The way i figure it, all the LIs knew Anderson pretty well.  Kaidan and Ash served under him in ME1 and ME2, Steve and Samantha in ME3.  Garrus, Tali, and Liara also knew Anderson from the first game. 


I get where you are coming from, I myself think that especially for the ME1 LI's that scene pretty much conjures up a whole lot of emotion. They were there since the beginning, knew Anderson personally (esp Kaidan and Ash), lost Shepard, almost lost Shepard again but then against all odds they finally beat the reapers and go back home (or back to the Normandy at least =D..)
I get that part, it's just that sometimes the facial animations is a bit off (I experiance some of them through out the game, not just within this mod) but that is just my personal taste on the matter and maybe I should just repeat that magic mantra: the mod is awsome as it is, any further polishing of it is just extra icing on the cake ;)

@wwinters99: hey, infiltrators are cool! I love that tactical cloak. shooting oponent right on the face and trying to get a mail slot shot is always something I look forward to >=)

Hm, damn it.

Went into BioD_End002_600Epilogue_LOC_INT.pcc and tried to replace all of the Stargazer dialog with a five second silent clip, following the directions in Mr. Fob's tutorial regarding sound. Tested it in game, still played.

I'll have to try and find every single iteration of the Stargazer seen and replace all of it with silence to see which one is connected to Mr. Fob's work. Hm.

EDIT: I think i edited the pre-EC Stargazer scene because looking at the Extended Cut files, I see epilogue blue red and green. Hm. Wonder how I can edit these in asset explorer...

EDIT: Figured out to edit it. Still wrong though - epilogues now are the whole "red/blue/g" cutscene things. What the hell...

EDIT: AHA! Seems to be in BioD_End002_730MemorialGreen_LOC_INT.pcc Let's try this again....importing says "Didn't found entry." Wat.

EDIT: It works fine with normal files, it refuses to let me edit DLC files. The sound tutorial messed with files in the standard game. I'm not sure how I can edit these DLC ones I have to extract and load externally. : /

EDIT: Wonder if there's an easier way to do this given I'm not wanting to put new sounds but rather mute them here the dialog and the frog/animal noises and crap.

Hey guys! Love this mod idea! The thread is way too TL;DR though.

I thought I'd offer up some ideas for the ending.

After Admiral Hackett gives the retreat order, use the sound clip from Joker from the beginning of ME2.
"No, I can still save her!" (You'd have to edit in an optional him, or find a matching urgency Shepard!)
Have Hackett pause then find a short clip of him giving something like, "We'll give em hell." Another generic edited clip that could be changed or interpreted as a battle order would be good here. Even using something from the Battle Groups reporting might work. Crowd sourcing might help on getting a good mix here.

I wouldn't if during the fight you cut down on Joker's talk to the "Come on girl, let's give em Hell" line and added an EDI prim response of "Yes, Jeff." or something of the sort.

Then have Hackett use one of his generic "What's your status" lines and just have Jeff or EDI Or Cortez use a generic "Launching shuttle" line.

(I specifically don't like the "You better use a Shuttle for this one" line, it has Joker using his laid back joking voice, I'd prefer at least a strict by the book Joker here.)

Anyway, some ideas, if I can find the lines, I'll copy and paste links to appropriate sources. :)

As Omega's .sfar-file does not have a single component overriding files directly linked with the ending, it does, yes.

Also did a run just now with Omega being completed, and it worked splendidly.

MEHEM works with all the dlc except Levi, you need the Levi patch for that. I have done MEHEM with all dlc and had no issues.

I would say this would be good if this played during scenes where the Resapers where just destroying everything(hence use all low ems scenes at one part)

This is actually quite funny (and a bit embarrassing :)) now since I don't know. I am just going with what PKchu wrote earlier in this thread:

I never modified my savegame limit and I just went through the tutorial here: If you did that, I actually don't see a need to update the PCConsoleTOC.bin since your modifications don't change the file size. Maybe PKchu can help.


@ABCoLD: Yep, that yould be nice. Unfortunately, it ould require some things that would be rather tough to implement (e.g. Joker distinguishing between male and female Shepard. Also, I spent a lot of time looking for a better shuttle line. I never found one (Cortez can't say it it because he could be dead at this point btw).

@Chashan: Good point. However, as far as I can remember, Chambers never really got a romance flag, did she? I'll have to check what is in the ME3 conditionals about her. If there is an entry, it might be possible. That said, I am not even sure yet, how well my plan will work out in the first place.

I can confirm if you don't edit the pcconsoletoc.bin and install MEHEM, it will break it if you modified sfxgame.pcc to get more saves. I thought I had messed up the install the first time and that fixed my error. (Don't ask me why, I'm not a wizard who understands these things.)

Easiest way (I know how) to fix it - load "sfxgame.pcc." Then change literally nothing, save over sfxgame.pcc with no changes. It'll still take a long to save. When it finishes it will ask you if you want to update pcconsoletoc.bin - load up Mr. Fob's PCConsoletoc.bin, it'll edit it and now it will reflect the change to made to sfxgame.pcc and should work fine.

I'm sure there's an easier way that doesn't involve wasting time waiting for it to save, but that works.

My guitar has been in the shop for a month. Everything has been in the shop for a month. Had to be a G&L Legacy and not a Stratocaster. Had to have a special neck when the truss rod snapped when the weather changed.

Thanks PK, all of this with the ME3Explorer of course, which you can find here.

EDIT: Oh, I think I know what the problem might be: If you edit the SFXGame.pcc in the ME3Explorer and save it, the file gets decompressed by the program. This would change it's size and therefore, you'd have to update the PCConsoleTOC.bin. Just follow PK's instructions and it should be fine.

A faster way I just found out is to use tocbinupdater. No need to waste time saving that file for no reason.

Tool - > Tocbinupdater -> go to file on the top right - > check pcconsoletoc.bin

Will check for errors and ask if you want to update.

EDIT: And no problem. I found that comment pretty amusing as well. : P

EDIT: @Re Kelly: There is a plotflag keeping your fish alive and stuff, but you could romance someone else and still get the Kelly stripper outfit thing.

You mean with regards to ME2, right?

Far as I heard it does register for the paramour-achievement, and she does appear in the "flashback"-slides upon choosing one of the tri-colour pills in the vanilla-Director's Cut, as I am seeing just now on YT.

Modding-thread does not have her romance-plot listed, though, so there is indeed that...
