Oh. My. God... thank you so much! The Updates keep making MEHEM better and better! I LOVED the custom scenes, and then the update in which EMS actually mattered for once... amazing is all I can say.

I noticed it's only in 0.4 (Beta?) stage. I can't even begin to imagine what it's going to be like in v1.0!

If I can make a suggestion, try to add a scene in which Shepard is being carried onto the shuttle by the soldiers who came to get him? Maybe have the LI/Best Friend *lead* that patrol, and be the one to grab Shepard's hand?

Don't know about Shepard being caried into the shuttle, but having a Normandy crew member lead the patrol would probably not be possible.

The whole rescue scene is basically one long cutscene.  As such it can't take into account who's on the Normandy or what Shepard's relationship with anyone is.  Or even Shepard's appearance (thus why we only see a shadowy hand, it could belong to any Shepard)  So the only characters we could really see in the rescue would be EDI, Liara, or James (since this is a High EMS ending, and no one died in the beam charge)

Plus unless some dialogue could be found to recycle for the scene, they'd have to be entirely silent, which might seem strange.

Anyway, this is just a layman's analysis of the problems invovled.  I could be totally wrong.

Hey, i read earlier about some secret that hasnt been found?
I noticed this while hanging in udinas office looking down on the presidium water. I see the statue from the normandys crash site in ME2. has this always been there, or is this you guys? :)

I could see Shepard being helped, like his/her arm around a shoulder. I would rather see the soldiers carry Anderson's body, for that "no one gets left behind" feel.

Hi everyone, a belated Marry Christmas and Happy New Year to all MEHEM fans and to the internet in general. :)
Sorry for my absence of late, I was travelling and didn't have much of a chance to read, let alone write stuff here.

Turns out I missed a great deal though. First of all, congratulations to JohnP for getting Miranda and Jack into the memorial! I just had a look at the files and this is simply an amazing piece of work. As far as I know, he is the first to show what's possible with Warranty Voider's new fix for improved DLC editing. Just goes to show how much is still possible in terms of modding ME3. So again, congrats and kudos!

Point 2: Harbinger: I was hoping to finish Harby before I left 2 weeks ago but that didn't happen. I am also not sure how much time I'll have in the coming week so it may yet be delayed a little longer, sorry about that. However, we are very close to wrapping him up so bare with us a little longer.

Now, to answer a few questions from the last couple of pages:
Locutus_of_BORG: I definitely know of people who played MEHEM and used NG+ without problems so I doubt it's the mod as such. However, it may be good to do a re-install of the game and DLC and the mod and make sure everything is in order. Also, gibbeting flags can alsp lead to all sorts of bugs and strange glitches so be careful with that.

@Zu Long: Some editing on the emails for spelling would really be appreciated. If you have the time, it would be great to get your help on this. Just send me a pm if you'd like to help. BTW, the texts of all emails can be found here.

@symbiotics: You can "heal" Shep's face during the memorial with a simple edit. Just find the easy tutorial in the MEHEM customisation thread, linked in the OP.

@giftfish: Sorry, can'*t be much help here since I never ran MEHEM with texture mods. I can only tell you that I had trouble building the tree as well, even with an un-modded game.

@EagleClaw888: Thanks. It is v0.4 but no more major changes are planned at this point. We are mainly concentrating on smaller improvements and details for v0.5 and possibly some bug fixing if it becomes necessary. That said, you never know what will happen. A lot of the stuff that is in v0.4 was either not possible at the time of v0.1 or was suggested by people here on the forums. If something cool comes up and if it can be implemented, I am always happy to make further changes. Just look at JohnP's latest achievements like the extended Anderson conversation and the new miri/Jack memorial scene.
As for Shepard on the citadel: iakus is exactly right. Not much to add from my side. Since this is a pre-recorded cutscene only, it cannot be customised to everyone's Shepard and therefore, I'm afraid we can't be too specific.

@Chroptus: Sorry mate but that statue has got nothing to do with me. I will say that the secret is happening during the ending, not before. ;)

I believe is a model replacement, they replace Traynor's model

Nothing is replaced. The game will automatically show the appropriate LI. Traynor will still appear if she is the LI, or she will appear in the Virmire Survivor's place if they are absent/in the LI spot, just like in the default game.

Well, the thing is that Warranty Voider released a fix for adding things to DLC a few weeks ago and this is the first time I've seen it used.
With this new fix, it is possible to clone (and then alter) objects in dlc files and therefore include new models and texture references into the file. That way, it was possible for JohnP to insert Miri and Jack without loosing Traynor. Add a bit of sequence modding to have the right model displayed according to Sheps romance et voila.
Sounds easy in the oversimplified version but getting all of this to work properly is a hell of an achievement. Kudos to JohnP for that. And yea, if he has nothing against it, I'd like to add this to v0.5 but I am waiting to hear from him first.

prob..yea...eh this file messing explorer stuff..no bloody way..MEHEM
installer is a life saver, and will always be for me..

@ BTW MrFob, finally finished my run with MEHEM 0.4 awesome, ending with Miri..Absobluddylutely awesome..

Maybe by the time I do a Jack romance this will be implented in MEHEM, (touch wood)
Even better to get to hug her, so hoping for the best..then I will have to replay that part for Miri..too..

We should start calling you the miracle worker of the Extended cut, with all your partners in crime, helluva job once more....;)
The possibilities of replay, are additively immense, now, because of, for me this mod in particular...Ta again..
 with all the DLC's I will always get the good ending..and it is the point of this mod basically..the more logically sounding end, to me anyway..for Shep and crew..perchance Bioware will learn something, from this one can hope..amazing what one mod can lead to..
Now....one can romance all the  female characters, with no paused, before ending dread..  my female Shep instends to, thanks to Gibbed..do all the romances with the womoyn she wasn't allowed to...now I do play about with Gibbed, like that, its much easier to work with for me..

As with many here I shall wait with barely containable anticipation, yet patience with your schedule,
with what  suprises, 0.5 incl hopefully it will be Miri and Jack getting hugs I guess we must wait and see..

@Mr Fob As for what I'd like to see.in the future, if its hopefully possible.. I know you incl an Aria alive photo, thank you very much...I really would like to see that somehow Tevos survived also..we all know, her an Aria...well lets just say seeing counsellor Tevos alive, maybe standing next to her..would be  the last bonus for me, with the other hugs, everything else is just topping on the cake..

My recent play-though now with ASH, I must look harder for this surprise, now its like a mission to find it..

BTW..I was sick and not here to wish this sooooo...Happy New Year Mass Effect 3

I'm not Zu Long, and I'm stupid enough that I apparently can't figure out how to make the PM system here work for me, but I do have some experience with editing and proofreading, and such things.  I'd be happy to touch those up a bit for you if you're interested.

I dont know why but first time addinational LI mod worked really smoothly . No problems at all but now when I try to load load save game it keeps crashing in beam run . I tried restart mission save and before going to earth save ,nothing changed . I uninstalled and installed MEHEM 8 or 9 times but problem still continues. I noticed there's nothing wrong with MEHEM but when I install Additional LI mod , it just won't let me to reach final converstation with TIM . Even I did the same thing for Extended Anderson Death Scene (Uninstall/Install) .

I think they changed the PM system to where you have to be "friends" to PM each other.

Well I finally finished my first runthrough with MEHEM and I'm damn well impressed. I'm not saying the original ending(s) in the Extended Cut are terrible (my headcannon fits more or less) but what has been done here by the team is excellent!

The original mod voiceovers did put me off a bit not because of the acting (which is perfectly fine for what's been done so far), just the difference in audio quality is very noticeable when it switches over from the usual game voiceovers.

Obviously the mod isn't finished and I know the quality will improve in revisions to come. I'll probably wait a few more versions to pass by before playing through again like I did first time round but I'm totally stoked to see how it all progresses :D

I just finished an MEHEM on one of my Shepards, and I can't seem to get it to import into a NG+. I've poked through this thread, but I can't really find any answers. Is there some sort of variable I can alter in a save editor to make it importable?

This mod alone is what makes me want to get a pc just so I can play through the trilogy with this mod. I hate the vanilla endings, even with the extra ending it still feels so incomplete. MrFob, you have done an incredible job and I hope to one day be able to play it!

I decided to plubish what I wrote up for someone else. Granted, it sounds like sometimes people have to run the TOCbin or DLC TOCbin updater.

Thank you ,I just found TOC.bin updater ,updated main game but just like you said ,I think my problem from the start is I cant found the DLC PCConsoleTOC.bin . I mean only Default.sfar shows up :(

DLC TOCbin updater is actually a separate tool. In ME3Explorer, it's in Developer Tools > TOC > DLC TOCbin Updater.
The go to File > Check and Rebuild SFAR and select the Default.sfar for the Extended Cut (DLC_CON_END).

It's in that file, along with a bunch of pcc files for the DLC. You extract all that in me3explorer and can then do the update to the file and then repack it into a Default.sfar file.  Look in DLC explorer.

 OH I FINALLY FOUND IT ! THANK YOU ALL  . I was using old version of ME3Explorer ,just downloaded 106 version :D
