It will run but it will not fit in very well. E.g. Hackett will still call you on the citadel instead of Joker, the videos will be in english no matter what and during the memorial, you will hear EDI's VO from the synthesis endings. We'll prbably do translations eventually since I already got offer of help for Spanish, French and I can do it myself in German but bug fixing comes first so it may take a while.

P.S.: Yes, all the telemetry is from the destroy ending, just the memorial is from synthesis but that's irrelevant to the game AFAIK.

If I could splice the modified memorial scene into the Xbox 360 version of the game, it would be the perfect ending. Great work.

It might be possible if you have a modded Xbox 360, but it would still be very difficult unless you know exactly what you're doing.

ive downloaded the file here on BSN but i only got it at about 100kb p/s. I already had it from another link. But i think downloading it here will give Bioware something to think about.

Mr Fob i can inform you that the Mod worked well for me with a modified Femshep who had Traynor as LI.

I will make a video and some screencaps ( maybe today).

Again Thanks! you gave me motivation to replay the game!

Also Bioware should be very thankfull to you. I didnt buy Levi, and i was not planning to buy Omega ( because my Nicole Shepard died in the refuse ending.) .......but NOW!!! seeing her alive in the end, and beeing hugged by her LI I will buy Levi and Omega. And I guess that i am not the only one.

Ok so i thought i'd share this information with you guys. If you have low ems (to the point where even your squad dies on the beam run) you will not get the memorial scene. I just burned through the game as fast as i could, but it ended up costing me. I'm gonna reload the game to before Cronos station, and hopefully i can get my EMS up to at least 1750. I won't be able to update you guy till later in the night.

Not sure if I want to download it, though. Really, all I'm looking for is to take EDI's name off the wall, stick her in the memorial cutscene, and swap out the Rannoch slide (guilt-free Destroy ending lololol). There's a how-to thread for that, right?

My timing though is all over the place since I work shifts and livebin Asia.
Don't hate me, but I think I have about 12,000 ems from my N7 mp stats alone. ;-) + quest TMS, that'll be around 20k TMS.

Seeing those got me thinking: Would putting his helmeted model in place work in that circumstance and thus "cover" the distortions, if those cannot be sorted?
If not that, swapping the animations for the simpler ones of the one putting the plate in place would also do, if possible. Failing that...I know it kind of takes Shepard off the center stage, which is perfect excepting the issues Vakarian has, but what of putting Shepards in EDI's spot there, wouldn't that possibly circumvent that particular issue?

That aside, I have a question regarding the suggestion to put EDI in Javik's place: would that type of addition work for games lacking From Ashes?

Thanks for the info Mdoggy! And I am glad you got it to work after all. Yep, not getting the memorial was what I expected. Also, there is a movie in the EC DLC files that shows the Normandy crew settling in on the jungle planet. My guess is that it's a replacement for the Normandy-depart video at medium EMS. I wonder if I should keep it (without the crash scene it would be a bit out of context) or if I should replace it with the Normandy-flyby scene as well. If you do a medium EMS run-through later, please, let us know what you get.

@Chashan: Putting Garrus back in helps spot would definitely solve the facial FX problem but I don't think anyone would like to see Garrus put Anderson plaque up with Shep standing in the back. Not sure about the helmeted model.

As for switching EDI with Javik working without From Ashes, good point, I didn
't even think that far yet. By default, it probably would not work but I think I could make it work with some tweaks.

Well:

1) EDI's name plate is off in the latest version
2) Not sure. Don't know if you can qualify EDI as your closest friend (if you have no LI, you hug your closest friend, or so I heard)
3) The Rannoch slide is optional during the download. No need to see it

I'm no modder but I'll do what I can to help.
On that note I'd like to bring this up:
- "Epilogue slides: A facebook user sent me a message and suggesting that - because we cannot put ME2LIs into the memorial scene, we could put Shepard into their slides. If someone with drawing/photoshop skills were able to make something good, I think it's a great idea."

I actually had an modified EC Miranda slide in mind, I saw a few Mirandamancers post it a few times.
Basically this slide with Shepard photoshopped in next to her:


It looked pretty good, and I'm trying to find it as we speak, trouble is though, it would only work with default Shepard since it's clearly him in the image. So custom Shep is out of luck it seems. I'm having trouble figuring out a way around that.

I don't have a PC but a few suggestions because I think a couple people would like them.

You could add Mac Walters or Casey Hudson's name to the wall depending on how much you hate the original ending or not. It's kinda a memorial but also would imply the Reapers killed them.

It's not for the ending, but you should add some lines for the charge towards Harbinger, I think that would at least give him some closer as well.

I like this one maybe we can use something form the MP trailer, assuming it's even doable. Audio files might be a pain to find though.

Just a few additions there:
1) EDI is still on the wall in the current version (which is still the very sirst version). This will change in the nex update however)
2) EDI cannot be hugged because I replace her model with the one af the person who would usually put the plaque up. Might put her in Javik's plaace though.
3) Yep, for the next veriosn I plan to have a geth ony slide as well.

@Greyly: My idea for the slide was to put Shep on the edge of the picture, back turned but with the N7 stripe visible so that it works for everyone. However, seeing that picture, how about just putting a landing Normandy in the sky. That should get the point across well enough.
And I wholeheartedly agree, I would never put any real person on the wall, let alone two people who worked for years on this fantastic series and put a lot of blood and sweat into it. It is well worth remembering that this mod just rearranges assets that the are already there and that these guys created them in the first place.
The Harbinger idea, I like very much however. Alienmorph suggested this earlier as well. I thought it might be difficult to add dialogue there but I just had an idea: I will encode the dialogue, not as dialogue but directly into the music or ambient sound that is playing in that scene anyway. That way, if I get the timing right, I can put dialogue when and where ever I want. No subtitles but who cares. So, expect extended Harby dialogue in the next version.
