When I had MEHEM installed, I was able to see 6 former ME2 squadmate slides together (Miranda, Jack, Jacob, Samara, Kasumi, and Zaeed) on a save where they were all alive at the end, versus the non-modded game which did only use 4 slides for the former squadmates.

Hi everyone, sorry for my absence of late. I am afraid it will go on for a while yet since I am currently tightly in the grip of RL work. I hope I'll have more time for other stuff in the middle of February but it will be a while before I can start thinking about v0.5 in earnest unfortunately.

And yet again, sorry to IHJ in particular since Harby had to wait again. It's actually not that much work that's left on it (maybe a week or so) but there is just no chance at the moment, I barely have enough time to write this post, sorry. It's the first thing on my modding agenda though.

@roivasff14: I am afraid there is no transcript of it. Just before the Christmas break, I started to write up a tutorial for the translation of MEHEM into other languages but it's not quite finished yet (again, won't be before Feb). And what? You get the emails in French?!? You probably just get some lines from the Catalyst conversation though, right? This si because I put the strings for the text of the emails into the place where you'd usually find the subtitles for the Catalyst conversation. If you want to translate the emails, that would be really cool. They can be found here

@Mr.Phil: I had a look at your saves and you don't have a LegendSave, which is what you need to import into NG+ (see here). I can't tell you why you don't have one. All I can tell you is that while editing files for MEHEM, I saw the sequence object that generates the LegendSave and I didn't take it out, so theoretically, it should work fine. The LegendSave is generated after the stargazer scene, so make sure you let the game run through the entire ending.

Javik slides: ell, the slides are usually meant for ME2 squad mates, not ME3 ones but if anyone makes cool Javik slides, we could definitely put them in, especially now that it is possible to add new files to the EC. I am not sure if there is a limit to the number of slides bu I don't think so. The musc just loops anyway and there is no reason why we can't add as many as we like. There is a variable that checks if "all slides" are played but it doesn't seem to do anything. For MEHEM, I actually did not add any new slides so far (just overwriting or re-activating old ones) but I recently included new slides for the upcoming ThaneMOD and that wasn't a problem either. There was also the idea for a rachni slide floating around at some point. As I said, just need someone to make good ones. I am not an artist and you certainly don't want to look at slides that I draw.
By the way, Poly Morph (who made the new "Miranda in front of a repaired Mass Relay" slide) sent me a new version for the Jacob slide, which includes a few more aliens to show that the species have come together a little more. I plan to include that in v 0.5. I also have a cool idea for a Kasumi slide but that will be difficult to pull off. Still, if anyone is interested, let me know.
BTW: Adding Javik into the memorial is now theoretically possible but would still require a huge amount of effort. Remember, it's not just about adding the model, you'd also need new animations for him, a sequence that decides if he even should be there, etc.

I hope I didn't miss anyone (just skimmed through the last page quickly). I might be away again for a while but I'll catch up as soon as I can. Cheers!

Nice idea, I was actually thinking of trying my hand (or attempt to try my hand, lol) at editing that London slide with Major Coats so that the other characters in the background are aliens instead of humans (to better reflect Hackett's speech of "every species on every world".... which I always thought was really odd considering that slide was an "all-humans club" pic)

So I did as I said I would. Had some nasty bugger in the CookedPCConsole folder, some new appearance for EDI, Liara and Shepard it seems. Can't quite put my finger on what they were, but I've deleted them. Then I uninstalled MEHEM, Repaired the install for the game, re-installed the MEHEM mod and tried to redo the game from before the assault on TIM's base. Still could not import from ME 3. Now I'd appreciate if any of you guys could confirm that this is the normal behaviour of Mass Effect 3 ending: right after the star gazer scene, I get the BioWare team message about Shepard saving the galaxy and blah blah blah. Right after that, the game loads by itself and gets me on the Normandy, ready to attack TIM's base again. Is that supposed to happen?

I managed to finish translation for the ending video, I got some help from a friend from BSN (Kunari :D) for the few lines I couldn't understand. As I said, my english is not flawless but I think my translation is at least ok, I could find some of the lines in previous mass effect so used "official" translation & the other I couldn't remeber where they were from + new ones, well It's home made trad XD

For the email, ya, I only got the ones with catalyst lines, never saw the others, I'll look at them & see if i can make a translation, but that will take times (and again, i'm not a pro :x)

But I have to ask, how do I install the Miranda/Jack LI part? I checked the link to the forum where the .rar filer is with the different folders. But it didn't say if I need any mod tools? I get the feeling I need some mod skills in order to get it working?
Is there any "tutorials" for non-modders if so?

The replacing-bits will require you to use me3explorer, which is a simple enough process once you get the hang of it.

The couple files altered in the CookedPCConsole-folder you can simply drop in and overwrite. Naturally, should you have modified them in some way prior to that those changes will get overwritten as well. I am not aware of any mod that touches upon them myself...one concerning textures, perhaps?
Once you are done overwriting them, you can update the PCConsoleTOC.bin found in BIOGame-folder. Simply let the updater for that in me3explorer do its thing and it is done.

The DLC-files require a couple different steps to take. Open up DLCExplorer, and open the .sfar-file for the EC, found in DLC/DLC_Con_END/CookedPCConsole.  Right-click the files you want replaced, one by one, and select just that option. It'll warn you too should you misclick and the file-names not match. Once you got them all replaced, you only need to save the whole thing - the hard-disk button in the panel up above - and it's done.
Should you have applied any of the things found in the customization-thread over on me3explorer, you'll need to reapply those to the files of the additional LI-mod. before that.
I found it to play along nicely with Shepard's face being healed. The roll-back of the memorial-scene to 0.2-conditions, which allowed for romances locked in through Gibbed to get their moment too - e.g. Femshep-Williams - appears to work too, but doesn't extend to Mira' from what I saw. Wouldn't be surprised if it didn't work for Jack either. A side-project to figure out, I suppose. <_<

Hi Mr.Ph11,

I should have jumped in long ago but I just wasn't paying attention to this question. After you get the team message from Bioware, yes, it is the correct ending you're getting. They really do just dump you in the Normandy, right before the TIM base mission.

I am trying to record a MEHEM ending with Jack first, then Miranda. Probably. Anyway, I am using the Mass Effect 3 Gibb save editor, but I cannot figure out what to set in order to have the game figure my shep romanced Jack rather than Liara. Can't seem to find the conditional in the RAW data either. If anybody knows how to remedy this, would appreciate it!

Did some fiddling around with the gib editor. I can lock thane in a romance with femshep, but the game appears to be confused as to whether he is alive or dead. He doesn't appear in the memorial scene and his name is on the wall. However, shep turns to hug a non existent person.
Ah well, look forward to when the thane mod is up :)

Thank you Deager. Now, all that remains for me to do is either hear if my saves are salvageable by someone who is more knowledgeable than me or re-play the whopping 50 hours it took to get there (just to check if it is actually going to work this time around...). -Sigh-

I sent a friend request in case this ends up getting quite technical but here's what I found.

I could simply make a folder named Quarian_12_Soldier_051213_37b0d2f and then dump your save files in there. Then I loaded a game, switched careers, and fired up save035 and I was ready to begin the raid on TIM base.

If I'm missing the boat on the question then just accept the friend request and we'll figure this out.

EDIT: The chaptersave you have, which is just as Shepard enters the beam, is also working for me.

He's there. He's just invisible. :) That's because Thane's actor is inactive by default in the file I streamed that contains him (BioD_CitHub_HospitalP3). I modded that file to set him active if the player is at the end game (same thing I did with the file for Jack). However, since Thane can never be alive in a non-ThaneMOD game, I didn't include that modded file in the additional LI mod, even though I used the same memorial file.

1. Actually I misread your initial post. I thought you had said that he did NOT appear on the memorial wall. If he did, that means something wasn't set right. You would need to set bool 19283 (made out with Thane in Huerta) to true and bool 18714 (Thane died in ME3) to false. However, you would still need the modded HospitalP3 file for Thane to be visible.

2. Yes, you could technically put any actor in there. I had thought about doing a silly video with Shepard hugging TIM or Kai Leng. :D For Samara, there is a bool for trying to romance her in ME2 which is what triggers the ability to do it in Citadel. I'd have to see if Citadel then sets a flag when you do.

I am ordering one with Brooks. She's clearly hitting on Femshep anyhow. :lol:

On a slightly more serious note: would it be possible to make Jack and Miranda work in that spot for Femshep if the plot-flags are checked via Gibbed?

Actually, I had the romancing thane in hospital set to true, and his death to false. If I recall correctly, I also had him getting stabbed set to false, and talking in hospital true. However, he still appeared on the board. I experimented a bit, and it seems whether or not he appears on the board is directly related to romancing thane at hospital or not. Odd. However, femshep still hugs invisible actor.
Yeah I observed the Samara Me2 bool. Not exactly sure how it would work with Citadel flag wise though :/

Just an observation here...I modded my Citadel DLC with my EDI head mod and a few others, then installed MEHEMv0.4. Worked just fine (at least the installer didn't complain or error out) but then I tried running the Citadel Epilogue mod and it crapped out because the Citadel DLC is no longer the "correct" size.

Is there an order that the epilogue mod must be installed? Any ideas what hex might be edited to turn off size-checking so it just installs regardless of DLC size?
