I'd have a question, however: so far, recordings had From Ashes installed, as evidenced by Javik being present. Does the presence or absence of that DLC affect the current version in any way?
Not that I would terribly mind the added incentive to get my personal copy of it, just wondering.

Great I will be using this once I'm done with DLC.
As it is now I just quit after taking down Kai Leng and don't even bother with taking back Earth. Now I will have a reason to play on.

Ah crap, just tested the mod, but it doesn't work. I followed every step in the instruction, including the Leviathan fix.
Joker calls Shepard, Citadel opens, music from Overlord kicks in and than black screen and nothing.
Seems like I have to deal with Bioware's ending. *cries*

This is what people wanted!
Everything after "elevator scene" (you know what I mean, star kid, 3 choices etc.) is absolutely useless and it's just destroying whole game and ending.

AAAH it works, the ME3 Update two days ago must have messed up the files. I reinstalled the mod and now it works... I'm so happy now :wub:

Very VERY well done, sir. I did have to giggle at the subs sometimes, when EDI all of a sudden takes on Hackett's voice... but damn, this is pretty damn good work.

I'm still more on the EC's Refusal side, but I'm sure glad someone took the time to create a Happy Ending. Kudos!

What I did changes how Shepard looks in the entire end sequence, so it's not really a fix.  I swapped coalesced files and loaded a texmod before the memorial scene to get video capture.

wow just wow ELE08 thanks for upload this, i only hope that this mod works with my femshep too on my pc, im a little slow with the mods   This is my canon end and this  was the only thing as a customer  I asked to bioware the choice to have a end like this. Thanks Op to gave to me that choice.... ,  of course thanks for your wonderful work and efforts

First of all, thanks to everyone who uploaded videos. I am glad to see that it works for fine for Trainor. And yes, be aware of Origin updates to your game. If you see one or if the first video crashes with the music still working, reinstall the mod to make it work again.

This is FANTASTIC! I am testing how to change the armor specific to this scene (rather than for the whole sequecne after the laser hit) at the moment, but knowing that it's a coalesced ID helps me a lot. Thanks! Now I just need to find the right sequence node that changes it and we are in business.
Sorry guys, I didn't really have much time to work on any updates yet. Maybe I'll make some progress on the weekend but between work and RL friends to go to the pub with, I didn't really get to do much yet.
It may take another two weeks or so until v0.2 comes out but it will come.

About From Ashes: I think Mdoggy plays it without FA at the moment and I don't see a reason why it would not work. I think it will.

Just caught the videos for this mod on Youtube and I like it. Not perfect but I like it. An ending that would work well for some of my Shepards. Not all but some.

And I must say the singer for the credits. I find her voice to be beautiful. Song was fitting for the end.

The song is "Reignite" by Malukah and the reason why it fits so well is because it is a tribute song to Shepard and Mass Effect . All the credit for this goes to her of course.

I have hust seen your video of the mod. Awesome MrFob, just awesome! I got a true "Hell, yeah!" moment with Anderson and Shep, the first real on in ME3. That's what was missing all along for me, the feeling of satisfaction of a job well done. Thank you!

I'm not familiar with the coalesced, as I'm an xbox player - but isn't it the "is injured pawn" setting as referenced in the Gibbed Save editor?

Normally, I know, it's set to FALSE in the RAW section of the editor, and I've been under the impression that was the appearance flag for the injured look.  Though I could be mistaken.  Again, though, I have no idea if that's what it'd be called in the coalesced anyway, just throwing out ideas.
