Woops I misundertstood how you meant route 2; in that case I put my vote with 2 then. Makes sense in terms of time. And because we are left with a plot hole if it doesn't happen

Nope, I didn't see that before. The new volumetric explosions are simply fantastic, and the lighting is just... awesome. I feel like a Neardenthal with a stone against a N7 with a mass effect rifle xD

The guy reminds me the Predator.

This mod looks good aside from the music change and the added voiceovers. They feel really out of place.

An optimal ending for me would still be to remove the catalyst conversation, and just have Shepard in the decision chamber. Is it possible for a noob programmer like me to achieve this MrFob? Doesn't seem like it would be too hard to program a conversation to not happen.

Hey so I had an Ash save generously provided to me (MEHEM vid project), but for some reason my game won't accept it. To check validity I had save editor boot it up and it looks fine, but game still doesn't like it. Anybody have any solutions, or could someone provide me a save with Ash as close to the MEHEM ending as possible?

Do you need a default Shep with it or are you fine with another guy? I think I have an autosave from right after TIM conversation is over which should speed it up for you.

Got a couple, one mid-cutscene prior to the occuli going after the Normandy and one at the end of the TIM-confrontation, with TIM committing suicide by Shepard rather than doing it himself.

It's Femshep, though, and I suppose for that to work you'd have to edit a couple files as per Fob's instruction here. It proved malleable enough on my end in the past, for the most part, however, when it comes to changing romance-flags on the fly.

Thanks! I would appreciate both files; editing appearances and flags are not usually a hassle, except in the case of switching Ash and Kaiden.

Hi Everyone and people who made this. I am a returning player to ME3, I didn't like the ending of ME3 that much so just put the game aside. I saw the video on this and would make the game more interesting to play. So I like to asked can you play Citadel dlc after MEHEM? Can you used your other mods or fresh install of ME3 before using MEHEM? Saw there a thane project too, can used both at the sametime? One thing I like to asked, is there anyway of getting rid of grandpa/kid at the end of ME3? Please let me know and big thank you for everyone who made this :)!

Yes you can play the Citadel DLC after. In fact, Deager has made a mod to make the entire Citadel DLC a post game ending, like an epilogue of sorts. I highly recommend it

You can use other mods with MEHEM, at least partly. I believe there is a list on the 1st page of this thread with mods confirmed to work

You can use a fresh install of ME3 and install MEHEM as long as you have the EC

Thane project CAN be used with MEHEM

And yes you can get rid of the starkid and grandpa. Check out the me3explorer forum for details on how to do so

Look specifically at this page for the stargazer scene skip. If you've never used a hex editor, don't worry. This truly is as easy as it gets. Change one byte is all. As long as you're reasonably comfortable in me3explorer you'll be fine.

Coalesced should be fine however you have it set. Mine is tweaked quite a bit and causes me no trouble.

That should be fine, as long as it doesn't alter any of the basegame war assets. I myself am testing a similar mod alongside MEHEM to see if that was the cause of an issue I was having during the tragic outcome.

Hey guys, thanks for keeping the thread running and answering questions. One more week of hell at work and then I should have a bit more time again.
Anyway:
@BinaryHelix101: That should not be too difficult. Head over to me3explorer and have a look around, especially in the tutorial thread. You will probably need to do some sequence modding. The dialogue editor could also help ou with skipping the dialogue itself an you should be able to either remove the kid from the level entirely or just scale it's mesh to zero, so it's invisible. Just post there if you have questions. People are usually quick to help out but it will also take some commitment to learn the tools.

@droid105: Well, looks like all your questions already got answered (thanks guys). Usually MEHEM works fairly well with other mods. ThaneMOD has a couple of special packages which are MEHEM compatible. Coalescent changes should also be ok for the most part (can't guarantee it though without knowing what exactly you change, see Blad3Zer0 's post). Make sure to read the FAQs linked in the OP. They have some info on compatibility, things to be aware of, etc.

@cfs3corsair: Hope you got your safe. I am afraid I don't really have a good one for Ash.

Want to thank everybody who helped me get saves with Ash in them. Now I have Ash saves with both male and female shep, thus saving me a lot of editing time. Thanks people!

Hello folks. I want to say a major thank you to whoever uploaded the videos on youtube for console users. I run a default Shep anyway, and the MEHEM basically replaced my ending in my memories as far as I'm concerned. It was great to see Shepard and Miri reunited at the end!
Also, great job MrFob and everyone involved. This is a great mod. Keep up the good work!

a few people have uploaded videos collections of MEHEM; I think Fob, FluffyNinjaLama, and TimeSpaceRamblings have the largest collections right now, though there still are many other uploaders. 
Really happy with the latest version of MEHEM , and can't wait for v0.5

I've seen some of Fluffy's and several others. I'm blown away by the progress the team has made with the mod already, and I'm excited about future updates! If the team needs help with the console side of thing (X360), then I'll probably consider it.

Would make sense. I mean, I agree with Chashan it is more than a mod :P  But that being said, I think being shoved into fan creations might decrease traffic. I know that if I am looking to change a game, I usually look for mods. Fan creation just sounds like fan fiction, and frankly I almost never go through those

 

Also, don't tell me they got rid of gifs on this new site...
