Latest update of Origin? Or ME3? Because I _just_ repaired my install yesterday and have both the latest Origin and ME3, and it works fine.
Testing past intro screen - my game loads properly
Guessing it's a problem that is correctable Couple of thoughts come to mind:
When ME updates it replaces every single file, and when Origin updates, there's a file called IGO32.dll that is "updated" if you've renamed it to IGO32bak.dll
1) If you're using the latest version of Origin and the FXAA injector, remember to double check that you renamed your IGO32.dll to IGO32bak.dll, ME3 will crach otherwise.
2) Literally every modified file is replaced when you update ME3. You need to literally reinstall not only the DLC elements of MEHEM, but the parts that you dragged and dropped. If you had a modded coalesced.bin, or anything, it all gets replaced by an update. This is why it's good to back up the file architecture of all your "minor" mods for super quick reinstallations, your coalesced.bin, edited sfxgame.pcc for saves, etc.
3) If you have edited your save game capacity, and then updated Mr. Fob's PCConsoleTOC.bin, you will need to do so again otherwise ME3 will crash on start up.
4) You may have installed MEHEM wrong or your files or even your new Mass Effect install could be corrupted. If all else fails, back up any files you can't easily replace, try a full repair, redownload MEHEM, reinstall any personal mods you have and them MEHEM.
5) There's an option to download the beta version of Origin or something, make sure you disable that if you have it enabled. It's unlikely but you have a new version of Origin literally no one else is using, it may be harder to isolate future problems.
I can personally attest to MEHEM not being "broken" by the developers, because my version seems to work fine.
...
"EDITED: Recopied back=up files to ME3 folder. Eeverything is working fine. Whew..."
...and I wrote all that up for no reason.
EDITED2: For anyone who does any personal modding, I can strongly recommend using the hard drive space to copy a working "MEHEM" default.sfar as a quick "repair" for both Levi and the Extended Cut so you don't have to go through the tedious process of ticking off all the files each time you need to test a problem with MEHEM. Makes it super easy to restore and tinker with stuff if you mess with the game files a lot.
