet, but looks promising.

Because of this, I can animate Harby soon and... ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL.

THIS HURTS YOU!!! I ALWAYS SURVIVE!

To everyone: I had a very productive day. Yes I worked .... whoa 6 hrs on it today. Time flies...

I'm just .. zoned out. Added a new instrument part. Cleaned up one section. And I'm just about done with the music part. This is really cool.

Just finished ME2 during my third playthrough and started up ME3. Can't wait to see what the new music and ending will bring.

Last I heard you were having trouble with the shuttle extraction part...

Check out the footage Commander Shattenjagger used for his ultimate ending video... His work isn't an actual mod, but it's damn good editing and the shuttle extraction part in particular you should incorporate.. Only fair since he's used your memorial wall ending sequence ; )

It's done really well!

@ Jadebaby: There is going to be version 0.4. I understand there will be some one for one swaps of a couple of scenes. Plus there will be a new sound track.

To all. The music is finished. I conducted the performance of the East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra last night in Seattle at Benaroya Hall. Their performance was flawless.

* I have to work on the ambient battle sound effect.
* I have to work on the reaper fall sound effect on Earth.
* I have to work on the reaper destroyer landing sound effect on Earth.

I have the battle sounds. No problem. Just need to mix and time a few key shots, and slap an impulse response reverb over them -- you'll love this.

The reaper fall isn't going to be that difficult. I've got the effects.

Then it's mix everything separately and together, and give MrFob the choice. He could line up the sound track with the reaper landing, and everything should fall in place.

I like that work. The guy looking for Shepared before the breath scene...is that a pull from ME1? Doesn't matter. That little sequence flowed nicely. And yes, he already snagged Bierwichtel's edit of the shuttle docking in the Normandy and other work in this mod. But I liked the incorporation of the breath scene and having that guy find him in wreckage. That was pretty sweet. Of course, dang it, there's no wreckage in this mod since we're spared the kid and that blowing up of something.

Just one guy'a opinion here:
Hey jadebaby that's some pretty cool fan stuff with mehem as an inspiration there. And yeah that rescue scene does have an epic feel it. But... I would not recommend using these exact scenes for a rescue scene for mehem for the following reasons:
1: there is going to be some confusion as to Shepard's location on the citadel; as first he was at the crucible control room (orange hue) and then the star brat's room that has a white hue and a giant energy beam running through it. Also brings back bad memories of starkid, haha
2: him surviving an explosion of that magnitude, while bleeding out, kinda leaves me doubtful
3: the me1 guy kinda interrupted the flow of things, plus it's a third room with a purple hue
4: a rescue scene is already being designed with custom animation and cgi.
5: to incorporate a new video into mehem; it actually isn't just a simple file swap in that sense of the word if I recall correctly. The new clip has to be a certain length and be at a certain fps (30?). Lastly, reorganizing the sound properly can also be painful.
Not meaning to be impolite or anything, but that's jus my opinion on the matter regarding this particular rescue sequence

Wow I'm really excited. If you have all the sound effects for the track as well that is quite good because implementing should (?) be a smooth-ish process. Hope I get to hear it soon :D

@Jadebaby: Yea, as Julia said, there will definitely be a v0.4 with extensive changes to v0.3. It will still take a while for it to be out though. I am want to include a lot of stuff in this and in about a week I am leaving on another trip and wont be back until early June. That's when i am going to start to work on my share of things in earnest.
Also thanks for the link. That video has been around the forums for a while now. I saw it (although without sound so far). IMO it's great editing work. I especially like how he slowed the Normandy battle scene and inserted some bits from other clips. All i all, it uses very similar scenes in the end though (did I spot the color corrected thanix cannon from ME2 in there ?:)).
I am definitely not going to insert scenes from the old catalyst chamber since we have an extraction scene from the control room by now (and given that Julia is working on a soundtrack that is very dependent on timing, I am hesitant to do major changes for this particular part of the scenes at this point).
Anyway, all in all, I think it's a great edit. Kudos to the author.

@IHJ: I'll try an end you the changed citadel model before I leave. I hope it works out with the uv maps.

@cfs3corsair: About the ETA for v0.4, see above. Sorry but I am very hesitant to give definitive ETAs because it very much depends on what's coming up in real life for me (and now also for all the others who are contributing). So the only thing I can tell you is that I things will start moving in June and we'll take it from there. I will try to update this thread on a regular basis though, once there is more to tell.

@Mdoggy1214: Hey, nice to see you again. Yea, check out Iakus' links and the OP (it's got change logs) and also this very post. :)

That answers my question plenty, thanks. I was just trying to get a feel of where things are at here, thats all. Good luck with the modding in June!! Hopefully IHJ will be done his section of the animations, and have all the voice acting by us volunteers done by then. And of course there is Shotgun Julia's sountrack, and other stuff. v0.4 will be something to look forward to

Yea I never meant to incorporate anything from the Cat Chamber, I just meant how he had the Normandy scene where the shuttle falls out and then EDI saying "re-establishing connection".. It just flowed really nicely and could be used instead of that scene where you have Joker saying "better get down there" to Shepard in the Normandy, just because you can see Shepard standing there.. that little clip is probably the most jarring in the mehem ending.

@Julia: I'll have to insert the music into the game itself as a music track, so that it will play continuously while different videos are loaded and played (using this method). The voices (and sound) have to be encoded with the videos and as such, the sound engine of the game recognizes them as sound effects.
The final mix will have to made by testing it in game and figuring out the best volumes at each state of the video by trial and error (a very tedious process, which is why I have not really perfected the sound mix of the video so far)
One more issue is that the music is subject to in-game triggers (such as changes in volume) which we cannot control. However, the ending music seems to be free of those triggers for the most part so there shouldn't be too may problems there. It would probably be best if at some point you could send me an example track (even if it is unfinished) so that we can already have a look at the timing and make sure that everything works well together.
Unfortunately the final test has to be how things come together in game. This makes things a bit more tedious than if it were just video editing but we should be able to figure it out.

@Jade: Yea, I hope that Bierwichtel is still on the videos. We had a really nice plan for the shuttle dispatch scene. If it comes together the way we planned it, it'll be way better than what we have now (and very different). I'll have to get back to Bierwichtel first though. As for EDI, I only saw the scene there without sound but I thought this was exactly the same as in MEHEM v0.3, actually. But I might have to get back to it with sound to see the difference.
