I don't know if I'm the only one who found this, but when I was doing a solo, and getting to an objective, I heard an Engineer setting up a turret, I killed him before it was set-up, strange, it was set up, and to top it of, the turret is invisible! :-O

I had no choise to fall back.

Anyone experience this?
Didn't have time to record it since you can't pause an MP game.

Yes it's been around forever. Invisible Basnhees too. Sometimes you can't see any enemies at all. Then there's games where only certain enemies, like phantoms are invisible.

I don't have a problem, I just found it amusing that you decided to inform the forum of a glitch that most of us have known about since the demo.

There is another glitch however where the engineer sets up the turret as he continued to move around and shoot. The turret practically set it self up while the engineer casually walked away to go shoot a player aggressively. Only once have I seen it.

That refers to Firebase White / Geth / Gold farmers who camped in one spot, fought against only one type of opponent and thus unaware of the other numerous "quirks" the other opponents have. Such as invisible turrets, magnet grabs, and such.

That is, that is my assumption of their assumption.

Lol some people should have been nicer to you, but seeing as your new and the game has been out for about 9 months now, I can tell you that anything wierd you find has already been discovered and discussed.

W/G/G or FBW/G/G is for Firebase White/Gold/Geth

it was the cheapest and easiest way to beat a gold for people who lacked gold skills but wanted gold credits. People who farm this are known to lack skill.

Using the search feature will save you alot of hassle

Ashen I get where you are coming from, but if you look at the date under his avatar you'll notice he is quite new around here. SO how about just nicely suggesting how he look that stuff up in the forums so he can check other threads before posting one about an old subject?

245 or so hours of gameplay on the clock, I've only had this happen once, and haven't seen it mentioned in the forums - and I don't just farm W/G/G

Banshees - I get that a lot. Phantoms? once. Turrets also just once. Guess I'm lucky?

Seruiously. The game is on sale and being rereleased so new people are expected. I say it's a good thing. More new people means MORE people in the game, wich means we're back to a decent player base for awhile. Hopefully they stick around so it helps ensure more DLC or other cool surprises from Bioware.

My comment would have made a lot more sense if I linked the group it was made in reference to with my post. The OP is not new to the game and it's pretty obvious if you look at his n7hq.

But I guess it's safe to assume that at least the OP got what I was talking about, seeing as he deleted the group recently.

Some of our characters disappear in game due to a bug as well, such as the Fury. Sometimes the Shadow's sword gets stuck in what I'd say is a "go F yourself" gesture.

Probably, since without any real reference lots of people took it as an inconsiderate post, but I suppose that is life. I got called an Elitist last night while playing with a random because I was on gold outscoring his lvl 20 Destroyer with a gps, using my Lvl 18 QME using a Valkyrie one and hurricane 4. Over mic he made it quite clear I was just showing off in gold and after checking my friends list and seeing names he recognized from the forum on it, I MUST be an ELITIST who slums it in gold. I told him that if he checked my manifest on the forum I am only a decent player and MUCH better with a team and do NOT play Platinum without a good team, and if he checks the forums a lot he should be able to find builds that help him be good too. (warning ego boost for Ashen) I even told him to look at builds by one of the people I've used builds by and one of the 2 names was yours. Apparantly that was bad, because he then said over mic. "If you know those 2 you are a definite elitist and need blocked." He then convinced the others to kick me after the match and proceeded to tell them how to report me for poor sportsmenship.

Now back on topic. Yes seeing as I never saw the group in his sig I'd say he caught your reference. But no problem, since I didn't mean too imply you are a jerk, just that it came off that way. I will however be looking forward to you newest character build when we get the new one.

It's a shame he deleted the group, because the description for it would have fit right in with the topic since we're on the subject of elitism.

It would actually be pretty damn funny to see how different the responses in this thread would be if it was still active.
