I have watched v4.0 on youtube, a masterful job. I confess, I liked the music that was used in v3 better. I noticed that it has been said you can pick which music you get in v4 but I haven't seen just HOW you make that happen. I confess I am not very technical so if Hex editor is required, as I saw mentioned about some things in the ME3explorer, I won't feel comfortable trying to do that. anyway, guidance would be appreciated. Thanks
Super easy. A question is asked during the install of using the custom soundtrack or not. No need to HEX edit.

I sent you a friend request. I don't wanna spoil things for others, but I can PM you about the ones I received, as some seem to be dependent on what War Assets you have.
Send them to me too Iakus.
I will, though it may be a few hours. I'm not at home atm

So once again, very nice job on the emails Frypan. Very well written and they add so much to the game.
@Mr.Fob
My brother had an interesting idea Mr.Fob. He was telling me some of the emails you receive through the app after certain events throughout the game. He wanted to ask would it be possible of adding those emails from the app that you receive on your tablet/datapad and inserting them into the game itself? I guess he meant duplicating the emails and conditions and having them show up on the Normandy terminal instead of your datapad. I don't know if its possible, but he wanted me to pass it along.

Loving the new e-mails..at first I started saying wait these weren't here before..in ver.3
My favourite one thus far is our old friend from Noveria that ends up on the crucible, and wants a certain Spectre requisition, which with a smile I sent..
The e-mails are just so apropos of the ones sending them..Nice touch all..really enjoying MEHEM 4..thus far..
Can't give enough thank yous and appreciate for the gift yous have all given us..
As they say in my homeland (Go raibh maith agat) tis Irish for thank you very much..mate

Yeah. I had a slight freak out for 2 minutes until I realized we can still post discussions and such. We just need to link our files to another location. I'm already prepared.

Yea, noticed that to. All the resolution packs, custom textures packs, and other Mass Effect mods that people worked hard on so others can enjoy will be phased out. Wow, I can't imagine how those modders must feel. I guess now is a good time to make sure we have the mods we want before they are all wiped away.

Glad to hear folks like the emails. They were a first go at such things. Main thanks go to MrFob of course, without whom they would have stayed a pipe dream.
Hopefully they ever so slightly change the tone of the game leading into MEHEM. That is what they were designed for, to add to the body of evidence that supports the mod. They also clean up a couple of loose ends and presents some options for interpreting things like the fortuitous finding of the crucible.
Must admit that some were just to add a bit more regarding some favourite characters - our Noverian friend has the best kiss in ME2, and it was good to have a bit more contact.
The Spectre requisition was all MrFob though - it was great watching the light bulb go off on that one.
I haven't seen v 0.4 yet, had to stop playing to deal with a huge RL deadline. Looking forward to next week!

if I recall correctly, there is no way to fix that for the moment; as far as I know something is happening during conversion/compression of bik. This may be changed in the futureM920CAIN wrote...

Thanks for the reply. I thought as much. I'll try looking for ways to tidy them up myself.

I have a question though. I just watched the garrus version of 4.0 online and I'm wondering if there are plans to fix his eyes in future versions? His pupils go right to the side instead of looking at Shepard during the memorial scene. It looks kinda scary

But I watched the new low EMS version, as well as the success ending, and oh gawd it was still really sad and I even cried ain't gonna lie but it was so beautiful and also, this rather proves wrong the people saying those unhappy with the original ending just wanted to be coddled. This is a hopeful ending, with some future in it, but still has some bittersweet moments and when they put Adm Anderson's plate on the memorial board ALL THE FEELS

Wow. I expected this to be idealistic, happy-go-lucky, "and then nobody died and the Reapers disappeared and everyone went out of drinks".

Totally agree! The title "Happy Ending Mod" is easy to misunderstand and might scare some people off. Hopefully they will check it out in details and understand what it's all about
