Right. If I remember correctly when Ash or Kaidan aren't in that spot, then Samantha is instead.

That's the only time she will be in the scene unless she's being romanced

@Darklord1978: While v0.5 should be technically compatible with the non-english versions of ME3, you will hear certain dialogues in english and others will be different that they are supposed to be. The plan for v0.6 is to restructure dialogue in the mod. If successful, we will provide a full German version with v0.6. I'll post here once I have a better idea as to how well this works out.
@The RPGenius: Of course you are in the credits. You helped a lot with the proof reading. Thanks heaps! As for v0.6, as stated above, the dialogue restructuring is the main goal for v0.6. If it works the way I hope it will, then we can not only offer multilingual support but also a couple of other conveniences like subtitles during the videos, sound and voice volume level that can be controlled by the in-game options, etc.
As for content, I do have a few idea for v07 and v0.8 but I do not want to say too much since I am not 100% sure that we can get these ideas to actually work in game. So one thing at a time.
@Tin-kicker01: Thanks for the suggestion. I am afraid we have no plans to introduce more music to the mod though. Feel free to integrate your own music though. You will need to "mod the mod" in order to do so. I suggest you check the me3explorer forums for more info on sound and music replacements.
@themikefest: Yea, I didn't change the memorial scene beyond what I had to. Just like in the original game, Samantha will only show up if the VS is not in her spot (either because they are not on the ship or because they are romanced (which will lead you to the hugging scene). One could change the sequences to always make her stand there but it is a bit tricky because it's easy to create a bug where both, the VS and Samantha are in the same spot and "overlap", so you'd have to be careful to avoid that.

I'm not too concerned since she is my LI and will be in the scene. Plus I play on the ps3 so having the MEHEM is a no go.

Yeah, that's partly why I created a Compendium DVD of fan-created endings. The link for it is dead at this point, but I'll probably do another volume eventually. Youtube is fine and all; but I always felt something could be gained by having a disc to go alongside the game discs, especially for the console players!
Either way, I am grateful for all the creative minds in the fandom, who are talented and willing to share their amazing projects with us!

hey guys,
first: a huge thank you to the creator of this mod! i never finish the game because i dont wanted to see my shepard dying ; )
i found this mod and was happy as hell. i downloaded it at nexus (the latest version) and the installation went fine. no errors or something else.
i used a savegame before the ceberus quest and the game was running without problems. until the very end.
after the shodown with illusive man. i killed this litte pain in the ass, my shep went to the console and had this beautiful little chat with anderson about he is being proud of you and so on.
after that i got a video in which the normady ( with this random soldiers) went to the citadel and get my shep. the last thing i could hear was that shep is alive.
and then i get a black screen.
that was not very nice. at first i thougt that this bug could probably caused by my computer. so i reload the automatic savepoint and my shep was standing in some weirdo..room..? there i could see on the one side the Crucible and on the other side some reaper fighting and the earth in the background. i can move my shep around and using the small gun.
but thats it. no options for interacting or something.
what went wrong?
i dont use any other mods and i dont modified the mehem.dlc
also the automatic update thing from origin is off. and i play the german version with all dlcs...
i so want to see the happy ending from this awesome mod!! (and a no dying shepard!) : D

@monkey_queen: Hm, that is weird. I would have assumed, that MEHEM should work with the German (or any other non-English) version of the game but I never could test it. Maybe there is some incompatibility.
We are planning to address this as I am working on a German version for the mod anyway (although this is fairly complicated to implement and may take a while).
In the mean time, you could try uninstalling v0.5 and see if it works with v0.4 for you. Since v0.4 is not using the DLC method, it may work better with the German version and it has almost the same content. Otherwise, stay tuned. I will update this thread when we have the German version working.

thanks for the quick response! : )
well..maybe the mod is working for other german players and my problem is some kind of special bug? i dunno. (i dont checked all the other 286 pages which are maybe full of similar questions and problems
)
but you are working on a german version? dude - you are awesome!
i have no probs with the english voices so far...but to get (eventually) a working mod with the familiar german voices would be very very nice. take all the time you need with this ; )
for now i will try the v0.4 and see what happen. thanks for this advice!

I'm starting a new play through, and after experiencing the "ending" a few times previous, and even with the ultimate ems ending it's still way too sour for me. I'd really like to use this mod, but I'm playing on a PS3 and so far, all I've really been able to... I can't even call it modding. Basically just using a usb to edit the save files (romance/paragon-reneade/xp/etc.). And I'm really out of my depths here, but if there is a way, I'd definitely be willing to do it, even if it was difficult. Also new to these forums, so I'm sorry for responding seemingly randomly to your reply!

I gather it is not possible to use mods like this on a PS3 or XBox 360. Sorry about that. If we could make it work, we'd give it a try, but it looks like it's a no-go.

Yeah, I figured as much
Thanks for the quick reply though! I think I'm going to try getting as far as I can in ME3 before the ending cut-scene, save the file onto a usb and just convert it to a pc game file so my friend can play it with the mod and record it! If it works it'll be almost as good as the real thing, so I'm really hoping it does.

Do you not have a PC to play the game on. The Unreal Engine 3 is really forgiving on system requirements, so even a low spec machine should be able to run the game.

I assume this is directed to me? If so, the only computer I have is a laptop (which- no matter how good a laptop, is not good for gaming imo) that's a few years old and is pretty slow. I could try the game on here, of course, but as I said with a laptop I don't think the experience would be good anyways. If my laptop even managed to run it without crashing, which I highly doubt again.

@tyzulas: Yea. sorry, as Deager said, modding on PS3 is not an option. We looked at a couple of scenarios but even for the 360, which is closer to the PC architecture in many ways, modding the game seems to be impossible. The few mods for other games that exist also require modding the console hardware in order to play with altered game files. From what I read, it's easy to destroy the console in the process so it's not something you want to try. AFAIK, the PS3 is even more problematic in this regard. We did have a few people on the me3explorer board who tried to translate mods but no one seemed to have success.
On a side note for the technically interested, even if we could convert the mod, I suspect it wouldn't run properly. On the PC, we have the luxury of copious amounts of RAM. MEHEM alters the way levels (or rather parts of levels) are streamed in and out of memory and in some cases streams in more data than the original game. Usually, the devs try to fill up as much RAM as they can on the consoles. I can imagine that MEHEM uses more memory than the base game during the ending, which on the consoles would probably crash the game anyway.
So sorry again, I doubt we will ever see a console version of any mod.
@BDelacroix: Thanks! I updated the OP with the new link.

What spec is it if you don't mind me asking.
My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite C50D , this one http://www.toshiba.c...ite-c50d-a-13g/, and it runs the Trilogy pretty well. The three games look at least as good as they do on the consoles.

Have said it before, but worth repeating. I played on the 360 from the day ME1 came out until finishing ME3 three times to see if I had messed up somewhere. Put the game away. Picked up the series for the PC when I found out about your mod. I only needed one mod to enjoy this game again. Yours. Thanks.

Last night while I was playing I realized how much I love this series. I hate playing on a pc, I'm not good with keyboarding. I can do it and I do on TOR and ME but I really like my handy dandy 360 controller, which I use on Skyrim.
I really wish BW would give you a % of the dlc charge for the 360 and whatever else it's on and just make it available to everyone in the entire world. ![]()
