I think he's talking about cutting the Normandy evac scene from the Extended Cut.... I think, lol.

Just a thought(honest suggestion)
The conversation with time is rather aniclimaic. why not cut the scene right after shepard is shot by harby(without the normandy evac) this will solve some major issues with the plot

You mean like how it was in the vanilla game without the EC..... which raised a whole TON of plotholes involving Shepard's squad and crew in the first place? :?

Guys, this is something, I know a lot of people have been waiting for. JohnP managed to make the cut dialogue with Anderson available as an in-game scene (even with a dialogue wheel option). It's got full lip sync and everything. All in all, it's amazing stuff. Check it out here.
Just wanted to share this here because I know many MEHEM users asked for this. This is all JohnP's work though.

Is anyone else having trouble accessing the site for the extended Anderson conversation mod?

I think FreeForums is down right now. The link for the DL is: https://www.mediafir.../jtymo7aa5i7xc/

You need to have ME3 Explorer and use the DLC Editor to place the modded file into the Extended Cut DLC.

Thanks!

Also I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who put in time for this mod.  I know it's been said a thousand times before, but I just felt compelled to say it again lol.  I've dipped my toe (so-to-speak) into a little bit of simple programming and so I can understand just how massive an undertaking this whole thing was.  @MrFob and company... I am truly in your debt.

P.S.: I ended up re-buying all three of these games on PC just because of this mod so Bioware and EA are probably in your debt too haha.

As I mentioned on his thread over at the ME3Explorer forums, this is an really incredibly job and is something I never thought I'd ever see in the game (though I've been in love with that extended Anderson dialogue since I first learned of it, but I had no idea there were actual animation and sequences for it existing in the game) - his use of the Refusal music score was also a very nice touch for that scene (and allows the scene to end on a more sober note than the original version ever did).

Hey, thanks to everyone who voted again! And yea, the fact that Origin sponsors this always gives me a good chuckle as well. :)
I am curious where we'll end up but just being in the company of mods like Freelancer's Crossfire, Deus Ex Nihilum, the KotOR2 Restored Content Mod or frigging Black Mesa is just awesome.
So thanks heaps!!!

As for the Normandy evac scene: I am always a bit hesitant to remove content with the mod. I mean, ok, I removed the star kid and all but that was kinda necessary for the entire thing to work. Taking out the evac scene would even work pretty well with MEHEM since the main plot hole it fixed was how the squad got back on the ship. This is no longer a problem because the Normandy doesn't crash-land any more and the squad could have easily been picked up after the crucible fired, just in time for the memorial. But as I said, I don't really want to remove content if I don't have to. While I would agree that the scene is a tad silly, it can actually have a nice emotional moment between Shep and their LI so I am going to leave it in.

I agree, the scene is silly and don't get rid of it.

Hey, you made Harbinger acknowledge the Normandy's presence, that's enough for me :)

Voted. Only the KotOR2 restoration mod should be any competition for MEHEM.

Also, I'm pretty late on this issue, but the Anderson Extended Dialogue mod would be a VERY welcome optional addition to MEHEM for me. And I'm glad to hear you don't plan to remove the Normandy evacuation scene--many and obvious problems aside, it's generally strong enough that its good outweighs its bad, I think.

Voted again, although competition looks fierce with the KOTOR2 Restoration mod and Wyrmstooth for Skyrim. Though those mods don't accomplish what this mod does: saving an entire game series. I don't think another mod has ever done that. ;)

Also, hats off to the creator of the Anderson death speech. Playing through ME3 again to level all my weapons and excited to get to the end to see this conversation. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the creative decision to cut this from the game. On top of so many other things. ;) I agree with everybody else, an option in the installer to have it put in would be nice for the next version. ;)

Absolutely fantastic is all I can say about restoring the extended Anderson scene/conversation. Combined with MEHEM v3, I now have pretty much my perfect trilogy ending.

Plus the music fix posted by MrFob also works with v3, so I'm even happier.

Extended Anderson conversation isn't something i want in my game so i'm glad it got cut. Glad for those that want it that there's a mod to restore it though.

Also i voted for MEHEM again.

So it was icy where I live and I ended up flipping my car (that had my computer in it) at 100kmh. But my computer and harddrive survived just fine, so that means I still have the sound work I have done for the Harby Project.
@Fob and IHJ
On break now so if you need any work done at my end (sound, test, va, etc) just message me

You cannot comprehend the extent of my existance. You will be subdued like the rest...
Just kidding no AI here. I am somewhat sore admittedly but I am fine. A huge amount of snow ended up softening the whole ordeal.

Hey all--
Some pages ago, when MEHEM 0.4 was still a few weeks away, I mentioned my plan to play the whole damn trilogy one last time, deleting my trail of save games and indeed the games themselves as I went.

This evening I have completed that epic journey, so I can finally offer my sincere gratitude for the amazing work that Mr. Fob and his merry band of contributors have put into the 0.4 update. The new animations totally caught me by surprise. I have to confess that I did not opt for the new soundtrack, but only because I think the reprise of the scores from ME2 works so incredibly well.

It sounds cheesy, but I feel like there is a funny "life imitates art" aspect to the whole thing. Commander Shepard and the combined forces of the galaxy rise up to end the Reapers' cycles of annihilation once and for all, and MEHEM has helped me to find the closure that BioWare's endings repeatedly failed to provide. You guys broke the cycle, and you got my Shepard back home.

So, thanks guys again for the best game mod ever.

Note to BioWare--I literally don't have the emotional fortitude to handle any more of your games. Thanks for the amazing story, and all of the feels--god, the feels! But I'm glad it's over.

Grmbrand out.

Incredible... after giving up on me3 & these forums back in June of last year, I find out about this extraordinary mod. First I'd like to thank & congratulate the creators on your time & effort. secondly I wondered if anyone could tell me if there's a certain point the mod must be installed by ( just finished priority citadel)... Sorry if the questions been answered before

Writing from cellphone. Any time you can install. Mod starts... Well, the main bit is at about the beam run. But install it now to get some little extras too. :-)
