Just an idea; hope it's not something that you've had to answer too many times before.

Am also curious about how to accomplish this for the v0.4 release (since I can't find the original instructions on how to remove the injured textures).eric2465 wrote...
MrFob, I can't wait to download this tonight. One question though, do the previous instructions for using MEexplorer to replace Shepard's injured face still count, or must something different be done.

Asked that same question in a round-about way a couple pages back, link to the me3explorer thread is here btw.

I got to go through the customisation list this weekend and check it out but not that I can think of from the top of my head. It should all still work. I'll upload a package with the files themselves in a day or two.
Of course, trial and error-ing that on our ends should do as well.

I would like to say a big thank you to all of the people that contributed to this mod. This is so much what I wanted to see at the finale of this great trilogy. I can only imagine the amount of effort you guys put into this mod. The quality you have achieved is incredible; it all fits so seamlessly into the game.
Thanks again for delivering a coherent and rousing conclusion to the series.

The new scenes ruin the pacing of the ending somewhat, it feels that bit too long now. The new scenes while really well done act like an anchor to the pacing.
While I'd be happy to sit and listen to the new soundtrack because it is really good music, I don't think it ever really suited what was happening on screen. It felt a bit sedate considering the action that was taking place. During the activation sequence I thought the music sounded like it belonged in a Final Fantasy game rather than Mass Effect.
I hope I'm not coming across as ungrateful because I really do think you guys are doing great work with this mod but I will be rolling back to v3.

Now it really makes sense to spend 200 hours on this saga XD
And also I wanted to express a small opinion, also addressed those who do not approve of the changes to a digital work:
I believe you took more time and dedication you to achieve this mod, the programmers of the EA to carry out the final "original" XD

Is Perfect.
Absolutely Perfect.
I SO MUCH wish that there was an ending like this. What an absolutely brilliant editing job you guys did. I can honestly say, that if this was the "true" ending for Mass Effect 3, then I would be very much OK with it.

@eric2465 & AVPen & Chashan: I confirmed that the procedure for healing Shepard has not changed. I am 99% sure this is also the case for the rest of the stuff that I wrote in the customisation thread (can't speak for the others, really). I guess, just try it out and if you do run into trouble with anything, let me know here or on the ME3Explorer forums. (Also let us know if it does work. It's always good to get confirmation on these things).
@RPGenius: That's a great idea. Why didn't I think of that before? We'd need to get nice slowmo videos from ME1 Ash and Kaidan I guess. It might also be tricky to get in because the epilogue slides are particularly difficult to mod b ut I think it can be done. One more thing for the to-do list for v0.5 (see, that's why I have a hard time calling it 1.0
I should also say at this point, Poly Morph (whi made the new Miranda Mass Relay slide) just sent me another new slide, about five minutes after I finished uploading v0.4. Bad timing but it will be in v0.5 as well.
@cfs3corsair: Thanks for uploading!
@voteDC: No problem. It's why I didn't take the v0.3 installer offline. I will say though, that technically speaking, v0.4 is about 15 seconds longer than v0..3.
But I know what you mean and I hope you'll enjoy v0.3.
@iLeo88: That's google translate? Dam, must have come a long way since I last used it. Anyway, ti ringrazia per il tuo commento.
@MrDbow: Thanks. Yea, the low EMS ending was the main body of work for me in the last 2 months (see my post on the last page). It goes best with one of the new emails you'll get at some point during the game.

http://mehem.redston.../MEHEM_v0_4.zip if you want a direct link.
When looking for a suitable background image, I found one using google from Mr. House. I hope he doesn't mind but if he does, I'll remove it.
The site includes an MD5 checksum if you wish to check on it.
If you have windows, there is a link to a md5 checksum gui also.
Please let me know if the file is broken in some way. It took a long time to put it up through ftp. It stopped once in the middle (glad someone invented ftp resume way back when).

I haven't tried running anything yet. Spent all day running errands and fixing up the download site.
I have Deager's citadel mod installed as well. I did not uninstall that before uninstalling v0.3 and installing 0.4.

Glad to be of service, but it might not even be as hard as you're saying. I mean, think about it--if I recall correctly, pretty much ALL the teammates in the game have the slow-motion death clips in the game, right? And if you play ME3 and get to the point where Ashley or Kaiden is "protecting" the Council from Shepard, you CAN kill them then and there. If an otherwise perfect Shepard were to do that, I imagine that Bioware must have already created a slow-motion scene for Ashley and Kaiden for that occasion, yes? I may be wrong, but I think that the scenes are already there in the game, so it'd be more just you putting in some kind of flags or triggers or whatever (I don't know crap about programming, can you tell?) that trigger the This Person Is Dead clip for whichever one was left to die in ME1. That may still be tricky, but at least it wouldn't mean having to make the slide itself, right?

@RPGenius: Yes, these videos do exist but if I were to implement this, I'd try to do it differently. I guess Kaidan would be ok but especially for Ashlay, I'd want to get a video from ME1 for her since she looks quite different in ME3 and a player who lost her on Virmire wouldn't even know her new look. In any case, the modding difficulties I was talking about don't refer to the videos themselves. It's more about implementing the conditionals that decide whether or not the game should show these videos. We'll see. I'll definitely give it a shot when I start working on v0.5.

The Normandy Crash Site dlc in ME2 did something quite similar. The player was treated to a quick snapshot of Ash/Kaidan while exploring a piece of the original Normandy wreckage.

i've not played already V0.4,i'm currently on ME1on my new computer, but i've seen the result on youtube, and wanted to give a big thanks to M.fob and all the team who has worked on this project, great work really, this V0.4 add a lot of scenes and we see better why joker is the best pilot, the rescue scene is more developped, you give us what the destruction end should have been if bioware had the same quality level of their older games, in my opinion,it's now really worth to finish ME3
amazing job and thanks a lot for all the time you and all the team took to give this to us

Having said that I still prefer the high ems ending (my femshep is getting her little blue children no matter what) and the work you and the guys/gals have done on the new cutscenes is absolutely fantastic. To everyone that worked on MEHEM thank you so much for creating the mod.

The couple seconds of the Normandy's departure from Virmire, with the quite unique blast in the background could do for either, really.
Maybe with a bit of slow-motion as needed for dramatic effect.
Another thing that's not necessarily related: has a drastic amount changed regarding DLC-Editor with newer versions of me3explorer? I haven't used it in a while, but now exporting and importing files doesn't work smoothly at all anymore on my end. Tried to roll back to unedited .sfar of Leviathan and reapply some of the things in the customization-thread, to no avail. Leviathan at least has a very much changed file-size after the procedure and doesn't get past authorization in the game. DLC Editor 2's checking and rebuilding option wouldn't work either.

Please post the uninstaller log. Run the uninstaller till it says it's done, then right-click the text window and copy to clipboard. Then post here.

If nothing else, here is a link to the ME3 DLC unlocker executable. It replaces the MassEffect3.exe file and will run the game regardless of what you've done to the DLC(s). ,Link removed as per MrFob's request. Instead, do a search for ME3 DLC unlocker. It allows a modified DLC (such as mesh mods, etc, that substantially change the size of the files) to work. I've had to use it to make some of my mesh mods work, unfortunately.

I'll be honest, I didn't really like it. Why? Because it's now what I expected. Judging by the comments I thought it was more of an "expansion" than a "fix". I was expecting an extra postcredits scene or something. Getting rid of the spacechild was great, but other than that I found it very similar to the EC. But again, the reason for this is mostly that my expectations were different.
But that's not reason to not recognize the great job MrFob and everyone working on this mod have made. I really appreciate what have they done, the hours they've spend trying to make the game we all like better. So thank you guys.
I'd like to post acouple of things that I've done differently, have in mind that this is my opinion on how to improve it, nothing else.
-It's a pity there weren't subtitles for most of it, and when they appeared, they were a bit messed up (On screen Admiral Hackett when Joker's speaking). I don't know how difficult may it be to implement that, but it'll be a nice adition.
-Some of the music felt out of place, especially the epic theme when the crucible's beam spreads on the galaxy.
-Shepard's face is bruised and bloody when putting Anderson's memento. Again, this may be hard or impossible to change, I don't know, but if it can be done, I think it should.
-It's weird that there are some obvious reused videos (that we've seen 30mins ago) mixed with some cool new videos (that reaper landing on the turian ship, awesome).
Again, I'm not trying to say "it's bad because of this things", but that some things can be improved, IMHO.
And I think that's it. Let's see how long does it take for someone to call me a troll or tl;dr
P.D: This is the first time I watched the whole credits, cause I was afraid I'd miss something important if I skipped them.
P.P.D: All this comment is for the high EMS ending, which is the one I play, I'll check the low EMS ending on YT.
