I'm on the end of third video stage, one more to go and I will coordinate with Cfs3Corsair with sounds. In this point, I will make a call for all VA's that asked me some weeks ago (I have them listed), in order to voice missing roles.

For sure, I will have:
(Effects pending)
-Quarian pilot (female)
-Quarian captain (male)
-Turian captain (male)
(Non effect, but radio voice)
-Salarian pilot
-SSV Magdeburg captain (if Bierwichtel does not want to VA at the end, that is almost sure)

I will report soon. I expect to have first beta for devs this week!


I'm pretty sure I can pull off a Salarian. :)

I felt the same way. That's why my first mod was this. ;)
Sorry I got to bring that up every time I get the chance. I just think it's a much more neat way to wrap things up than MEHEM. :)

@spockjedi: Thanks for eltting me know. Unfortunately as you can see that bug has been bothering quite a few people (I still wonder why it never happened in my test runs with As h for v0.3). I changed a few things in my latest test version nd I hope it'll be fixed in v0.4.

@Pathetisad: We need some testers for this. We do need people however who do have both, the PC and the xbox version of the game and who don't mind screwing around with files a lot. In the current stage, I just need to know if this works at all (the mod would still crash on the xbox, I can say that for certain, see my second post in the linked thread). If we get that far though, I can try and create a version that might just work on consoles but since I don't have one myself, I can't really help with the technical aspects of the conversion. I hope exeider is still around to advise on that, once e get dedicated testers. I got a message from someone on youtube recently who might be interested. However, I suggest to keep this topic to the me3explorer forums as much as possible. I am happy BW lets us mod the PC version without a cease & desist. I could imagine things get more complicated on consoles.

After a long argument with EA, it seems that they figure all Origin related problems are the result of "tampering" by the end users. Obviously this is not an accurate conclusion, but it seems the bug will not be cleared up. In short...
Download your default EC. Then make a backup. Then you can install whatever versions of MEHEM you want by using the backup when needed.
Glad I did this before this whole fiasco :/

Just finished the mod for the first time and to be honest I wasn't expecting that much given what I'm sure are the immense difficulties in this kind of project (It's just I've discovered I dislike having glowing multiple choice questions haphazardly welded onto the end of my games in lieu of an ending)

However, I thought it was excellent. I was surprised how well it works with the active part of story ending with Anderson and Shepard on the Crucible, and your continuation from there tied up the story nicely, and went on to give a suitably satisfying summary of what happens now. The pacing was good, it felt like a logical end, and the sound and animation worked well for me.

Anyway, I'm a bit late to the party and I'm sure it's been said on this thread many times before, but great job, very impressive.

What did you expect from the company voted "Worst Company in America" for the last 2 years?

Had the person bothered to load up Origin with ME3 installed and test for themselves, they would have seen that you were telling the truth and passed the bug report onto the developers.

Didnt expect any progress really. Still, I never ceased to be amazed by EA incompentency. How did they become a multimillion dollar company again with these horrible policies?

Hey, question to everyone: Does anyone know if it is possible for Engineer Adams to die anywhere during the game? I found some dialogue lines in the game files that indicate it is but I am not sure if this is not just cut material. Or is it possible fir him not to be on board the Normandy at the end? If anyone know a definitive answer to this, please let me know.

Also, EA and their service is unbelievable (regarding the Origin issue). Well, it can't be said often enough: Backups!!!

@creapsmantic: Didn't have any trailers panned really. I'll put up new video material when v0.4 is ready though and then there is always IHJ, we'll see what he has up his sleeve. May still be a while though.
As for your second question: I already encoded the music for MEHEM at max. volume. The game is using a very low volume sound mix over all and the other problem is that music has triggers in game which tune it down when there are sound effects which the devs wanted to be prominent, a system I hate personally, it's especially obvious when Hammer rolls out of the London FOB. I want to hear the epic music not MAKO engines ... but I digress :). There is not much I can do there since these triggers are encoded in a way so that we can't read them out and modify them atm. The only thing you can do is put the music volume to max, slide everything else down and then increase the master volume level on your pc. It's going to be a strange mix as well though. You can also try to change low and high range in the audio options but it didn't do much for me in th end.

I don't think so. He never died in any of my ME3 playthroughs (3), and there is no mention of it on his Wiki page:

Also a youtube search for "mass effect adams death" doesn't yield any relevant results on the first couple of pages.  Between those two sources, SOMEBODY would have mentioned/shown it.


They probably intended to let him die if you didn't buy the Thermal Pipe for him, but never got around to implementing it. They were too busy working on the ending adding multiplayer support.

^ I believe there were plans for a possible death for Adams in one of the early drafts of the script (part of a scrapped "Uber-Suicide Mission" scenario, which also included a Joker/Cortez pilot choice for the shuttle to the Cerberus Base), but was never included in the final release, so no there's no way for Adams to die on-screen in the game.

Well, salarian voice is already done, sorry. I'm looking on whats missing after the last updates :)

From what I am reading, embedding apparently is a no-go on the forum.

Typos:

The Mightiest Enemy (small one, true)

Only few stand in its way.

Those few

Will give their all to stop it

An Enemy they cannot hope to defeat

To hold the line.

(I think keeping it simple here comes across better, overall)



Other than that slower, straighter movement of Harbinger would look better - movement of him and crew looks slightly too hectic, compared to what we saw of Reaper-movement in cutscenes -, as well as darkening the picture somewhat so it's more in line with the stock cinematics of the battle.

That said, quite the achievement, and as you said, VO is a WIP. :lol:

if possible try to mod / edit harbinger lines to make something new so they wont feel out of place or boring
