Yeah, it is kind of odd, the whole memory wall scene takes place takes place some time later not right after the crash => No reason for Shep to still beeing messed up.sH0tgUn jUliA wrote...
I was serious about the bloody bruised face thing, though. Is there no way of getting rid of that, really?
Priority list:
1. Care for the wounded (including shepard)
2. Fix Normandy
3. Put Anderson on the wall

I find it no more odd than the VS's bruised face while being treated at Huerta Memorial.

At this point it seems to me to be like complaining that your caviar is too cold or that your porshe 911 is slightly less blue than you'd want it to be.

Well, Fob gave me instructions on swapping the body model, so I'm cool.

its very odd the way he/she says it with fem shep or just a new game shep
the character says Perfect ... i think
could this be patched please for the next patch ? .. its just one word ...
with a imported shep they say " Harbinger " ... they say it like they dont care
with a new game shep they says Perfect like a cause for concern

I'd use something like this as a final version (apart from the audio, which is still missing) unless someone sees something wrong with it. Let me know if you can find mistakes, oddities, etc. Thanks.

The real reason is of course that I am still trying to camouflage the optical tricks I used to set this up but don't tell anyone.

Well, it's a combat drop in the middle of a battle. I am sure they'll try to do it as fast as they can, safety protocols be dammed.

Amazing. I'm getting mad with the camera shake right now xD
I can't get it working, seems weird
I'll give another try tomorrow...

Looks good. Ironically I'd say you could maybe even get the shuttle to launch out but then really blast away from the Normandy in a power turn. But really, visually, this should work as it is already.

I like it very much!
If Joker can land a Mako in 20 meters (Ilos) then he can damn sure get a shuttle away in a heated battle to pick up Shepard.
I like what you are doing here - and the fan support. It is in keeping with the spirit of a true fan - the will to face the odds, and see Shepard through this horrible mess of a war.

That looks better. The dead stop look from before isn't there.
You might get the illusion of increased speed or a power boost if you extend the exhaust on the shuttle just as the camera pans around leaving the Normandy out of view. Your imagination will fill in the blanks, fooling you into thinking the shuttle just got faster even without actually doing it.

I agree with you there, bro. Its a shame the developers never really got into the game, the emotion, or the fun that they created. Its all about cash to them - because they certainly could have created a game with at least one 'good' (read: win) ending. Instead they pushed the hype, drummed up the 'take back earth' and all of that mess, but failed to deliver. Its easier to just lie, beef it up as great, and then cheap out as much as possible. Its the last game in the series, so why make it great, right? Its not like we can send off our hero with a fond farewell.
This is what you get with talentless pukes are promoted without merit. You get writers that suck and do terrible storylines and plots. You get developers who are out of touch with what made the game great. You get starchild. Build the giant robots of doom a battery - and in their sudden newfound love of organics they will let you choose how to kill them all. What a great idea! Seriously - the ending is the most appalling POS I have ever seen.
But that detracts from this thread. This thread is about what fans love - and what Mr. Fob has created. Its about doing things better than the devs and writers can do. Its the love of the game that makes this happen. Sure, the MEHEM isn't what every single person wanted - no blue children with Liara or finding Miranda; at least Shepard lives. The rest we can imagine. After all, Heros never die. They just fade away.

This looks really great. Nice how you concealed the hangar texture with this light blurr and the focus on the shuttle.
The only thing I'm missing at the moment is the stars in the background. But this could also be because of the relatively low resolution (720p) on youtube.
I'm really looking forward to see this scene in its final incarnation.

Just a few notes:
- I messed up one trigger in the version I uploaded, the alliance fighter actually gets hit by the occulus (but keeps on flying). Shall be fixed.
- The Normandy still is a bit buggy while flying towards the camera (the colours vanish for a fraction of a second there). No idea why this keeps happening, so not sure if I can fix this.
- @IHJ: Emailed you about the shakes.
- @Deager and BDelacroix: Hmmm, maybe I'll try to just increase the lens flare of the back engines for half a sec to give the impression. Good idea, thanks! BTW, the dead stop is still there, it's just camouflaged by the zoom in on the shuttle and the Normandy rotates very slightly. It's all tricks and cheating.
- @Spruso: There are actually stars in the background. However, they are very dim and out of focus (because that's what BW does in their cutscenes as well). You should be able to see them in the opening shot though. BTW, 720p is the resolution that is used for all videos in game as well but the quality is still going to be slightly better in the mod since youtube always screw up quality during the upload, no matter the resolution.
Otherwise, it's on to the next scene. At the pace I get to work on this atm, unfortunately it takes about 2-3 weeks to get something like these 30 seconds together. Here is what it looks like in the editor:
