I have the same problem. Was your game or account heavily modified before MEHEM? It might be good to do a clean reinstall to rule any issues with your base game.

Thanks, Mr.Fob. It's just weird that all my issues relate to characters I imported post-MEHEM. There could be problems with my game, b/c I've had lots of issues with Origin and techs have done a lot of fiddling around with my account on their end. OTOH, there might be issues with my imported saves - many of which were modified with Gibbed. I'm a little reluctant to do a clean reinstall of ME3 for fear of what would happen on Origin's side, but I suppose it's something I might have to do.

So out of curiosity, how far does this put us to putting in brand new content in ME3? If we're as close as that post says, then this could be an exciting time, especially with MENext that's going to bring back interest and fans willing to work on content since they see how much can be done.

You said it best MrFob when you replied to Warranty Voider. This has huge potential. It's still looking like advanced stuff beyond what I can do but I know there are some talented people out there just itching to get things done.

Is this new find the type of thing that could allow us to see "our" Shepard get rescued in MEHEM? However, if you're still doing hex edits to bring up the correct animations...that seems like an insane amount of work.

Welcome back Mr.Fob! Wow....that...I think your response in the ME3Explorer forums summed up my reaction exactly. The immense potential this breakthrough has is off the charts. Adding content for the FedEx quests, creating brand new side missions, maybe some missions that have you fighting alongside your war assets, and as Deager pointed out, creating and adding character content into MEHEM...possibilities are endless. I wonder if this is how humans felt after discovering the technology in the Prothean ruins on Mars...Image IPB

hey my fob i was wondering if you could add a certain drum beat were the normandy is returning to earth ( the drum beat could sound like the one in space oddessy ) just something to giggle at

also on the new level / side quest w/e could it be possible to make more reaper ship designs now ? troop transports an the massive harvesting ships that are mentioned in the codex would be great during certain side quests 

also is it possible to  mod enemie chracter  models e/c cerberus troopers  for example ?

I regularly have dreams of Mass Effect 3 modding being blown wide open like Skyrim :P

I'm realistic, that won't happen on such a big level. Still, this new development is music to my ears. I'd love to have a marriage scene before Earth with Liara (or other LIs). Right now I'd just settle for not seeing recycled videos for the original MEHEM scenes :)

Only thing I had done was edit a few plot flags.

I ended up changing a flag using the gibbed editor that let me import for NG+. There was a flag having to do with completion of the main story that had not been tripped, it needed to be set to either "Out in the blaze of glory." or "Lived to fight another day." to enable NG+ import.

So... It appears that while running mehem and fraps, I am encounter lag or fetching errors while watching the bik videos in mehem. Odd. Not sure if it's because mass effect 3 and origin run off an external hard drive, or some other problem. Will probably post link later

Fraps plus the external drive is probably what's doing it. You can try assigning Fraps and ME3 to different CPU cores.

I've seen Harbinger stuff mentioned for 0.5 so I'm assuming that yes, this trailer is a sneak peak at what we'll get in MEHEM 0.5.

This is the Harbinger addin i've been working on since March 13. Is intended to give closure to Harby, and also present some war assets to the player.

MrFob is kindly integrating it into MEHEM as addin.

I had an old trailer, but if you compare them, the old one (0.8) is quite crappy if you compare to the final you've just saw (1.1).

It uses a ton of voicework, and the animation tool (UDK) is the same used for the 0.4 of MEHEM. The final lenght is about six minutes.

I have to say it's looking flipping sweet, glad it's being integrated. I've also seen a video of the cut dialog scene with Anderson put back in as a proper conversation, hopefully that'll be put in as well :)

With recent discoveries, 2014 is going to be VERY interesting for MEHEM :D

Maybe wanna tell us more about that flag, where it's located or its bool number? Because I'm not seeing it in the Gibbed editor (I also have that problem of not being able to import for an NG+).

EDIT: Never mind, I found it. It's in the Raw tab. I'm a derpy hooves.

From what I'm reading, yes. I'm not a mod-god but what Warranty Voider showed, and was verified by MrFob's response, shows that a pcc file can be added and then linked to successfully. I still suspect it will be a lot of hex editing and in this case, sequence editing to get the files to load properly, but for someone like Fob and the like, this will open the door.

Better than that, we could make our own Firebase maps, maybe even our own little objectives in those.

Yup. About six minutes more or less. Perhaps 5.50 or so after the last build :)

Some scenes are recycled from the game, with new uniforms and new voices (is my shep dressed for the ocassion, i have to confess it :blush:), but the most part is ship animation like the ones seen in the trailer. 

Expect war assets as well. For the optional ones, there are two different versions recorded, one for "I knew I could count on these guys!" and the other one for "Nope, they are not with me. Meh. Who cares. Shoot at that bastard!".

A last correction: is Shield Fleet, not Sword Fleet. Sadly, Sword is being obliterated ;)

As the first trailer told, Harbinger realized that the organics have a giant super-awesome "I kill you with one shot, bwhahahaha" gun, so it decides to destroy it before its too late :innocent:

(I would assume that it'd be the former, as the latter would have no real purpose such a late state in the game)

Oh wow, I seriously cannot wait for that. 6 minutes of the fleet battleing and destroying Harbinger?Image IPB. Just when I think this mod has it all, an awesome new addition comes into play. Also, I know its been said many times over, but I've just completed another trilogy playthrough, and just wanted to say....my deepest thanks you all. Mr.Fob, Wavion, Deager, JohnP, IHJ, and everybody else who had a hand in this.  The extended Anderson/Shepard conversation brought another emotional layer to that scene,really tugged at my heart strings, (still can't fathom why it was cut). Then my Shepard being rescued by his crew and after defeating the reapers, he puts Anderson's name on the memorial wall and turns to see...Miranda. Miranda finally being added to the hugging scene brought a few happy tears. ;) Now I have the perfect ending thanks to you all.Image IPB

I went ahead and uploaded a video of my ending to help spread the word about all these improvements and other mods that were used. And also to help prove that they all work well with each otherImage IPB. Many thanks to everybody again! I will be eagerly waiting for the Arrival.....Image IPB
