it is possible, that it trys to "fix" the game - i would reinstall the mod after repair.

Well, maybe the rEApers trying to indoctrinate your game again, but MEHEM is just too sneaky, so they are searching for it?

I love the idea of Harbringer calling Shepard's name out. Just that one single word 'Sheppard'. Somehow it gives that chilling and 'Oh sh*t!' Kind of vibe...

The best part of having Harbinger just saying the "Shepard" line is that it ties it all back to the previous Shepard Dream Sequences.  During those sequences you hear various squadmates calling his name.

It really does tie it all together.

You really wanna give the IT people more ammo with a scenario like that?

I think the voice should have a slight reverb or echo, as Shepard is standing pretty far away.
I also wonder, is it possible to port the Me2 Harbinger to Me3?
Harbinger looks like a generic Reaper, while he had a different color scheme in Me2.

http://fc04.devianta...h77-d5bl7v0.jpg

Well, the texture of ME3 is more rich, but the model is just a standar reaper missing the central "tentacle" under the head. I'd be nice to to re-texture the ME2 model and then put that ingame, but I guess we'll have to wait a more functional version of the ME3 explorer for editing meshes meant to be in-game.

The Me2 engine is very similar, shouldn't it be possible to just import it?

Well, I honestly never paid attention to the whole "IT" scenario so I do not follow how that would tie to it.  I just thought it would be an interesting connection is all.

Hi
Some troubles..... I started a new game importing an Me 3 Shep.. and i could not open a critical door on Mars.

I Just downloaded Leviathan.. and if on Origan i right click the game i get a repair messeage.

The game is repairing now but its very slow.

I have NO idea if it is because of Mehem....But i can imagine that after installing Mehem the game is broken and Origin thinks i should repair the game files..

I'm don't realy know but I don't think MEHEM would have any affect on mars and doors (I hope) I don't have Lavi and I'm not sure if I'm going to get it.

Mr fob would know wayyyyyyyyyy more than me but I cant see how MEHEM would affect Mars or any other levels with the files that have been changed.

But I could  be wrong.

@Emphyr: I am usually running the mod with origin on and online on my system. This didn't happen to me yet unless I am using importing broken files into the LDC. Even than, the game will not repair it on it's own (it just gives me an error in the main menu) but I have to do it manually via Origin. So I have no idea what's going on there.
As for that door on Mars, I don't see how the mod could do anything like that, especially something this specific. It doesn't alter any files for this mission. That said, who knows...
My advice would be the following procedure: Let the game repair, do not intall the mod, play the section on Mars but keep the save from before that point. If this works, quite the game, install the mod, load the save from before that point and see if it is now broken again. If it is, than something really weird is going on, if it is not, then MEHEM is not responsible for this issue. Also, did anyone else already play the Mars mission while the mod was installed? Did anyone encounter this problem (or can confirm that it worked fine for them). Also, tell us if you have Leviathan installed. Thanks.

@SimplyNeo & d1ta & others: The problem with this idea is that I cannot get Harby loud enough. If you just have him yell "Shepard!", you want it to be really really loud, it should shake zyou in your very foundations. For reasons I explained on the last page, I have trouble doing that atm. Therefore, a longer line just works better. If he just says "Shepard", it would feel a little ... lost.

Also, about the reverb, I am already giving him heaps of reverb + bass boost + amp + Idontrememberwhatelse. The problem is that the sound engine of the game makes it really difficult to implement this well in the game itself.

BTW, running the final tests on v0.2 at the moment, uploading soon.

EDIT: Haha, having the catalyst conversation with Overlord battle music in the background does actually improve it.

great update.

about the dream scenes:

the dream scenes do not even need to be changed. shep has just a guilt dream about the boy back on earth.
shep will get better after some "couch-time", group therapy and hugs - it helped my ex-gf big time. imo, the catalyst just used this image, to soften shep up.

about harby:

keep it simple and straightfoward. 3 or 4 taunts should be enough.

Greatly looking forward to it on my end as well. ^_^

About the Mars-glitch, I recently went through there with the current version, did not run into any trouble. Granted, no Levi installed - yet, online-transaction hasn't gone through yet despite two days having past. I did have some issue with authorisation of DLC these days, quick restart of Origin and the game mended that however.
Therefore, I call Origin-shenanigans. Let the update complete and simply re-install the modification. Fob's suggestion to keep saves sounds reasonable as well.

Are the other sounds playing during the Beam Run unique to that section of game? Could you lower the volume of everything else in the scene why keeping Harbinger at the max?

Ok, that sound good. Mars seems to be working for people with Lev and also for those without it. So I guess it wasn't the mod that caused the problem then.

@wwinter: No, unfortunately they are not all individual sounds. E.g. the gunships firing is the standard gunship weapon sound, etc. (especially for the gunship, I wouldn't want to tune it down or we'll even hear more of stupid Kai Leng on Thessia :D).
Even if they were, it would still be awkard because the game would suddenly go very quiet (not to mention that it would be an insane amount of work to edit every single sound that is in that sequence).

Also: ;)

Ok, MEHEM v0.2 is up and ready for download.
The Leviathan fix for v0.2 is up as well.

Video will be up soon.

List of changes:
- Shepard now wears his uniform at the memorial scene (s/he still has and injured face but if you play default Shep, it's partially healed. Custom Sheps are in the same condition as during the mission)
- EDI is no longer on the memorial wall and is present during the memorial (she replaces Javick, who is already taken off to that nebula he wanted to see). Note: Edit should be there even if you don't have from Ashes but it would be nice if someone could confirm that.
- New add-in dialogue slides have been added for the casses that the Geth and Quarians made peace and also for the case that the player supported the Geth and wiped out the Quarians. Credit for these new slides goes to areyouareaper! Thank you!
- Harbinger now speaks a couple of lines during the beam run
- Shepards walking animations during the memorial scene are fixed to the best of my ability. Manly Shepard walks manly now. If you have a FemShep with a female LI/best friend, FemShep also has a manly walk but that doesn't look as awkward as MaleShep's female walk.
- Garrus facial expressions are fixed. His hugging scene is still clipping like hell though, That's something to fix for the next version
- Some minor clipping throughout the memorial scene is fixed (not all of it though)
- Shepard no longer carries a pistol during the memorial scene
- The pistol shot, you could hear after the pause in between the space battle videos is removed
- The sound mix of the videos has been slightly improved to make some of the dialogue easier to understand#
- IGN logos have been removed from the videos and one repeating scene of Joker has been replaced with a new one

At least that's all I can remember at the moment :)

There are still things to do but I think this update takes care of most of the technical issues. All that is left now is tweaking and improving.
Here is a list of things that may still be improved/changed

- Take care of the ME2 LIs in some way and remove inappropriate hugging (This is next on my agenda. I have a very definite plan for this and if everything goes well, this should not take too long to implement)
- Remove Garrus' clipping issues (I'll keep trying to tame that stubborn Turian)
- Suggestion: Show survivors from the citadel, e.g. Cpt. Bailey (Things are in the works for this one already as well)
- Improve the videos with custom scenes (Ongoing discussions and plans in this very thread)
- Suggestion: Change the music (I still haven't had time to look into all the suggestions I have seen so far. However, until something really impressively better comes up, I'll stick to the suicide track. If you like to change things for your version, try the tutorial on this page)
- Suggestion: Implement the extended dialogue between Anderson and Shep during Anderson's death scene (Not sure if this is feasible, it'd be nice but it will be pushed back until we have a clearer idea on how to do it)
- Fix subtitle issues for Joker and Hackett (I think I know how to do it but it's a pretty time consuming procedure, not sure when I'll do it. For now, I recommend to just turn the subtitles off)

Mr. Fob, I am so excited to play with this! Thank you so, so much.

It'll be nice to see EDI again. As for Javik, if you don't give him the shard, he doesn't go off to that Nebula, but I'll just imagine he is like, just offscreen or something. Seeing EDI in the scene means more because it confirms more she's not dead.

Looking at the change log to do, the mod has come a really long way. It's pretty much what I always wanted. I can't really express how awesome this is and thank you and everyone who worked on it.
