My first post on the BSN is to say bravo, good sir. Fantastic thing you've created here-won't be downloading as I'm part of the unwashed Xbox masses but fantastic work nonetheless.

I already made peace and after the Extended Cut, more or less I was... content with the ending (even if I think that all that crap with the Star child is so... out of place there)

But I always support things like this, and I like to be able to have a happy ending, even if it's with a mod. I'm lucky to have the Games for Xbox and PC. So I'll have the original as it is in my xbox and this awesome mod in my PC playthroughs. Thanks you made my day!!!!!! ^^

(Sorry for my poor english :S)

I agree! Merry Christmas everyone, and enjoy the prezzie!

Bioware should be paying attention. This mod made me *want* to play the other DLC. I've since acquired both Leviathan and Omega. Sadly, it's not because *Bioware* restored my faith in the potential of their games, but entirely MrFob's work.

Although, I still hold out hope that they'll recognize the genuine need of the community, and either "recognize" this ending as a possible ending, or maybe even find a way to make it legit? (dare I hope?)

Because, ultimately, Bioware *invited* us all to participate in writing the story. They're *still* doing it, in fact, with regard to their proposed ME4. To my way of thinking, if they want us to co-write this story with them, they have to respect our choices if we want something that differs from their vision. Otherwise, this isn't a co-creative process, it's a blatant violation of our trust for a quick buck. And I somehow suspect Bioware doesn't want to be perceived as being that kind of company. Not after they've worked as hard as they have to earn the industry's respect.

I was very critical of BioWare after ME 2, because that game was in my opinion a major step back from what made ME 1 such a great game. And even though ME 2 earned a lot of awards and was allegedly the best rated BioWare game, they obviously did listen and agreed to a lot of the constructive feedback. As a result they created first LotSB featuring some of their best writing in years, and then created ME 3 which is an amazing game and despite its own flaws much closer to ME 1 again than ME 2 was.

So I don't think it would be fair to assume that the writers at BioWare do not listen to the opinion of their fans. Releasing ME 3 with such a terrible ending was almost certainly a decision that was forced upon the developers as well. The reasons were probably time constraints and an unwillingness to spend more resources on the different cutscenes that would have been needed to create a proper ending to the game.

i have hopes, that you are right. if you are, it is possible, that something awesome in the pipeline. something, that gives us the chance to end shepartds story on a possitive note (my paragon shep deserves it) ..

if they keep it the way it is, we mehem-fans already have something to do it.

if you have read the comments in this thread, it is very clear, that even little adjustaments can bring players releaf.

btw.

merry christmas, feliz navidad, glædelig jul, fröhliche weihnachten, joyeux noël, kala christougenna, vrolijk kerstfeest, buon natale, wesolych swiat, boas festas, god jul,

not to be cynical, but BW will not bring anything ground-breaking to the table... it will be mediocre at best and they will hold fast to their "artistic integrity"... (did you know that the endings were written by Casey and Mac (if I remember correctly) without any and all input from anyone else?

Why repair a money-grabbing maching, when it still works...

they do not give a f*ck anymore, they never have... ME has turned into a Michael Bay movie, lots of flash without substance, yet the flash is pretty enough to make money...

it caters to the lowest common denominator..
I'm done now, don't want this thread to be shut down, because of a truth...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Can't wait for February... CPT Fob estimated that the next MEHEM ver. should be done by then...
Merry non-denominational holidays everyone... ;)
Apparantly this is something that's not possible to do atm.  And may never be possible, due to how the memorial scene was set up.  However, I think he mentioned that there was "something special"  planned for Miranda/Jack romances for the next version.  Though what that is exactly hasn't been revealed yet.
To add my gratitiute to the others. Thanks for 'closure' on my Paragon M!Shep and Liara romance adventure. What a story they'll have to tell to 'all those little blue children".
Just finished my run through with the MEHEM installed. Thank you.
Only had one technical quirk; when Harbinger first landed, he didn't say his first line, though the other two came through clear as a bell. This is probably an installation error on my part.
As a proponent of the original four extended cut endings (I sat firmly in the "I don't mind the high EMS destroy ending" camp), I can definitely say that without a doubt, I will NEVER play ME3 again without this installed.
It was well built, aside from a few quirks that will likely be ironed out in later versions, and while others may see it as a Disney ending, I can definitely say I preferred being able to see Shepard and Tali together at the end rather than 'her looking up hopefully and then we see him breathing'.
I also personally didn't mind that we didn't see the ground team save Shep. If this gets implemented, will it be an optional addon, or hard-coded into the next version?
If I had any wishlisting to do, all I would ask is that it would be EMS sensitive; for example, if you have more than 3700 EMS there's no Starchild, no decisions to make, etc. However if you ran lower then that (My end value was 3850ish with all DLC and a perfect run), you still have to engage in the Starchild decision (Thereby returning choice to the players).
However, that's a small nag. In my ME universe, there will never be any other ending than this.
Shepard lives. The Geth live. EDI lives. Drinks all around!
It's the best if you can ask those voice actors to help you with this.
No offense, but piecing audio speeches together just wouldn't have the same kick.
that would be great.
but the voice actors are busy making money and i am not sure, if they are alowed to join this kind of project. i would really like to hear mark meer and jennifer hale, to give us an evacuation request wih their beaten and weak voice - i think, everybody would like this.
Just a question (it probably have been already asked): does this mod supports all the languages? Or will it be in english, no matter what?
So I decided I'm buying ME3, I don't really care anymore about what's broken with it or not. I just need to know something, does origin still do that crap in which they would send out your information to third parties or something?
Oh yeah and if anyone can help me on how to get his mod working I'd appreciate it.
atm, only english is supported ...
i dont know about origin .. but it is most likely the same stasi-s**t like steam and all the iphone apps.
there is quite a good explanation inside the readme of the mod. you need the me3explorer and have to do it manually. btw. whenever the game is updated, you have to redo the process.
What about let's start a fund raiser.
Ask all fans who want a happy ending to donate for the mod. We can show Bioware how much money towards sale are they missing out by denying us a happy end  ;)
bad move .. if mrfob would get only one cent, bioware and ea would shut this mod down without a second thought.
the voice actors might help out for free - but only, if they are allowed to do so. they have contracts with bioware.
