Just checked it out myself in-game...grandeur.

The music did go out on me too around the time the "I'm proud of you"-piece ended, but then the scene still retains its own dramatic atmosphere sáns piano, to be had.
Further, it does put into severe question once more just why it was thought acceptable to tack the "decision-chamber" on following that. At any rate, I very much like a, at that point, uncertain outlook on what Shepards would do now that the job's done better than what the finale provides as Shepards' last 'dialogue-wheel' moment (in contrast, "I...don't know." [!] as last words as per the original, not exactly much improvement on that with EC).

BW play their cards right, they won't even need to take imports into consideration - which would add a quite unneeded workload to their 'fresh start' in any case. We'll see whether they do so.

If MEHEM doesn't fit in whatever comes next, Mass Effect can just continue without me.  That's all I have to say about that.  Image IPB

couldnt have said it better myself. I was doubtful about buying it to start with though, considering how me3 was gummed up. 

As as for the extended dialogue....
AWESOME. So this is totally compatible with MEHEM right? Will it be integrate in v0.5?

It does, at that, just tested it myself within the game. If you compare the loose manual files of MEHEM, you'll also find that the file is not present there, so you should be good.

Again, guys (MrFob included), if you think about it then MEHEM will have to fit in. MEHEM, at its core, is just an elaboration of one of the OFFICIAL endings, so it cannot be incompatible. Destroy ending with hi EMS has Shep surviving (wherein the MEHEM stuff - sans geth and EDI) can happen.

There is no way to make the next game incompatible with MEHEM without making it also incompatible with any other official ending. They either have to skip mention of specifics of the endings or select ONE and make that the only ending...and how would THAT go over?

No, if ME4 addresses endings of ME3 it has to somehow comport with synthesis, loss of Shep, survival of Geth and EDI AND with destroy with surviving Shep and no Geth or EDI, OR it has to fit with control and loss of Shep but survival of Geth and EDI. Impossible to do all three so it has to be very weak reference that works with ALL possible endings and that includes MEHEM by default.

What you say is possible, even likely.  But until we get more information, we won't know for sure.  Just giving my hyupothetical stance Image IPB

Well, not quite at this point. The second piece of music doesn't play with MEHEM. This is my fault. :)
The second piece is the refusal music (brilliant move by JohnP to use that there by the way). When I made v0.4 I messed around with the music a lot in order to get all the different endings playing just the way I wanted them. I must have made some redundant changes, which I forgot to reverse and they made it into the final release of v0.4, so the refusal theme doesn't play any more. Usually, it doesn't make a difference because you never hear that theme in MEHEM in the first place but now my sloppiness catches up to me. :)
I am still trying to figure this out and I'll upload a fix as soon as I have it working right.

About integration into MEHEM v0.5: as far as I can see, there is no need to fully integrate it. If JohnP is ok with it, it might be a nice option in the installer. I do remember some people explicitly not wanting the extended dialogue in their game so it would be good to keep it optional. As Chashan said, it's easy to do because it's a change in a file I didn't touch for MEHEM at all.

Just my two cents, I think an option in the installer would be great. Many people wanted an extended dialogue, so it would be nice to have the option. Theoretically it shouldn't increase size of the installer too much either right?

You know....concerning the Save files that @csf3corsair mentioned..... with DA turning to the Keep (I know DA was never designed to be a trilogy; one of the things I actually really like about the series), and new consoles arriving, I suspect that the need for a physical save may not be needed. Now, that doesn't mean that they would never use the import system again, but for this next ME, I could totally see them using something similar to the DA:Keep. It makes a bit more sense, especially since they are suggesting that the new ME game will not be about Shepard or Shepard's circle of events.

However, does that mean that certain events would be reflected in such a "galactic state" creator? Unknown. But, it would make it easier to incorporate a number of different situations, to allow for things beyond EC Destroy/Control/Synthesis/Refuse. I guess time will tell. And it may not even matter.

Just throwing my .02 out there.... ;)

ADrive (the hoster) only supports a limited number of download per day I think, so if it doesn't work immediately, just try again tomorrow.
And yea, if JohnP is fine with it, we'll put it in v0.5 as an option.

As for the saves, who knows. Guess we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. In other words ... :)

Thanks for the music etc. fix MrFob..
Was just going to ask about that silence and here's the fix already for the next round..

Just finished my Ver.04 play through and noticed a few things..
@ MrFob..Question did you shorten the hug scene at the memorial in version 04?

Just a thought(honest suggestion)
The conversation with time is rather aniclimaic. why not cut the scene right after shepard is shot by harby(without the normandy evac) this will solve some major issues with the plot
