However, I installed MEHEM (by the way, huge THANK YOU for making the trilogy awesome [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/wink.png[/smilie] ) with the installer and chose the "new custom music" (or similar) option , but when i click on "play" in ME3Explorer , the vanille-credit song (the one i want) starts to play
Shouldn't that one be different? I have no .afc that is named "DLC_Con_End" or similar, neither in the ""BioGame->CookedPCconsole" nor in one of the "DLC"- folders (only got "Default.sfar" and "Default.sfar.bub" in my Biogame->DLC->DLC_Con_End-> CookedPCconsole)

And yes, that's all that's supposed to be in the DLC folders. DLC is contained in a single compressed file, similar to a zip file. You have to use DLC Editor in ME3 Explorer to extract/replace the individual files.

I've been wondering that since the EC was released - the characters don't have the Synthesis "glowing circuitry" effect on their bodies, but the eyes do seem to glow in all versions of the slide.Chashan wrote...

I found the DLC_CON_END.afc. I have a backup of the Vanilla Extended-Cut default.sfar, if i extract the DLC_CON_END.afc from there and replace the MEHEM one with it, will i get the correct music or will i mess up everything?

Before you go there, you may want to familiarise yourself a little with how sounds work in ME3 since you will have to edit them with a HEX editor). Check out this index page and look for the section about audio editing for some more thread about this.
@Chashan & AVPen: I am pretty sure there is a Synthesis version of this slide, where you can see the green stuff on the skin of the students. But that shouldn't be there in MEHEM. Just looked it up with google and the eyes of some of them are really bright though, that's true.
@HelixSpiral: Wow, that's cool that the mod maker for PCC files works. I got a lot of stuff to check out when I have some time for me3eyplorer again.
@csf3corsair: Thanks for making all these vids! It was good to see one with Liara again, since she was my original Shep's LI. However, I gibbeted all my saves so much by now to test different scenarios that he can no longer be considered a very trustworthy partner I'm afraid.

I dont really understand which approach to choose now. I tried the conversation thing with wwise as in the sound import tutorial, but I cant find the new theme in the asset explorer to replce it.

Hey no worries, making the vids is a kinda fun side activity, when I get the time. Only reason I can do it though is because I finally figured out a work-around with my stupid internet. Not 100% perfect, but now maneagable.
Hahaha my saves have been gibbed to the ends of earth as well. Have a few more to do with maleshep, and then femshep takes the show.

I tried to replace the default.sfar files with a backup one in the
DLC_EXP_Pack003, but the suicide mission track is still there. i liked
the original track(s) track more.

That worked for me before, but the trouble was, as Mr.Fob warned, the flag was reused from ME2 and is not the proper ME3 flag, which can lead to some problems. In one instance, one of my infiltrators got turned into a soldier, which might have been a sign of further problems with that save.Putok wrote...

I have the same problem. Was your game or account heavily modified before MEHEM? It might be good to do a clean reinstall to rule any issues with your base game.
Only thing I had done was edit a few plot flags.
I ended up changing a flag using the gibbed editor that let me import for NG+. There was a flag having to do with completion of the main story that had not been tripped, it needed to be set to either "Out in the blaze of glory." or "Lived to fight another day." to enable NG+ import.
I ended up doing a clean reinstall of my ME3 and for the most part, my import problem seems to be solved. One of my characters still doesn't import to NG+, but I think it might have something to do with a corrupted save somewhere (possibly the legend save).

@Locutus_of_BORG: So you are saying that you played through ME3 with MEHEM v0.4 and afterwards started an NG+ game with that character, right? I just want to have at least one confirmed case that this works to be sure there is no bug in MEHEM. Cheers!

Hey. thanks. I ran the manual install and it all worked great! Found some texture mod issues tho in the memorial scene. Liara was black, Edi had black clothes and same with james, black clothes. This sucks, as i have no idea what mod that aint working. Rebuilding it all from scratch..

Suggestion: The last video before going to the credits, should be updated with anything better then the ME1 world, its so pixelated/low res. There gotta be some other world you can use? What about captions from the gravity movie?

Now I am not sure what format the 3D earth model is, but I imagine it would be fairly easy to work around one way or the other.

Reinstallation was not successful. I'm still having these issues. Nice to know I haven't been the only one, though.

About the final scene: McBlade is correct. When I released v0.4 that scene was still very much a work in progress. I just wanted to get v0.4 out there anyway since I knew I wouldn't have much time to work on things after the end of october. I do plan to improve it with a higher resolution earth. The material that is in there now is actually made of several texture, I got from NASA's blue marble page. They are 4096x2048 textures, so they are pretty high res but since I had to render the entire planet in very large size and get really close with the camera it does blur out a lot. However, I did find even higher resolution images which are just for half the planet (which is all I need for that scene). I just need to implement a half sphere with the correct UV coordinates to display it correctly in UDK and that might take some time. But it is on the agenda.
@Blad3Zer0 (and Chroptus): The best way to go is to uninstall MEHEM first with the uninstaller (if you want to be absolutely really sure, then delete your ME3 install directory now to "nuke it from orbit" so to speak

Nice to hear, MrFob, I really liked that vid of the Normandy fly by Earth, but the low-res quality of the textures on the planet kept throwing me off a bit. Any chance of possibly seeing the Citadel in the background (with possibly a few other spaceships around the Earth) for the v0.5 release?MrFob wrote...

@Blad3Zer0 (and Chroptus): The best way to go is to uninstall MEHEM first with the uninstaller (if you want to be absolutely really sure, then delete your ME3 install directory now to "nuke it from orbit" so to speak), then repair you game via Origin and the go to the game details in Origin and repair both, the EC and the Leviathan DLC. Now, before you do anthing else, go to Origin's application settings and turn off the ckeckbox for "Automatically keep my games up to date" (because Origin like to reset ME3 with updates, which will screw up any mods). Now you should have a completely vanilla game and you can install MEHEM v0.4.
Until I can figure out how to manually take .pcc files out of .mod files, I've figured out a way to install texture mods without screwing up MEHEM. I just downloaded the "manual" install of MEHEM, looked at the files, then went to the game directory and made those files "read-only" temporarily while I installed the textures. Whenever me3explorer barfed at a read only file, I just stopped that install and moved on to another. This way I at least got some (a lot) of upgraded textures, and MEHEM works. Giddyup.
