Sir, Captain, sir, (lol), I have a better solution then: why not replace "suicide misson" with the following combination:
1) Right after the "pause": aralahk company (starting at 2:10min) until the end of it;
2) Right after the end of Aralahk Company, which should coincides with the crucible starting the explosion plays "A future for the Krogan" (from the very beginning) and plays until the ending of the song... (this way, the first "turn" on the song will coincide with the first reaper falling on earth, and the effect is amusing!) :-)
3) Remains silent until the beginning of hackett narration and, following it, the music stays as it is in the current version.
Hope you find the results good enough to replace the current music, because "Suicide Mission" despite being great is too mass effect 2...

Heck, I can even justify it to myself: with high EMS, the Crucible does just what the designers wanted and kills the Reapers. With lower EMS, Starkid has to come out and get input (and the Destroy option isn't sophisticated enough to distinguish between Reapers/Geth/EDI.)
Just to clarify, I apply this to individual saves? Because I have a few Shepherds (those I think will choose Control, those with low EMS, etc.) who I'll want to have the original ending. And how early (pre Cerberus base, pre beam, on the Citadel pre Illusive Man?) would I have to apply the mod? It'd be awesome to have an in-game console or something to select it, but I imagine that's too technically difficult.
In any case, thank you so much for taking the time to do this (and having a Leviathan fix for my birthday--N7 Day!)

Could have less space combat collage, probably. But that's not so bad. And also - I doubt it's possible to do anything with injured shepard, unless there is a way to unflag him into "normal" state somehow.
I could miss it - but does this fix include no-EVACNAOOO? If there's anything i'd really like to fix - it's that stupid scene, which had only purpose - to explain last squad in a jungle.
Probably, that's another mod that many fans would be greatful for...

It doesn't work with the ending, it replaces it completely. No starkid, no stargazer, no control, synthesis or lame breath scene. Pretty much everything that makes the original ending so bad was taken out. And like all mods it's exclusively for pc.

I did, but I don't have FRAPs or any other video recording capability on this computer. It was recently reformatted, and I reinstalled ME3 for this particular mod. Custom FemShep seems to work pretty well.

The hug isn't actually that bad in terms of clipping. It's the distorted facial animations for Garrus iMO that were the problem. Harder to take the scene seriously when Garrus's face contorts like silly putty to match EDI's facial animations

2 - When the Normandy lift off after you called the evac for you squadmates in the shot where it looks like Harbry is staring the Normandy he says somenthing like "irrelevant" (which can be easily ripped-off from his ME2's battle taunts). So that it doesn't look so silly that he just don't even try to shoot at the ship.

3 - In the moments of blank screen between Shepard being almost hitten by the Harbringer's blast and him regaining consciousness and seeying Harbry leaving you put an "YOU HAVE FAILED!" or so.
There are enough dialogues in ME2 to do it, and you'd need only to rip them off and eventually adding som environmental distorsion effect (like BW did with the Rannoch Reaper) to give to Harbry a more thundering tone, since this time is there in his true form and he's not speeching through some minion. I don't know if it's doable, but it would be really, really awesome in my opinion.
Just ignore the whole post, though, if you think it'd be just another pain in the butt you don't wanna deal with. You're doing already a great job Fob

I followed the directions step by step. I then started a new game and breezed through it as fast as i could (which meant the bare minimum EMS). I got to the part where Anderson dies from blood loss, and then Joker radios in Shepard instead of Hackett. At this point the mod looks to be working. The citadel arms open and then fades to black. The new music for when Joker begins his rescue for Shepard starts, however the screen remains black.
Nothing's happening. The music continues for a few seconds and then stops. All i get is a black screen. I hit ctrl+alt+delete. Mass Effect 3 is not responding, the game crashed.
Help?
EDIT: See i knew i would have problems. I have the worst luck with mods. But here's some more info if it helps:
1. I do not have Leviathan installed.
2. I used a customized Male Shep who had very low EMS. My LI died during the beam rush.
3. I installed the mod before i began a new playthrough.
4. I reloaded my save again at The Return, and i got the same thing. Joker radios in, Shep collapses, so far mod works. Then the arms open, fades to black, music starts, game crashes.

I had started several playthroughs but never got past Anderson's "I'm proud of you" speech. I saw the endings on youtube and decided Starchild and Synthesis (god I hate synthesis) didn't belong in my game.
Btw, the couple of spots I saw the IGN logo was when Joker said "sh!t" and another segment afterward when he said "come on."

I made a unique Shepard back in ME1, it somewhat looks like me. (I did my best considering how hard it was in ME1). And I imported him into ME2 and now ME3. I'll post a little nice vids on myself when I get to it. (I'm a lazy bastard^_^)

Cool. Although right now i'm having problems with the mod. It keeps crashing as soon as the Citadel Arms open. I'm not sure why it's doing that.

Only problem i got, is that i saw the old normandy running, where it gets damaged. I know it has been already discused here but I can´t find it. What did I do wrong?
I´d like to ask:Do you have any plans for stargazer scene aswell?

That's even too much chatty. I'm more for a few but strategically placed lines than for Harbry recitating all his old battle taunts while Shepard runs to the beam.

It will run but it will not fit in very well. E.g. Hackett will still call you on the citadel instead of Joker, the videos will be in english no matter what and during the memorial, you will hear EDI's VO from the synthesis endings. We'll prbably do translations eventually since I already got offer of help for Spanish, French and I can do it myself in German but bug fixing comes first so it may take a while.
P.S.: Yes, all the telemetry is from the destroy ending, just the memorial is from synthesis but that's irrelevant to the game AFAIK.
@Greylycantrope: Thanks for putting the list together. There is also a Custom MakeShep with Kaidan out there.
@Mims: In the end, I am not even sure if my plan for routing the player into different memorials will evne work (I anticipate a number of problems there actually). I guess I'll have to wait and see how it looks in the end.
@Lyncoln-Ap: Thanks, I'll try these suggestions out. I am a bit skeptical on Hackett's music because we have just heard it like 1-2 hours before in the game. The "Future For the Krogan" theme, while it is my favourite track in the whole trilogy has the same problem as the Suicide Mission: It is very distinctive and made for one specific application (the Krogan and the Genophage). While at least we never heard the SM theme in ME3, this might be a bit too close. I'll see however, thanks again.
Oh and I am not on the SSV Nuremberg at the moment, so MrFob will do
@Nrieh: Not quite sure what "no-EVACNAOOO" is referring to. If you are talking about Gulliver"s Jungle planet crash, that scene is cut. The Normandy remains in space.
@barbara2012: This mod works only on PC for now (and I think console ports are not too likely). And as Robhuzz said, it's one ending now.
@Alienmorph: That is a very nice idea. Not sure about putting in new dialogue ( technically difficult) but we should be able to cut one of Coates' or the mysterious female's lines when SHep wakes up and put Harby there at least.
@Mdoggy1214: Are you sure you replace the files End02_Cit_Flower.bik in the main game directory? This issue sounds like it may still be the old one. Also, If your game got updated after installing the mod, that file might have been overwritten again. After Shep passes out, do you heat the breathing with the citadel fading from black or does it fade from whit (like in the original? If you see the white face without the breathing, try to reinstall the mod (just repeat the instructions, no need to restor backups or anything for a re-install.
I do not see why this problem should occur with low EMS but I have to admit, I had no chance to test the mod at low EMS yet. Hope it helps. Kepp me updated on that issue please, I'd like to fix it if I can.
@MOrrf3usTHEbEST (god, I just spelled that name out myself without copy/paste): This is a known issue, if you use a save in which you passed the Cerberus HQ mission without having the EC installed (probably an old save of yours from back in March/April). For the mod to run correctly, the EC must be installed before you start the Cerberus HQ mission. You can use an after-ending save to start there again. That will work.
