I got called an Elitist last night while playing with a random because I was on gold outscoring his lvl 20 Destroyer with a gps, using my Lvl 18 QME using a Valkyrie one and hurricane 4. Over mic he made it quite clear I was just showing off in gold and after checking my friends list and seeing names he recognized from the forum on it, I MUST be an ELITIST who slums it in gold. I told him that if he checked my manifest on the forum I am only a decent player and MUCH better with a team and do NOT play Platinum without a good team, and if he checks the forums a lot he should be able to find builds that help him be good too. (warning ego boost for Ashen) I even told him to look at builds by one of the people I've used builds by and one of the 2 names was yours. Apparantly that was bad, because he then said over mic. "If you know those 2 you are a definite elitist and need blocked." He then convinced the others to kick me after the match and proceeded to tell them how to report me for poor sportsmenship.

Yes I thought it was funny as well, and figured there was no point in telling him I haven't even had a chance to play with you yet. So I quietly waited for my kick, while I quietly meesage the other 2 randoms and told them that if they outscored him they would be next on his list. Then I reported him after I was finally kicked.
