Touche. And I heartily agree. And btw as long as we are discussing where the series is going, related to ME4... they have said basically that it is not before, it is not after, and its not during. At least in the sense of those words. And they say that call it ME4 isnt all that accurate :/ My gut feeling on that statement is that regarding the series already made.. they arent changing it if they already that far into ME4

Oh, I think I can even get higher on the depression scale, concerning this DLC. This pretty clear comment is from yesterday and if you read his second post, you'll see that Chris is one of the guys testing the thing so he'd know.

In more MEHEM related news, I finally got around to post some more stuff on sequence modding for those interested in trying their hand or those who just want to get a bit of background about the inner workings of MEHEM. Don't mind potential spelling mistakes I did this in a bit of hurry .

Chris has just declared MEHEM canon with this. Well, is not proffessional, but is good enought in 0.2 version to be far better than the original.

With hard work (as ever, if I can help in anything, just ask), it will be the best ending ever. That is more, everyone will choose it as ending when finished, because is an ending not "very similar" to deus ex. Is an ending that can be recognized as own.

This mod is too good to be true I play on Xbox360 but... i've downloaded the video and now i can just shut off the game when Anderson dies, and play this on my TV. It would be PERFECT for me with Femshep since i play with the default appearance. Thanks a lot, that's a great job ! You hold the line ! And that credit song is wonderful...

I just wanted to say that this is a great piece of work, guys. I'm feeling pretty envious of PC owners now who can put this in and not have to worry about the bull**** default ending. Never mind; I guess I could always stop playing after the encounter with TIM and watch a video online instead, though that might be awkward as my FemShep isn't the default one.

Still, great work, guys, and I hope further work is made on it so it becomes something really amazing.

Wow, here I was clinging to a little hope that bioware would finally admit their mistake and listen to fans, but I guess that ship sailed.

@darkshadow: I thought the exact same thing when I read it.

@Wavion: Kudos to you sir for being modest. Something that I don't see very much nowadays. I'm not very computer literate so your installer helped me immensely . And you are spot on about CDProjectRed. I can't wait for the Witcher 3 after it was announced. I watched a video that had the developers discussing the game and one of them said this and I'm quoting word for word:

"It's very important for us to be independent. We do not want to have a producer from company xyz sitting here and telling us that okay, Geralt's grey hair, that sucks. The only people who should tell us how the game should look like should be consumers."

And that's why they have my business. And because I like Geralt

As far as dragon age 3, I have really no hope anymore. Gone are the days of preording. Now, when DA3 comes out, I'll research it by watching reviews and seeing what people say. Then I'll decide if I will purchase it or not.

Totally off topic, but I came across this thread in the forums. Its a very interesting question after all that's happened with ME3. But I love the joke the OP wrote, couldn't stop laughing.

That's an excellent point.  Maybe for v03, MrFob (or another one of us) can make both a default Male-Shep and a default FemShep YouTube video of MEHEM, so more XBox users can have their endings saved vicariously.


McBlade223: Thanks for the kinds words! I can't wait for Witcher 3 and I'm even more excited about Cyberpunk 2077.  You want to talk about player choice impacting a story, how about missing a whole 1/3 of the game (a whole city) based on an Act I decision (Witcher 2). And Always-Free DLC is a nice touch, too. Love those guys.  Also, thanks for the link to that other thread; I totally agree with the OP, and the joke was, indeed, quite funny!

Just looked around youtue a bit and found this playlist by FluffyNinjaLlama. That's quite a bit of variety.
I'll post a link to this in the OP ASAP since my own video is not very good quality anyway (with the sound offset and all).

Oh and I agree on CDPR. Great studio, great games, great business philosophy.

I can't wait until all DLC is out for this game, because as soon as that happens, this mod will be getting installed on my PC and will be my canon ending. To MrFob and all the others in this thread, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I seriously don't know how hard it would have been to add an ending that fit somewhat along these lines with a high EMS, but I'm glad for your dedication to give the game the send off it deserves.

And to echo the sentiments of wavion, I can't wait for Witcher 3 either. CDPR is now my "must preorder" company. Bioware has sadly fallen from this state after DA2 and ME3, and the post release attitude. I'd rather give my money to those who realize it is the fans that keep them in business. (sorry for the off topic rant!)

Anyway, can't wait to see what improvements happen with your future releases MrFob!

Agreed, CDPR is quite awesome, especially because of their GOG programme (so to speak) can't wait for W3 as well, just managed to play through W2 a few days ago (got a new graphics card, that's finally able to run this game beautifully...)

ME3 is dead, long live ME3... meh, MEHEM is my canon now... (even though I am among those who have bought every piece of DLC for ME, was not impressed by many of those... luckily enough, monies are not necessarily one of my concerns, though I still must insist on quality... which only a handful of DLC have delivered...) right now, I weep for ACM (merciful Buddha, they effed that one up royally... can't wait for AJ's review of that one...) and wait with bated breath for Tomb Raider and Project Fedora (and every bit of interesting new information about MEHEM, of course... ;D)

Double Fine Adventure
Star Citizen
Dreamfall Chapters (note: this one is still open, I highly recommend it to those of you who like games with strong narratives)

I'm also eagerly awaiting Beyond Good and Evil 2, whenever it might come.


I suppose I'm also looking forward to this new ME3 DLC.  With MEHEM I can actually enjoy playing Mass Effect 3 again, so any new story-driven content is welcome.

And back on topic, I wonder why Bioware no longer releases modding tools. Neverwinter Nights had them, as did Dragon Age Origins. Then they just said, "F it!"  Just think how great MEHEM could be by now with official tools.
