Thanks for all the nice comments! I really appreciate the support. We were actually hoping to release Harbinger for N7 day but that didn't work out, unfortunately. It's all my fault though, I had some stuff to take care of in real life and didn't get around to do my part yet. Also, I'll be away for about 2 weeks, starting tomorrow so I'm afraid Harby will have to wait yet a little longer.
Stay tuned though, he will take DIRECT CONTROL eventually. :)

@TonyTitan: Not much of a spoiler: In order to get Gianna's email, it's not enough to keep her alive. You also have to keep the Rachni kicking. Otherwise, her mail wouldn't make much sense (same goes for Kasumi's mail by the way, who also needs to have the Salarians on board).
As for Shep being bruised, not bleeding, not much to add to what Deager said. A texture replacement would alter Shep's appearance throughout the entire last mission, so we have to find a way to alter the texture link inside the memorial file itself instead. This has proven to be a bit trickier than expected and will be just one more item on the improvement list for v0.5.

EDIT: Oh, also, it seems pretty clear now that the email issue, which was discussed on the last page seems to have nothing to do with MEHEM or any other mods. It's something that can happen to any ME3 player apparently (see here and here for further info and discussion about this issue).

Ahhh....Rachni. OK, that makes sense. Figures. The ONE playthrough that I had the Rachni Queen dead too. LOL!
But Kasumi has an email that requires the Salarian's to be on board? Or Batarian's?

Salarians (which should be the case in almost all playthroughs anyway). It's just that they are mentioned in the mail, so it wouldn't make sense to get them if they are not there.

Harbinger or not, I'm celebrating N7 Day with a MEHEM-installed ME3. :D

Hey Mr. Fob, is "Harbinger" a new mod or an update of Mehem? I tried looking through the forum but could not find another mention of it.

@eric2465 From what I have seen of it, the Harbinger add-on basically adds a bunch of new scenes of the various allied fleets taking on Harbinger during the venture to rescue Shepard. It appears to be about as close to a boss battle dealing with Harbinger as we're likely to get.

IronHandJustice is the mastermind behind this particular project, and mentioned it indirectly a page or two back, mentioning that progress was going well on his end. And now according to what Fob said, it should be ready relatively soon.

Happy N7 Day! I hope your day was filled with Blue babies, bottle shooting, Harby, and dancing.

Also wasn't MEHEM v.1 released a year ago (give or take a few days)? Happy Anniversary!!

To celebrate MEHEM v0.4, I am running the whole damn trilogy one last time. Deleting each game & save files as I move forward. Looking forward to the awesome MEHEM ending and finally being able to end the cycle--for myself and this game obsession as well as for the characters :-)
I've said it before, but once again, THANK YOU @MrFob and co. for making the coherent, completely awesome ending that the trilogy deserves.
For those who are curious, my last run is an ultra-Paragon FemShep Soldier. I'm in Ilos now; the rough plan is:
ME1
  • Level 60
  • All resources collected, all licenses purchased, all side missions completed
  • Conrad sent home*
  • Bring Down the Sky: Scientists saved
  • Virmire: Wrex lives, Ashley dies
  • LI: Liara
  • Save the council
  • Recommend Anderson*
ME2
  • Level 30
  • All loyalty missions completed
  • Kasumi keeps the greybox; Mordin keeps the genophage data
  • No new LI
  • All Normandy upgrades obtained
  • All crew rescued from Collectors
  • All fish and ship models :-)
  • Destroy Collector base
  • DLC - All "relevant" DLC (skipping Firewalker and Normandy crash site)
ME3
  • Level 60
  • All DLC (saving Citadel until just before Cerberus base)
  • Cure genophage (but lose Mordin)
  • Peace between Geth & Quarians
  • Save Kelly
  • Save Miranda
  • LI: Liara
  • Galactic readiness - bumping it up to 100% through N7 HQ; should be there by the time I start ME3
In ME2 & ME3 she'll pass on all Renegade interrupts except for one:

"Here's to us. Who's like us?"

"Damn few. And they're all dead!"

Cheers,
Grmbrand

* I know there are import bugs in ME2; gibbed to the rescue

You may be successful. I'm on run 6 and I'm not still not willing to call it my last run. Good luck and have fun!

I don't see a need for any run to be THE last one.  I often go back to "old" games and replay them if I really liked them originally and enough time has passed so I don't fully remember every little episode or issue.  I just finished replaying FEAR3 after a long time and was about to do a new run with DeusEx: HR Directors Cut (recently release of "old" game) because it has been long enough AND they've made some adjustments to the game.  I'll also be soon starting a new ME1-2-3 run as well.

Some games I keep around for replay even once they've become "ancient" (a year or two old).  ME is one of those (thanks to MEHEM, texture mods, and my own mods).

I ultimately agree with you. If a game is fun to someone, they should just play it. But I understand people wanting closure too. I quit games when I'm on a run and don't want to finish it, which could be the 1st run or the 10th. ME run #2 was farcical and intended to be my last and then along came MEHEM.

@eric2465

Is an integrated non-independent addin for MEHEM. The objective was giving Harby the ending it deserved. With lots of victims, badassery and epicism.

Why the hell the Reaper Overlord just take off and we never see it again? For me is something that make me say: "what the f***? Is JUST going away? Why on half-destroyed earth it did that?"

Was something that even Bioware mentioned as "would be cool if we heard of Harby again". And we didn't, so I get angry and started this xD

@Blad3Zer0

Well, calling me "mastermind" is saying too much xD

I developed the scenes on UDK, yes, but the concept idea was borrowed. The secondary objective of this addin was to show your war assets properly, with dedicated scenes of allied ships.

I want to say, that the project is the result of the work of a bunch of people, including MrFob, Deager, Cfs3Corsair, CommandBenX, BDelacroix, and a long list that you will see on the credits =)

Without their collaboration, this would have been impossible.

Please don't hype it, and be patient, please ;)

It's actually not a bug, exactly.  The import save om ME1 is made before Shepard makes a recommendation.  ME2 sets the flag during the interview with Jacob and Miranda.  Whoever Shepard names as Councilor there becomes the human Councilor.

Edit: The Conrad thing is actually a bug. Both the paragon and renegade flags trigger. And it looks like the renegade flag takes priority.

Did like the new additions in the new new, helped the ending flow alot better, though I do think the new music is a little off putting. It sounds more like something from a SNES game rather than ME but thats just my tastes still great job makes the ending that much sweeter seeing the new parts.

Same here, the scenes felt more intense with the suicide mission soundtrack, but still GREAT JOB !!!

I meant no offense; I realize others contributed to your project. I only used the word 'mastermind' jokingly. And fear not, for something the likes of what you're doing, I can be plenty patient.

It paid off for MEHEM 0.4, after all.

I have yet to save Kelly.  I don't want to accidently pick her up so to speak, but I'd like to see she isn't squashed in ME3.

It's okay to bang Kelly; she doesn't count against you, and she'll feed/return your fish.

Just pick the "I'd catch you" rather than "I'd embrace you" in that one conversation and you're on the friendship track.  There's no romance, it's only a friendly dinner in ME2 (You only get a friendly hug from her in ME3, and even then only if you take the paragon interrupt) and you get your fish back.

even if you only do dinner with her and don't do the paragon interrupt in me3, isn't the conversation in me3 still rather flirty?
