MEHEM (for me anyway) is everything I could have ever asked for, so anything else is just bonus points for me. I'm just genuinely curious about the Harby Mod, that's all.
From what I understand, it's going to be an extra part of MEHEM which will give Harbinger a death scene worthy of a major antagonist.

Well, there was a trailer before in the thread. This version is 0.8. The current version is 1.1 (11 for me). The trailer was based in a early alpha stage.
After the one you can see on youtube we:
-Balanced textures
-Improved textures
-Modified lighting
-Modified refraction
-Modified emissives
-Added new background
-Added post- process effects (bloom, blur, anti-alias)
-Rebalanced sound.
-...Endless list.
0.8 was one of the first ones having almost all the animations done, but after we had to improve a vast ammount of effects/graphics (even plot). So, keep in mind that the final result is far better than the 0.8.
Some people who have colaborated can tell you that the differences are huge. The current level is similar to the one seen on MrFob's videos of current 0.4.
And in this point is when I stop the hype

As I mentioned before I prefer the pacing of the ending in MEHEM v3 but would love to see the emails from v4 in my game.
I know I could play with v4 to the end, uninstall, and then put on v3 but it'd be great to save myself having to quit out of the game.

Note: If you add the emails to a game that does not run any version of MEHEM at all, the subtitles during the catalyst conversation would be messed up because that's where I put the strings for the emails.

Edit: Going to take a little longer than I thought. I'm first going to have to uninstall v3, install v4, copy the required files and then uninstall v4 to put v3 back on, and then copy the files into a v3 install.
Still I never did like to pass up a challenge

Well, I've got to say that this sounds completely amazing. Will there be a custom soundtrack? Or will it re-use Mass Effect soundtrack files? I have to say that I think an option at installation (just like for MEHEM) might be the best way to move forward. But either way, I'm nit-picking lol. I still almost can't believe that this amount of modding is possible. I probably can't even begin to guess how big of a challenge it must be. Everyone involved in this really can't get enough credit for it. I'd love to see someone from Bioware (even ex-Bioware) at least acknowledge what has been accomplished so far. It really does make me feel proud to say I am a member of the Mass Effect fan community. It also makes me wish I was better at programming so that I could help, but I'd definitely end up making things worse (well maybe not much worse than the original ending fiasco
Anyway, thanks again to everyone involved with this, from MrFob on down. I'll do my best to promote these mods to my friends and whoever else I can find. And I will be eagerly awaiting the Harby mod... and MEHEM v0.5 of course!

I'm just happy they let us post our mods here and talk about them. The certainly know we're here but I understand them needing to stay silent and I have no problem with that. It's pretty amazing that we care enough about these games to do this stuff.

Your definitely right about that. I am just glad that other people care as much about this universe as I do.
And let me say that I also agree with your first part as well. I don't want to take anything away from Bioware. Without them, we wouldn't have anything to mod and so I never mean to come off as unappreciative. I realize they tried to create what they thought was a good ending, it just wasn't recieved by fans in quite the manner they probably anticipated (slight understatement lol). But Bioware will always deserve a bunch of credit for giving us all the characters that we love. I still have a ton of respect for Bioware. Fortunately, thanks to people like you, fans like me can get an even better ending.
Your Citadel mod was very well done, btw. I had only played the vanilla version of the Citadel DLC once prior to using your mod. Your mod seemed like I was playing through an official Bioware update of the DLC to make it a true epilogue. Thanks again

It allows you to mod DLC without worrying about failing the startup check or needing to replace your ME3 launcher with a hacked version. This means that mesh mods can be installed into DLC now without the hassle. Still not as simple as running Mod Maker but a big improvement.

Aw shucks. But seriously, thank you. I'm really glad you and a few others have enjoyed it.
EDIT
@Getorex
That's right. I forgot about that. I love your mods by the way. It's great to see those characters looking like they did before.

I can finally adjust the CD-times of DLC-abilities for squad-mates without further ado? Cool!

A little while back, I made a video edit that changed the Leviathan's dialogue to exactly that (where basically the AI that the Leviathans created transfomered itself into Harbinger):Chashan wrote...

Granted, the above example I did was accomplished through audio and video editing, but it could conceivably be done in-game by editing and updating some new audio dialogue of Leviathan using ME3Explorer.

I'm sure it can. I was thinking about it on my last trilogy play-through. Technically it's the same but storywise I'd have to make sure nothing got screwed up as it might require a little more finesse than CEM. Also, I'm not saying I'm going to do it but I do see merit in the idea.

YouTube's new policy is rather crazy. No news there. If there is no way to prevent video removal due to alleged copyright infringement (which we all know mehem does not do) and YouTube strikes mehem, are there plans for a backup hosting service?

As far as I know, nobody found the secret yet. Seems we might have hidden it a bit too well. Maybe we'll make it a bit easier to find in the next version.
I may have found it, but only because I cheated and looked at the files themselves. If I'm right...it's really funny. However, I'm not sure if MrFob wants me to spill the beans or have someone stumble onto it first.
EDIT: Naw, I won't share. And the reason is this. If somebody stumbles on to it or if MrFob makes it easier to get in v0.5, it will be really, really funny for anybody who gets it.

Try running the uninstaller for MEHEM v0.4 Doing a repair install of Mass Effect 3 AND the Extended Cut DLC. Install MEHEM v0.4 again. See if that resolves it.
I should have added, try without the texture mods. It shouldn't matter but if you have success and then install the mods and have trouble, then you have your answer.
